Ji-woo

Being at a funeral is hard.

I guess, I'll never get used to it.

How will Jake react after he finds out? I'm sure That the person was him!
I didn't tell anyone about it. Jake would have his reason why he didn't show up.

Him and Hayley were like Yin and Yang.

Me and Hayley didn't spend much time together. When she was with Jake she had only eyes for him. She really loved him.

Sometimes I got mad at them because Jake didn't have time for me anymore.

Don't get me wrong, I was always happy for them but after Jake told me what he actually feels for her ...Well It was good that they broke up. The surprise is that she was the one to break their relationship. I'm just glad that she didn't find out what happened between me and Jake...this would have break her heart

Past

"You have no idea how badly I missed you Ji-woo" Jake said while hugging me.

"You're right, I have no idea" I said and pushed him away.

Does he think It's okay what we did?

"What's wrong? Did I do something wrong?"

Yes, yes you did.

"No--You know what forget it"

I turned around and wanted to go to my room but Jake grabbed my wrist.

"You know I hate seeing you mad. Please tell me what's on your mind is it about the ki--"

"You and Hayley are on my mind!"

"Listen to me--"

"Look, don't get me wrong, I'm happy for you two, I really am, but it feels like that I made a sin".

" Why didn't you tell me sooner?"

"Because I was afraid that I'll sound like a jealous friend. And well Yes I do sound like a jealous friend."

I sat on the couch and Jake sat next to me.

"I'm sorry Ji-woo"

Now , I feel bad.

"You don't have to be so--"

"I don't love her"

"Y--You don't? But Jake you're happy with her".

He looked at me.

His sad eyes.

"Jake you and her are a dream-couple, you guys are like characters from a book.  Everybody wants to have a relationship like yours--"

"I'm not saying that our relationship is toxic or fake. I do care for Hayley and yeah I have feelings for her but not in a romantic way. I love her as a human being but she's not my soulmate"

"I think you're just confused. You and me had a moment--"

"Do you really want to know why I'm with her? Because she reminds me of myself." He said and got up.

"We have the same anger issues, we struggle with the same things, we even fail with the same things in life..I don't know, I thought me being with her would fix her...and would fix me but I was wrong".

But that's not what I wanted for her.

I got dressed up.

Today I will see Ji-woo. I'm happy about it. But what happened that night won't get off my mind.

Seeing my ex like this broke my heart.

And the fact that I don't regret what happened between me and Ji-woo while I was in a relationship with Hayley makes it harder.

"Should we go now?" Shadow asked.

"Yes, I'm ready".

"Soooo..."

"Soo?"

"If you see her things might get complicated".

"Don't worry, I have a plan B."

"You do?"

"Yeah, Plan B is you Shadow"

he raised his eyebrow.

"If something gets wrong, you can use your powers."

"You think I would help you?"

"Yes, because you kinda help me the whole time".

At her house

"What's wrong go inside"

Shadow said and put his hand on my back.

I'm nervous. I don't know what will happen after she sees me.

What if she told anyone, that she saw me that night?

What should I tell her?

The truth? Would she believe me?

Or did she already let go of me?

What if she can't see me?

Wait, I have Shadow!

Someone opened the door.

It's her.

"Ji-woo"... I got closer to her.

"J-Jake?"

She ran to me and wrapped her arms around me.

"I knew it Jake!I knew that you're still alive"

Am I?

"I missed you so badly! I'm so happy that you're okay!" I said and hugged her thighter.

"But what happened with you? Where were you all this time? Jake please tell me.."

I can't. Not now.

She put her hands on my cheek.

I did the same and wipped her tears away.

"You don't know how worried we all were. I felt like a part of me already died...And why did you showed up at night and suddenly dissapeard?"

"I'm sorry for everything. Did...Did you tell anyone ?"

She shook her head.

"No. Because I knew that you have your reasons. But You don't have to hide anymore. Let's go inside, you have to see my dad--"

"No!" I cut her off.

"No? Jake, C'mon, People think that you're dead. Don't you want to see him? What about your parents? Or your brother? And what about Chris?he also misses you!"

He does?

I'm not sure about that.

"Cute, Chris misses you too"

I heard Shadows name. I turned my head to look at him.

"I'm sure that he did take care of her. Ohh and you should stop looking at me. Ji-woo is not able to see me. Because I don't want this".

I turned my head back to her.

"Please ,don't tell anyone"

More tears began to fall from her eyes.

"Hey, there is something, I have to take care of. I-I just can't tell you now. Please Ji-woo just trust me".

"The Police looks after you. What If they find you?"

"They won't".

"You're scaring me right know".

"I have enough!" Shadow said and came to us.

"Jake, who's that?"

Shadow put his finger under her chin and looked at her eyes.

"You won't tell anyone that Jake is alive. You'll do as he said. You trust him and will keep this a secret. Got it?"

She just nodded and let go off me.

"Good Girl. Now go inside and do what little Ji-woos usually do".

She nodded again and went inside.

"Shadow why did you do that?"

"Because things got complicated. I read her mind. She would've tell everybody".

"But I wanted to hug her longer--"

"That's enough for today. You know who else wants a hug? The lost souls."
