NAME MEANING / S : Wing Ding, he was told, was the name of the first Gaster; its actual meaning is lost, but it's associated with strength and individuality. Gaster is, in reality, a bastardization of the name Aster. When signed, G's and A's are commonly merged together.
HISTORICAL CONNECTION ? : It's said that the Garaldes and the Gasters share some common ancestor somewhere down the line. Both sides vehemently deny this.

Q1 : If you could write your character your way in their own movie, what would it be called, what style would it be filmed in , and what would it be about?
A1 : It would be a silent movie about the War, and would end with Toriel talking to him and him understanding. It'd be called something like "The Man Who Speaks In Hands" because I'm uncreative.
Q2 : What would their soundtrack / score sound like?
A2 : DANNY ELFMAN. CLARINETS.
Q3 : Why did you start writing this character?
A3 : I knew I wanted to write a story about Sans pre-Undertale, and Gaster's kind of a necessity. 
Q4 : What first attracted you to this character?
A4 : Again, I had to add him to Reset, but I liked the freedom I had with him. Now he's definitely one of my favorite characters to write ever.
Q5 : Describe the biggest thing you dislike about your muse.
A5 : THAT I WILL NEVER KNOW WHAT HE'S REALLY SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE. Also, that he hates humans so much.
Q6 : What do you have in common with your muse?
A6 : Possibly sort of almost but only kind of being into one person forever. And...I think that's it, actually.

A7 : HE WOULD FUCKING HATE ME. If I were a monster, though, he'd be polite but still wouldn't want to talk for very long.

A9 : Oh, gosh, I don't even know. Car rides, probably. That's where I get my ideas.
