Silver's POV

I waited. For a sound. A feeling. Something. But nothing came. I sat alone in a damp, torch-lit cavern. I wish I could go outside. But it is infested with shadows and evil. The Illusionai told me to stay here, so here I remain. I cast an illusion of my dragon Grace to entertain me, but it only filled me with sorrow. She has been gone for two weeks now, a captive of the other Raptors. Vicious creatures. 

Somehow, I will get out someday. Not that I am a captive like Grace. The Illusionai are my protectors. Call them servents if you like.They left one day and told me that there was a disturbance, and have not come back. 

Suddenly, a sound of clicking claws echoes in the cave. A figure turns the corner. Thank goodness! SilverScale is alright. I took in every detail, so I would remember him if I ever left or he did. Silver scales, leathery wings, fan-tipped tail, and shining black eyes that reflected the torchlight and gave off an eerie glow.

"Silver!" He cried out.

"Yes?" I answered.

he came to a screeching halt in front of me, and took a deep breath. "The Raptors have abducted the Water Master!"

"They have? But the prophecy said that a 'Ninja Of Ice'would find her!" I protested.

"He did. I watched the whole thing from the cavern below them. A boy with blonde hair and a white ninja gi swooped in and they both flew out in a water jet." He explained.

"Did you get a reading? And where is everyone else?" I ask.

"The heat sensors did not sense much heat eminating from him, and the metal detectors went off."

"Interesting. And the others?"

He shakes his head. "The caven caved in and we got into a battle. Most of us flew off, but some were held hostage and bitten by the Venomai." He shivers and continues. "The venom has groown stronger. It takes effect almost instantaniously. Like the gas at the end of The Amazing Spider Man." 

I give a slight laugh. "You're a little obsessed with that movie..."

"I know." He does the same.

My smile fades and I rise from the ground. "Well? Let's go find them." 

I grab my bow and my quiver. "So," I say. "Ready for an adventure?"
