Recap: Vaibhav trying to pacify her - Vaigha tensed - sharing doubts about Kishore to Vaibhav.

Vaigha couldn't handle it alone anymore. She was wandering in her room, scratching her head and taking water frequently. She was lost. Her hairs are flying in hair and face was pale. Her dress is all messed up and she is not caring about anything. She wanted to shout to the entire world that Vaibhav is her husband. But she has been seen helpless and lifeless. She lost her voice too.

It all started when Anjali broke the secret news in her ears at morning.

"Dont tell to anyone else...we are planning to conduct engagement of Bhai and Nandana soon..."Anjali said breaking Vaigha's heart.

His siblings were happy. Because their brother is getting married soon with a girl they likes. But no one could realize the pain they are giving to another heart who loves them all. She was unable to handle the news about her husband's engagement which he is not aware. She wanted to inform him. But as always he was busy. Atlast she had to bear all the pain alone. She tried to call his uncle and aunty too. But they were busy in shopping with their son. She slowly realized that she is alone now. Atleast till her husband comes.

She showed her anger on the pillows, bed sheet, and everything that comes her way. But the lifeless things couldn't console her back. Her heart ached, mind dead...but she have confidence that he will be with her whatever gonna happen. She held her wedding chain in her fingers and kissed it. She didnt cry...but her heart was asking her to cry to reduce the pain she is suffering.

She walked along all rooms in the house. She is not sure how many more days this house will provide her shelter. How many more days she can call this as her home too.

She saw the things his brothers are using... Which gave her unforgettable memories of her brother- sister moments with Amar and Arjun. She is relieved from the pain her brother gave her after meeting Amar and Arjun. She used to thank God for sending two responsible and loving brothers to her. It was the days when she realized what a real brother is. She knows that there is no need to born from same mother to get a brotherly hug. To feel secure as a sister. But nothing could experience from the man she thought as her brother even though he is not her blood. But she got more than she wanted from her twin bros. Sometimes they call her as their princess to make her happy which made Anjali and Krithika always jeolous. She used to enjoy all those moments. It was only at her, Amar used to not shout. She had a special place in all the hearts living here.

She thought about Krithika..she is the most naughty sibling for her. Initially Krithika didn't like her and used to taunt her with words and actions. Later she get to know about the loving nature Krithika hiding behind her naughty side. They always fight for silly things. But at the end, it was always Krithika who first ask her to smile and sort out things between them. She was a spoilt girl. But Vaigha loves her a lot. She remembered how her twin bros beated a guy who commented badly about her during their shopping. At that time Krithika also joined them and punched his stomach. Atlast they made him say sorry to her. She hugged them that day and cried happily. Even Vaibhav was too happy hearing it.

She went to kitchen where she shared a lot of moments with Anjali. Anjali is not like others. She is bold, serious and always think well before doing anything. She is matured and her maturity is an headache for others. She used to scold and advice her siblings which they hates. Anjali always behave nice with Vaigha. She used to console her and even promised her to find her family. They are more like friends. They won't leave anything in this world undiscussed while cooking together.

She then moved to her little sister's drawing room. She didnt feel her as mute till now. She can convey anything to her without speaking. That's the bond between Vaigha and Sanjana. Sanjana used to talk with Vaigha more than she do with anyone else. She always want Vaigha's lap to sleep. Her shoulder to cry whenever she is hurt. Her hands to wipe her tears and her arms to hug her whenever she was depressed. She gave Sanjana love and care of a mother and whatever she can give. They shared a special bond connected with hearts.

Tears were ready to flow down through her cheeks when she thought about leaving them. She is not sure about the fate of their relationship after the truth is revealed. She tried to be strong. But failed. She craved for someone's love when she was alone in her house. She was not scaring about anything when she stayed at the orphanage. But now, when surrounded by so many people's love and care, she is scared...scared of losing their love.. scared of losing relationships.... painfully she realized the truth that it's love which can break a person more than anything.

She sat on sofa once again getting busy with her thoughts.

Vaibhav's PoV
I am feeling not good today. Something is missing. I had a lot of meetings today. But had to cancel everything because of my bad state of mind. I wanted to talk with Vaigha at morning. But she was always surrounded by my brothers and sisters who needs her for everything. I was about to call her when my phone started ringing.

"Hai uncle...how the shopping is going on?"I asked seeing his caller ID.
"What's your decision about Vaigha?"he asked seriously making me confused.

I didnt understand anything. He seems to be very serious which is unfamiliar for me.

"Uncle...what happened?"I asked wiping my sweat face with the hand kerchief.
"She is my responsibility too..I can't let her down because of your confusions and dilemma...I was there whenever either you or your siblings need me...Now I think she needs me...Dont force me to take any hard step..." he said.

"Uncle.. can you please let me know what happened instead of showing your anger with words? Vaigha is my wife and I am more responsible in her matter..."I said.

"Yeah... that may be the reason why you are going to marry another girl infront of your wife...shame on you Vaibhav...."he shouted.

