Kai's POV

I awoke covered with a green, wet, slimy substance. I green something loomed over me. I drew my sword and sliced at the menacing... shrub. I sheathed my sword and saw that the green substance was a leaf, soaked from the early morning dew. I remember now. After searching for Zane for endless hours, we decided to make camp in a clearing. Cole, Lloyd, and Jay surrounded me in a heap. I nudged Lloyd awake. 

"Just five more minutes, mom..." He mumbled.

"No, Lloyd."

"Three."

This is not going to work. I thought for a moment, then my idea lightbulb lit up. 

"Pancakes!" I yell in Lloyd's direction.

"Whuuuh?!" He exclaims, jumping up and tripping over Jay. He lands with a thud in front of me.

"Good. You're up." I say in a teasing tone."

"You jerk." He grumbles playfully.

"And to you as well." I reply, turning to Cole.

"GET UP!" I scream at both him and Jay.

They both sit bolt upright and knock their heads on the same tree trunk.

"Ow..." Jay gripes, rubbing his forehead. 

Just then, my cell phone rings. 

"Ring ring ring ring." A high and squeaky voice that was my ring tone yelled.

"Ring ring ring ring... RRRRIIINNNNGGGG!" It shrieks like it was dying.

"Turn it off!" Cole screams.

"I'm trying.." I utter, fumbling with the tiny little buttons. Why did the controls have to be so freaking tiny?!?!

Finally, the ringing ceases and is replaced by Sensei Wu's voice. 

"Kai?" Sensei asks.

"Yes?" I answer.

"We have found Zane. Return to the Bounty and we will share news."

I give an extremely relieved sigh of releif. Zane was alright!

"We're coming!"

"I am sending the Ultra-Dragon to aid you in your return." Sensei  explains. "See you at the Bounty."

"Good." I reply.

I close the phone, and share the news with the others. They have similar reactions to Zane's okayness. (Is that even a word?) Just then, a voice like squealing tires cuts in to our happy conversation.

"And just where," It snickers darkly. "Do you think you're going?"
