Recap: Vaigha going to Vaibhav's house - party - meeting his siblings - Kishore.

Vaigha's PoV
I made a list of items to be needed and took out the plastic bag from kitchen. I took out my purse and went to hall only to see Aunty still sitting at the sofa sadly.

"What's this aunty? Did you forget that we have to go market to purchase the vegetables and other items?"I asked and aunty sat without replying.

I sighed. It's been many days she is continuing this drama. It's only because her son didn't come to his home after that party and didn't stay with his parents. From that day Nandini aunty is down. No one can blame her since she is a mother and definitely wants to spend sometime with her son. What kind of man he is? After all they are his parents and why he is behaving so rude to them? Only parent less kids know the real value of a mother and father. Vaibhav, me and uncle tried our best to make her cheerful. But she is not affected. I felt bad for her many times. How much she is loving her son and what she is getting in return?

I moved towards her and sat on my knee facing her. I slowly took her hands in mine.

"Aunty he will return back one day.. believe me.."I said.
"No Vaigha..he won't..he is not loving us...he forgot us completely." She said looking at me.

Tears are ready in her eyes to jump down any moment.

"If you continue thinking about him and cries like this, will he see this sitting in Banglore? You will fall sick aunty...Pls stop this.. atleast he is fine there..."I said.
"I know..he is not feeling the way we feel for him...he is not caring for us..I will be fine soon... Don't worry..."she said making me relieved.
"Ok you take rest...I will go for purchase and come back..you dont need to come with me in this state." I said and she was shocked.

"You alone?..no..you are not allowed to go outside alone.. Vaibhav and your Uncle will kill me..wait ..I will come with you..."she said.
"It's ok aunty..I am used to this place now...let me go alone pls..."I requested.
"Ok...but go with the driver..."she said and I nodded.

I kissed her cheek and waved her bye before starting travel with the driver.

Author's PoV
She was searching all shops in the market and bargaining with each shopkeeper. She didnt miss any single shop there and couldn't satisfy her needs.

"Maam can we go? It's already late...I will buy vegetables for you..."the driver asked who was accompanying her impatiently.

"Arey you don't know these people's tricks. They will betray us by selling bad vegetables..We should confirm that they are fresh before buying it..you don't know anything Ramu.. don't worry I will teach you.."she said and the driver gave her a disbelief look.

"But you didn't buy anything till now..why cant we go to some hypermarket?"he asked
"Ramu ..you go and have a tea..I will be back before you finish your tea..."she said handing over some money to him.

The driver became happy as he got money and sometime for refreshment. He walked away thanking her.

"Make sure the glasses are well cleaned before drinking your tea.."she shouted from back and he chuckled.

She again continued her purchasing. It's been one hour she started her searching and her basket is still empty. She decided to check the shops at the other side of the road. Sunlight was falling on her face since it's noon. She couldn't see anything because of the light and while crossing the road she heard a car horn. She looked at the side where sound was coming from. She didn't understand what it is and blinked her eyes. Next moment something dashed on her and she was soon on road with her head bleeding.

Vaibhav's PoV
I got tensed and started driving the car fastly. It was at the middle of a meeting I got a call from Amar. His voice was shivering and I confirmed something had happened that is going to scare me. I asked him many times wht happened exactly. But he didn't reply and only informed me to come home asap. I didn't think for a moment and cancelled the meeting. I rushed to the car.

What if Sanjana again became ill? That was the only thought wandering in my mind. To increase my scare, my mobile rang. I doubted whether to attend the call since it's only 5 minutes remaining to reach home. What if something happened and they are calling to inform me? I took the phone with shivering hands. Caller ID shown that its aunty calling. I pressed the receive button.

"Hello...Aunty..."I said.
"Vaibhav.... Vaigha didn't come back after going for shopping..I am getting scared."she said giving me another shock.

I stopped the car applying break suddenly.
"What????" I yelled.
"Yes..Vaibhu..Pls find out her...I dont know what to do..its 2 hours she had gone.... driver is saying he couldn't find her in the market...."she said as if she is crying.
"Ok calm down.. I will find her..."I cut the call.

