The first time you came into contact with this supernatural being was the first night at your new home. You, (Y/N) (L/N), were simply reading a book when a dark figure moved across the room. At first you thought it was just your mind playing tricks on you, but when it simply sat in the chair across from you you knew it wasn't a trick.

"W...what are you?" You asked as you felt your heart pace quicken and your fear rise. In a haunting voice the being replied,

"Tch..this was my home when I was alive..I was murdered here and until I can figure out how to get out of here I'm stuck." Your fear had dropped once you heard how calm he was. You breathed out a sigh in relief and said,

"I'm (Y/N) and I just moved in. I hope you don't mind." His features were slowly getting clearer to the point where he looked like a normal, living being. He sighed and got up, his midnight black hair swaying as he did so.

"I'm dead, it's not my choice to make. I'm Levi Ackerman." He glanced back at you and watched as you sat in your seat awkwardly. You laughed nervously and said,

"Well..I um..would get you some tea but.." Levi turned around and crossed his arms.

"The first time you make a dead joke is the first time I send your body flying out a window." Your body tensed up and you replied,

"Y-yes sir!"

That was your first encounter with Levi, and as time progressed, you and Levi spent a lot of time learning about each other and yours pasts and what not, and soon enough, you found yourself comfortable with him.

It was 8 pm in late December when just as you were about to go to bed, Levi came running down the hall to your room.

"(Y/N) wake up now!" You bolted out of bed and looked at him in horror.

"W-what is it?!?" You stared at him in anticipation.

"I found out how I can go to the afterlife..if there even is one.." You gasped slightly and asked,

"I'll help! How do you do it?" He breathed and ran a hand through his hair. He looked up at you and said,

"I have to have a living human fall in love with me and me in return. Apparently it has something to do with learning to love will lead you to the promise land, I don't really give a shit. I just.." Levi surprisingly looked at you with desperate eyes. You had learnt over time that Levi was a tough egg to crack, and this made you realize just how serious he was about leaving this world. You sighed and walked closer to Levi. You said in a quiet voice,

"You..don't have to do much then.." Levi looked at you in confusion but soon caught on. He walked closer to you and said,

"I'm not a good person (Y/N).." You frowned and grabbed his hand, which you were able to do since he was a powerful entity.

"No you aren't! Levi I know a lot of things about you and being a bad person isn't one of them! You had to do what you did to survive and that's okay. I..I love you Levi." You looked into his eyes with a kindling fire that told him you truly loved him. Levi looked back at you with an amazed look before he suddenly took you into his arms and kissed you with such passion you didn't even know it was real. You gripped his shoulders and kissed back, making sure you showed him that you felt the same way.

"Levi.."

"(Y/N).." Just as you were about to kiss him again, your body slipped through his and ended up on the floor. You panicked and got back up, turning your head towards Levi you seen his body slowly getting lighter and lighter. Tears flooded your eyes as you thought of your newly found love leaving you and you screamed,

"NO! DON'T LEAVE ME NOW!!" Levi looked so upset at your emotions and actions that he almost started sobbing himself. He replied,

"I'm sorry but..I have to go now. We'll see each other again..I promise.." And with that, he was gone.

(Time Skip)

It had been 60 years since your beloved Levi had left you. You were in your 80s now, and more then ready to leave this world and see Levi once again.

You grabbed your cane and started walking towards your kitchen, when a sharp pain attacked your chest. You gasped and clutched it, dropping your cane you fell to the floor with a big thump.

You could feel yourself getting weaker, you assumed it was a heart attack or a stroke, and you breathed deeply. You gasped a few time before smiling. You said out loud,

"I'm...coming...Levi.." And with that, your eyes shut and your life ended.

For a while, everything was black, but you woke up after a bit in a heap of white clouds. At first you didn't see anything, but your eyes soon focused on an outstretched hand and a pair of steel eyes staring at you. You smiled and grabbed onto the hand, know all to well who it was. Levi pulled you to your feet and immediately put his forehead to yours.

"I've missed you (Y/N)." He said as he intertwined his fingers with yours. You smiled widely and replied,

"And you, I."
