So, as of writing this, I have all the remaining screenshots lined up to finish this! Which means you guys only have to bear with me for a few more chapters until I'm done posting these chapters.

So, I might as well get on with it, huh?

After finding out last chapter that the factory is producing the big alien grunts, today we're going to start-

In the reject pile. That's right, after crawling around in some vents, we get dumped into a pile of the corpses of all the alien grunts that didn't pass whatever qualifications were required for alien grunt invasion.

And here they are just. Casually dumping bodies out of these chutes into the pit.

This isn't really an ideal place to stick around, though. It's probably worse than Freeman's brief trek through the waste processing facilities back at Black Mesa. So we'll keep going and find...

Whoop-de-do, more factory!

But I mean. The entirety of "Interloper" is going through the factory, so. Not really surprising.

This section of the factory has all these conveyor belts that are carrying these big green boxes.

What's in the boxes, you might ask? Well, when a factory mass produces anything, such as giant genetically modified soldiers, they typically need to package it in order to ship it off...

So that's right, every single one of these boxes on all these conveyor belts contains an alien grunt. And if you start breaking open boxes, they will fight you.

Thankfully, they don't have armor or hivehands yet, so they're not too hard to beat if you happen to fire off a few stray shots accidentally.

Oh, yeah, and one more thing about this section of the factory:

For whatever reason, (seriously, why would you leave this in your factory) most of the floor is a big pool of water(?) with a handful of those alien sharks in it. I guess the devs thought "Hm, since players have the long jump module now, they won't take fall damage if they slip off the conveyor belts. Guess we gotta throw a shark tank in there to raise the stakes again!" or something like that.

Anyway, with no other way forward, we do in fact, get to ride the conveyor belts.

No, no, it's cool! I'm supposed to be here, riding the conveyor belts! Don't worry about it!

And of course, when the conveyor belts finally run out,

We can always hop down a ventilation shaft!

And oh, look!

More packaging! Guess I'll just ride on top of one of these boxes, then, and-

Hoooooo shoot, that's a lot of lasers!

And all for what,

More conveyor belt riding, just higher in the air? Pretty much.

He's just sittin' here, enjoying the view...

Next time we try to ride a box down a laser corridor, though, they seem to be ready for us,

And our ride gets diverted...

Into this decontamination chamber of sorts, I guess? And it's basically just

More "avoid the lasers" games, before

The box just gets dropped down a pit. Thankfully, there's a convenient air duct vent nearby for us to jump off to before we go plummeting down there too.

And finally,

We'll take a break here in this little control room of sorts that you unfortunately can't actually do anything in. Finally learned not to push random buttons for fear of the consequences, have you, Freeman?
