In the dictionary it states that a friend is a person with whom one has a bond of mutual affection, typically one exclusive of sexual or family relations and friendship as the emotions or conduct of friends. Though in our opinion it's much more than that.

Whether on Wattpad or in real life, we all make friends and sometimes without even realizing it, we come to trust and love the people we meet only through screen.

In the past we never really had a day solely based on celebrating those relationships we have formed here on Wattpad, but now finally on the 20th of March, we do!

#WattshipDay was founded on the 6th of March where two close friends wanted a way to celebrate the friends they had made on Wattpad and with some spit balling between these two friends, #WattshipDay came to be!

On Wattship Day, we dedicate Wattpad based gifts towards our friends. It can be any gift you can think of - from graphics, to poems, to chapter dedications or even posting about them on your message board! It's all free reigns after all!

#WattshipDay is free for anyone to join! But a quick disclaimer for anyone who is confused about what #WattshipDay exactly is. We are not a community nor are we a club, we are a day that will be celebrated annually here on Wattpad.
