ENROLLING AT YŪEI was supposed to help Namiko deal with her problems.

With her growing self-esteem issues and newfound resentment towards everyone around her who has yet to notice, Namiko Todoroki had assumed that being accepted into the best hero school in Japan and then being put into Class 1-A would help her finally show her father (and herself) that she is better than second best.

But when Namiko's half-brother Shotō, who she's been competing with her whole life (unbeknownst to him) decides to also go to Yūei—instead of really pissing off their dad and going somewhere other than his alma mater like Namiko had suggested—and then ends up in the same class, her chances of getting over her problems become slim to none; which then turn to impossible, because what would the high school experience be without a group of bullies (the League of Villains) terrorizing (trying to kill) her and her friends almost every other week.

Though maybe not all hope is lost when an angry boy by the name of Katsuki Bakugō makes his way into Namiko's life.
