Colin was sitting in his room. School was nice and all, but he never enjoyed it. Now he could play his new game. Hopefully his character saved. He always hated it when a game didn't save a character he created, but didn't play as yet. He logged onto the game. His character was made. He clicked "Enter Warriors Guild" and then a bright light flashed. He couldn't see anything. "What the fridge?" He covered his eyes, trying to block out the light. He then felt like a sword went through his skull and passed out. Whether it was from Pain or from tiredness, no one knows yet.

Colin heard burds chirping and felt the sun's heat on his skin. He didn't open his eyes yet, but felt the groud around him. "Hey... Are you alright." A voice came from where he was. He felt the grass and realized he was outside, he didn't know how he got there. Maybe this person would tell him. "Seriously, your scaring me." The voice came again. Colin opened his eyes, his vision clear as soon as he did. He saw a girl standing over him. He could only see her face. "Thank Eris, your alive." She sighed in relief. Colin blinked a bit. The girl walked back a bit. Colin slowly got up. He felt no pain. "I should probably introduce myself. My name is Claire." Claire introduced herself and looked at Colin. "My name is.... Miles." Colin went with his gamer name. "Nice to meet ya Miles." Claire said, and Colin realized she had a slight southern accent. "Same here." He said. He looked around. He seemed to be in a forest and grabbed a stick off the ground. Claire looked at the stick. "What do ya need that for?" She asked. Colin thought for a second. "Protection I guess." He looked back down at the stick. It seemed sharp enough to use as a weapon. Claire kept walking, muttering every once and a while. Colin enjoyed the calmness of the forest. Then he saw something move in the bush. Claire saw it too and pulled out a knife. "Well Miles, combat is essential for a game like this. This will be your first fight. I'll help you out if needed." She finished and a green slimeball jumped out of the bush.

Enter Battle
The ground changed a bit and made a ring. 'Green Slime' appeared above the slimeball. "Slimes are the basic enemies in this game. They are really useful early on for newbies. Good thing you grabbed the stick. You can defend yourself." Claire said. Colin looked and saw something appear before him. A selection screen.

Colin looked at his options. He chose fight. He slashed at the slime. The slime took two damage.  A healthbar appeared under the slime's name. "Slimes only have ten HP so this should be easy." Colin said to himself as he watched the slime. The slime launched itself at him. "Miles, block the attack and go for a counter attack!" Claire shouted. Miles nodded and held his stick up to where the slime would land on the stick. It worked and Colin took no damage. The slime was thrown back and took 3 damage. Colin smiled. "Nice job Miles, now finish him." Claire was being very supportive. Colin stabbed the slime and it made some gurgling noises then burst into smoke. A chest appeared where its body was. Claire smiled "Well Miles, you beat it by yourself, you take the loot." Colin noticed he gained 10 exp. He walked over to the chest and opened it. It had 5 gold, 3 slime balls, and that was it. He collected the items and the chest dissappeared. Claire walked over to him. "We need to get you to an outpost. The might have some stuff you can use. You can also get something better than a stick." Colin turned around and looked at her confused. "What's an Outpost?" He asked. Claire sighed. She took a deep breath and gave a small lecture. "See, an Outpost is like a village. They are scattered around the areas we have discovered and most have shops. Some have factory like places which make special mass produced weapons for the army and such." Colin nodded. "Well Miles, lets go." And Claire started walking. Colin followed her, and thought about what he has done today.
