To my readers,

You may have looked at the cover of this work and decided that I just took people from my history book, spliced some images together, and voila, came up with a novel. I hope to prove that is not entirely the case. I also stand by the cover; I wouldn't have used it if I didn't like it, no matter how obvious the character "inspiration" is. 

But maybe I should have this listed as historical fiction or fanfiction or something, right? Even despite how obvious the reader might believe my depictions of the characters, or their names, or some biographical inspiration, to be, I maintain that these are coincidental. Because quite honestly, this book may or may not have been inspired by real events, despite the fact that you'll be hard-pressed to find a place called Dark Dimension, New York on a roadmap. These aspects had to be altered a bit, and embellished here and there. 

Otherwise, it would just come across as some author gabbing about his coworkers and what he thought of the car models offered by a certain company. I've injected enough insider humor to appease my fellow enthusiasts, and I must state that I am indeed a fan of the real-life brand represented by Snowbaroo myself, so all of this is intended as good fun. I use my own name and character because, well, this is my story. I'm not that into myself as a character, but I thought it would be helpful to be candid, since the idea for documenting this tale literally came as I was shoveling my car out of my driveway. 

It must be said that the events which I depict in my novel are not always the most realistic, but are merely fantastical flights of imagination inspired by monotony. I hope my readership enjoys these episodes, and my try at crafting parody. Some jokes might not catch on, and that's okay, but I really do think there's a little something for everybody in this book.