Earth started shaking around me. I didn't have any idea what to do now.. Where did she go? If she again left me, definitely I would kill her. Suddenly I remembered about Sanju. I decided to check her first since I am near to my home. I drove the car fastly. I entered inside the main gate and got out of the car. I rushed to the hall only to see Amar, Arjun and Anjali discussing seriously.

I went to them.
"Where is Sanju?" I asked anxiously.
"She is inside."Anjali said.
"Bhai..."I heard Krithika coming out of the room and Sanjana coming beside her. I sighed in relief seeing Sanju.

I went to her and hugged her.
"Are you ok?"I asked in tension.
She gestured me that she is ok.

"Amar..why did you call me?"I asked.
"Bhai..go inside and take a look..."Arjun said.

Already I am tensed thinking about my wife and my brothers are making it difficult for me. Hesitately I went inside the room followed by them. I looked at the bed and shocked. I got my breathe back and sighed in relief.
There laying Vaigha with a dressing around her head. I can see red marks around the dressing which indicates she is wounded badly. She is laying with her eyes closed which made me worried.My heart broke seeing her in that condition.

"What's this?"I asked.
"Bhai..it was my mistake..I was driving the car..."Arjun said.
"What happened to her?"I asked holding his collar.
"We were going for a film together... since it's a short cut I took the way through the market. It was then this girl crossing the road...I was busy in talking and couldn't help ...the car hit her..her head...."he stopped.
"Why didn't you take her to the hospital?" I asked.
"We were scared..it's an accident case bhai..don't know what would be the formalities in hospital.. what if police arrest Arjun for hitting car on her?" Anjali asked and I left his collar.

"We immediately took her to here and called doctor... doctor dressed her wound...She is fine now...but...."Amar stopped.
"But what??"I asked anxiously.
"She lost her memory..."Krithika said scaring me.

I was Shocked and couldn't open my mouth.
"Yes bhai.. when she opened her eyes, we asked her who she is and her address...but she is not responding..I think the wound on her head affected her memory...She dont Know anything about her..."Anjali said and I froze there.

It took me sometime to be normal.
"Wait here...let me talk with her.."I rushed inside the room and locked the door from inside.

I went to her and started calling her.
"Vaigha... Wake up.. it's me your Vaibhav.."I called.

She opened her eyes struggling. I was tensed whether she lost her memory for real. Suddenly she hugged me crying.
"Do you remember me?"I asked.
"Vaibhav..."she called and I patted her back in relief.
"What happened" I asked wiping her face.
"I got hit by a car at market. I became unconscious..when I opened my eyes,I saw your brothers and sisters around me..I was tensed and didn't know what to do.. they started asking about my house and assured me that they will drop me there. I didn't speak..they came to a conclusion that I lost my memory."she said and I patted her.

"Dont worry...it's ok..your husband is here...I will manage..."I assured her.
"But how?"she asked confusingly.
"Is it hurting?" I asked slowly touching her wound.
She winced in pain And I removed my hand with a guilty feeling.
"I am sorry for my brother's careless driving... because of that you get hurted.."I said
"It's ok. He is my brother too...See..I am better now..."she tried to smile hiding all her pain.

On that moment I decided something. I am not going to stay away from her anymore for a single day. I took my phone out and dialled uncle's number.

"Hello uncle..don't worry.. Vaigha is with me..in my house...she will stay here from today onwards.. come here..."I said and ended the call without giving him a chance to respond.

I looked at the shocked face of my wife and smiled.
"Vaibhav.. how can I stay here?" She asked confusingly.
"This is your home too and ofcourse a wife should stay at the place where her husband is there.. don't worry thinking about anything...I will manage....you take rest..May be god intentionally given us a chance to make everything right through this accident.. trust me..I am here for you..."I said and her lips curved into a smile. A smile that can make my heart jump out in happiness every time.

I made her lay on bed and covered her with blanket. I went to open the door and saw so many anxious faces waiting for me.

"I called doctor and talked with him. He is an expert in neurology..he said that she might lost her memory due to the accident shock. It will take some days to relieve from the shock and she needs extra care for her fast recovery. So we should keep her here since we don't know her address or relatives.."I said and they looked at each other.

"But bhai...we don't know anything about her.. what if she is a thief or terrorist? How can we allow a complete stranger to stay here?" Amar asked.

