After what happened I tried my best to avoid Shadow.

I'm not really good at it.

If he says something I just nod.
If he gives me food I eat it quickly.

I still help the lost souls and after that I hide under my blanket.

I didn't see John anymore. I guess he found his way to his light without my help.

I still want to see Ji-woo and I will find a way to visit her. Shadow can't stop me from seeing her. No one can!

But right know The memories of her are the only things I have.

I heard the door shut. He's back.

"I talked to Mr. Cullen, we will have warm water now".

He means he manipulated him.

Mr. Cullen is our landlord. We don't have to pay because of Shadows powers.

We don't even have to pay for food or clothes because Shadow uses his powers or stops the time.

He's actually really cool besides the fact that he's a monster.

"Okay" I said quiet.

"Get up, I brought some food"

I made my way to the kitchen-table.

Finally chocolate-milk!

"You can see her If you want".

I turned my face to him. Did he really just say that?

"One 1 hour after that You will get back to work understand?"

I just nodded and drank my chocolate-milk.

At Night

Me and Ji-woo are walking hands in hands to the park.

When we were younger we usted to spend our whole day there.

"So I was making coffee for dad, I was holding the cup Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder , I turned around and spilled the whole coffee on him".

I couldn't stop laughing.

"Stop laughing! I was lucky that it wasn't that hot. He could have put me in jail for this".

Now she was laughing.

Ji-woo put her arms around my neck while I put my hands on her waist.

"Jake?"

"Yes?"

"Do we always have to meet at Night?"

"Why don't you like it?"

"No!that's not what I mean, I'm happy spending time with you but I'm just confused..."

"You didn't told anyone right?"

"Of course not! You told me to trust you".

I saw Shadow behind her.

"Ji-woo- time is over". He smirked.

"I-I have to go". I told her.

"But Jake, I still want to be with you!Why do you have to leave me?!".

I put my hands on her cheeks.

"We will meet tomorrow , I promise, C'mon I walk you back home".

Narrator.

Timeo watched Jake and Shadow walking together.

"Hey, Tenebris let's add some action".

"What are you up to?" Tenebris asked.

Timeo turned into his human form and winked at his brother.

"You'll see".

I helped another soul. Robert was around 70-years-old. He's was a funny man. He told me that he was sick. He had cancer. He was also married to his childhood love Bree.

He can finally see her again.

Me and Shadow walked back to our apartment Suddenly someone went in front of us and smirked at us.

Can he see us?

Shadow

I smirked at my brother. I finally showed him that I'm not that weak as he thinks I am. He's in his human-form.

He had a fire-ball in his hands.

I guess he is boring so he wants to annoy me. He laughed and throw his fire-ball at us.

Uff, I'm not in a mood to play with him.

The Stranger had a fire-ball in his hand.

Is he also a demon like Shadow?

He laughed and throwed his ball at Shadow.

Shadow did nothing.

Why is he not using his powers?!?!

DANGER!!!

I got in front of Shadow to protect him.

This was a mistake. Pain was everything I felt.

It kinda feels like the day I met Shadow.

The same horrible feeling.

Burning.

Later...

I felt soft hands on my skin.

I slowly opened my eyes to see Shadow on top of me. He applied bandages on my wounds.

"Are you okay?"

Shadow raised his eyebrow.

"Shouldn't I be the one to ask you that?"

I kept looking at him.

"Don't ever try this again! I don't even know why you did this!" He said strict.

I also don't know. Why did I got in front of him? Why did I even want to protect him!?!?

What's wrong with me??!!??!

"Am I still a monster?"

I didn't really heard what he asked I just nodded.

My eyelids felt heavy.

"Good"

was the last thing I heard befor I feel deep into sleep.
