"Wakey Wakey!!"

Can't he be quiet just for once?!?!

"Wake Up Jakey today is your work day"

"Let me sleep" I jawned and cuddled my blanket even more.

Shadow wasn't grateful to give me a pillow.

I slowly opened my eyes because he pulled the blanket away.

"I'm not joking anymore, Get up!" He said in a serious tone.

Ohhh someones getting mad.

C'mon Jake don't be scared of him!

"Pff I won't help you!"

"So you really want to go to hell?"

No. I don't.

"God doesn't love me so--"

"What are you talking about?"

I breathed out and looked at a half naked Shadow. Does he really have to show me his naked torso?

"You heard what I said"

He just shook his head.

"Humans are really stupid"

Am I just sleepy or did He sounded disappointed?

"I'm here with you of course I'm stupid!"

"Fine, No saving, no Ji-woo, I actually wanted to bring you to her so that you could talk to her but if you don't want to-"

I quickly got up.

"Are you serious?!"

" Will you do your job?"

Should I say yes?

"Yes!Yes!I'll do it" I grabbed his jacket and opened the door.

"Shadow, C'mon the souls are waiting for me!"

At a fast food restaurant

" what are we doing here? I thought I have to do my job"

Shadow breathed out. what he did next shook me.

"Hey, hey I don't like this"

He tried to hold my hand!

"Chill, don't be coy".

So he just grabbed my hand and we went inside.

"Can't they see us?"

" Only humans that can't let go of you can see you."

"Good to know I guess"

So Ji-woo can't let go of me.

"But I have my tricks" shadow added.

Shadow blow on his finger and after that I saw that the people knew that we're also present.

"Take a seat I'll be back"

After a while

Shadow came back with two plates

"Enjoy" he said and began to eat.

I looked at the food and and Realized that I was hungry. Really hungry.

"I couldn't sleep because your stomach wouldn't stop growling".

He said and took a sip from this drink.

"Maybe you put Poison in it.." I mumbled and played with the fries.

He just shrugs his shoulders.

"I don't care if you starve"

Of course he doesn't care, he has no feelings.

But I had to give in. I began to eat.

Yes, me, Jake Kang loves food.

"Do you work?" I aked mouthfull.

"HUh?"

I looked at Shadow and couldn't hide my smile. He reminds me of a squirell.
Of a nice

"I know what you're thinking"

I almost choked on my food.

He just smiled. Idiot. I hope he reads that!

"Let me show you some thing...Hey Brian come here".

A boy with brown hair and blue eyes cam to us.

"Hey, Shadow do you enjoy your food?"

"Ohh yes but I'm thirsty".

Shadow looked deep inside Brians eyes.

Brian was like in trance.

"I'm really thirsty Brian" he said again and his eyes switched dark.

I looked around and didn't believe my eyes. Did the time stopped? Are only we moving? The people around us aren't.

"Of course Shadow" I heard Brians voice.

What happened after made me almost throw up. Brian took a knife and made a small , not very deep cut on his hand. After he made his hand into a fist he hold it above shadows cup.

"Thank you Brian, you can go now, I think you should see a doctor"

Brian just nodded and left us. The other people still didn't move.

Shadow kept smirking and drank from his cup.

After all he's still scary.

After a while/At Night

I kept walking and hold my stomach i still have the scene in my head.

What if he wants do drink my blood?

I shook my head to avoid this awful thought.

"Stop walking we're here!"

We are here but there's no one.

I looked around and still didn't see anyone.

"Can't see a lost soul, do you really think that we're right here?"

"Close your eyes and use your ears" he commanted.

Should I really close my eyes, I mean I'm alone with him?

"Jake, If I wanted ro drink your blood I would already done it"

I swallowed. Does that mean he won't drink it?

Jake, don't be afraid, After this you will see Ji-woo.

I breathed out and did what Shadow told me. Concentrate...Just concentrate...

I heard ...someone....A woman...she's crying?

When I opened my eyes I saw a female body in front of me. Her hands were in front of her face.

"Uhhmm miss? My Name is Jake, I want to help you..so do you let me see your face?"

She slowly put her hands down.

No, It can't be.

"H-Hayley?" I stuttered.

"Jake? Is that really you?"

This situation feels so ...I don't know fake? My ex-girlfriend is in front of me and is crying her soul out.

"You're dead?" I asked and came closer to her. I put my hands on her shoulders and tried to calm her down.

Me and Hayley met in High School. We did have a nice realationship but after a while she just broke up with me. She didn't want to tell me the reason.

Sometimes I thought that is was because of her dad. He never abusived her, and from all I can tell is that he isn't a bad person but he never showed her his love. And yeah, he wasn't a big fan of me. Unlike her mom. She was always a good woman to me, her husband and for her.

"Sooo how do you guys know each other?"

Shadow asked and came closer to us. He still had his stupud smirk on his face

"J-Jake, I want to go back, I--Iwant to get
Back to my body, I was so angry at dad and told him bad things"

She stopped to catch her breath.

"I didn't mean what I said...I was so angry....I-It was raining and I lost control".

Raining and she lost control.
Me too Hayley.

"Jake they can't see me"

She cried even more.

But how?

I looked at Shadow.

"Well, Her parents are sure that she's in heaven... So they did let her go and can't see her anymore"

"But you can use your powers right?"

"Only if she becomes mine"

"Yeah, right!"

I put my hand on her cheek.

"Listen Hayley you--"

"Ohh and she will replace your spot and you'll maybe dissapear or go to hell and will never see Ji-woo ever again"

Baaamm! This was a slap in my face.

I do feel bad for Hayley, I really do but I can't let this happen.

"Hayley, listen to me"

She looked in my eyes.

"You and I know that it wasn't always easy with your dad. He's complicated but he loves you. Your mother loves you too ,I know that you don't want to see them suffer but They will be okay. It will take a while and the Pain will never go away but Everyday is going to be better for them"

"I'm scared Jake...".

"Don't be" I whispered.

"I-I'm happy that you're here.."

A  light appeard behind her.

The other side?

"B--but Jake what will happen to you?"

The light became smaller.

That's not good. She has to go.

I kissed her forehead.

"I will be okay, I promise".

She turned around and went to her light.