He and his brain is sometimes irritating. I gritted my teeth.
"Yeah..that's true"Krithika supported him.
"No..she seems to be an innocent girl..."Anjali said.
"It's because of my mistake She lost her memory..I should take care of her.."Arjun said.
"He is right..lets wait for a few days. May be she will get her memory back within that time. I will ask one of my friend in police to investigate about her details secretly. He will help us to find her identity without making any harm to us.."I said and everyone finally agreed.

"Let her take rest..you go and do ur works..."I said and they dispersed.

After half an hour uncle and aunty came. I took them to the room where Vaigha is sleeping. I said them everything before she wake up. They were shocked.

"Aunty..."she called while waking up.
"Vaigha..."Aunty moved towards her and hugged her.
"I am sorry...If I was there with you, you wouldn't have happened anything. Forgive me for sending you alone..."Aunty said kissing her.
"No aunty.. Pls don't cry..you haven't done anything..."she said holding her hands.

"Vaibhav... what's your plan now?" Uncle asked.
"She will stay here....no one knows her identity..let it be like that...I am sure..I will get a chance to convince everyone and introduce her as my wife."I said confidently.

I looked at her who is sobbing. I gestured her to not cry and she fixed a fake smile on her lips.

"Are you sure Vaibhav? What if ...."I stopped him.
"No ifs and buts now..I decided it uncle.. Dont worry...she will be safe here.."I assured.
"Aunty... Uncle..I am getting scared.. How can I act infront of his brothers and sisters? "She asked with a tensed face.
"Don't worry dear..we all are here with you... let them love you even before knowing the truth. It's a good chance."Uncle said caressing her head and she nodded.

I moved towards her and sat beside her.
"If you don't mind, I am removing this wedding chain from your neck."I said and she was shocked.
"For what?" She asked.
"Now onwards you are not a married girl infront of my siblings. Its risk.."I said holding the chain in my fingers.

She immediately stopped my hand.
"Is it necessary to remove it? You said that it's a promise and don't remove.."she said.
"But Vaigha..."she stopped me.
"Pls...I will hide it and no one will see it."she said hiding the chain inside her shawl.
I smiled at her.

Vaigha's PoV
His sisters served tea and some snacks for me. Arjun already said a thousand sorry to me. He is still guilty. Sanjana was very friendly and didn't move away from me till now. Vaibhav was behaving like he dont know me. It irked me sometimes. Amar was watching my each and every move as if he is investigating me. I scared to look at Vaibhav in his presence.

"Did you really forget everything?" Krithika asked while sipping her tea.
I nodded.
"Krithika, stop talking... didn't bhai tell you to not stress her? Let her take rest and recover from this wounds first" Anjali warned looking at her.

I saw Sanjana continously looking at me.
"What happened?"I asked her.
She took her writing pad and wrote something in it. Then she showed it to me.
"You are very beautiful"I read it and smiled.
I caressed her hairs. She laughed like a kid.

"So she will be here till she get her memory back..."Amar said and everyone nodded.
"We don't know anything about her. What would we call her?"Amar asked.

Everyone is confused.
"What would we call you?"Anjali asked me.
"Anything you like"I said.
"We should name her...."Arjun announced.

Everyone started thinking.
"Pinky "Amar said
"Remember the name..let's name our new dog..."Arjun said.
"Rose..."Krithika told.
"Why not jasmine.. it's more beautiful..."Arjun teased.
"I have a name.."Anjali said.
"What's it?"others asked.
"Diya.."Anjali said and everyone gave her a sad expression.

It felt funny for me. Everyone is competing to name me. More and more suggestions came and they didn't satisfy. Vaibhav gave me a pity expression. I laughed. Suddenly Sanjana started hitting on table to get attention.

"Our baby doll has something to say."Amar said.
Sanju wrote something on her writing pad and showed it to us.
ANURADHA
I read it and the entire house became silent. I saw everyone lowering their eyes. Tears were seen on Anjali's eyes. I was confused. What happened suddenly????

"ANURADHA..its fixed...."Arjun said wiping away his tears standing from his seat.
"So from today you are Anuradha..."Anjali said and I smiled.

I saw Vaibhav with his eyes on floor. He is also sad.
"ANURADHA" I muttered my new name.