I was shocked. No words can express my current state now.
"Uncle..I won't.."I stammered.
"Your sister has called me a few minutes ago... Anjali..she asked me to look for a date for your engagement with that Nandana..what should I do?"he asked making me shocked once again.

"I didn't know about it..."I said.
"That makes no difference..it was always your siblings decide for you..and to not hurt them, you simply agree...I have only one request, Vaigha is a poor girl..Pls don't hurt her..."he said making me ashamed.

"Uncle..I will handle this....Pls understand me..."I said.
I heard no response.
"Uncle..Pls dont be angry at me... Believe me...I will take care of her.."I said.
"Vaibhav..I am not angry at you...do something before its too late...I don't know how your family reacts hearing the truth about your marriage...but if they came to know about it before taking a crucial step, may be it will help..."he said.

"Uncle..do Vaigha knows about it?"I asked.
"I hope she don't..."he replied.
"Ok ..let me deal it..."I said.
"Will meet you at evening...Dont feel bad thinking about my bad words..I want only best in your life..that's why .."I interrupted him.
"I know uncle ...you will do everything for my good only..."I said.
"Ok..bye..."he ended the call.

I don't know what to do..I wanted to talk with Vaigha..but don't want to hurt her by saying this. It's all because of me and why should she suffer?

I dialled Anjali's number.
She attended the call on the second ring.
"Bhai.."she seems to be very happy.
"Anjali...I have something important to tell you .."I said in a low tone.
"What happened Bhai? Your voice is so low...are you ok?"she asked with concern.

I was having an heavy headache and my body is really tired after speaking with uncle. My eyes were slowly getting blurred and I dont know what is happening to my body.

"I am..why did you ask uncle to look for an engagement date? You didn't feel to ask me for once before doing it.."I said.
"Bhai..I am sorry...I thought you will be happy with this decision.."she said with guilt.
"Pls Anjali...Pls don't force me from every side..Pls let me free for a while. I have some important business projects to be finished this year...I can't think about a marriage now ...and I have something else to let you all know about my life..."I said sternly.

"Bhai....we didn't intend to hurt you ..we thought you would be happy..."she said.
"Stop this Anjali ..I Know you are the master brain behind all this...pls leave me..."I shouted angrily and ended the call.

I was feeling dizzy. I layed on the table resting my head on table. I was hearing continous ringing on my phone. But my hands and legs couldn't move. It feels like I am chained. I closed my eyes feeling sleepy.

Vaigha's PoV
What happened suddenly? Why they are looking tensed and worried? It's not usual to see them like this.

It's been 3pm when Anjali returned back from office and she was looking so tired and angry. I tried to ask her what happened. But she didn't respond and was very quiet. After half an hour, Amar and Arjun returned back from office in an hurry. Krithika also joined them back from her studies and Sanjana was no where to be seen. She was resting on her room.

I wondered what made them so tensed? They started discussing and I heard only a few words from which I didn't understand anything. It was related to Vaibhav. I paid my attention to know the real matter but they were not ready to discuss anything with me. And I gave up since I have a lot of other issues to tense than this new one.

I made some coffee and filled a tray with some snacks. I took it and brought it to the hall where they are talking.
"It was your over excitement that made Bhai angry...I warned you to ask bhai before planning it."Amar said to Anjali who was sitting on sofa with her head in between her hands.

What?? Vaibhav angry at them?? I was wondered.... because I didn't see him angry at his siblings till now...wht made him angry? I was clueless. But the guilty face of Anjali said everything.

"Leave it Amar..she wanted to give a surprise to bhai..Who knew that it will end up like this?"Arjun said consoling Anjali.
"I am worried about Bhai...He is not attending our phone calls...he might be very angry.... otherwise he won't do like this.."Krithika said.

I couldn't handle it anymore. I placed the tray on the table and moved towards Anjali. I made her face me and cupped her face.
"What happened Anjali?"I asked seeing her sad face.
"Anu...I have done a big mistake...I asked uncle to find a date for engagement without asking Bhai's permission...he is very angry with me now..he shouted at me in phone...he is not attending our calls now..I am getting scared..."Anjali said and I didnt know how to react.

Did he shout at her? The Vaibhav I knows can't be angry at his brothers and sisters. And now.....

"Anjali... just calm down...he might be in bad mood today...that's why he shouted at you..I am sure... Everything will be ok soon... give him some time..."I said
"I don't have any problem if he shouts at me...or even if he slaps me...but I hurted him...that's killing me..I am the reason for his tension...I just want him back... that's all..."she said.

I looked at everyone and every face is saying how much they are worrying for their brother. Just then we heard his car horn and their happiness had no limits. Arjun rushed to the door and opened it. I saw Vaibhav entering with a tired face. His siblings gathered around him. Surprising me he didn't talk with them and moved towards the sofa. When we were looking at him, he suddenly collapsed to the sofa making us shocked.

"Bhai....."I heard them screaming and went to check him.

Anjali touched his forehead and withdrew her hand in shock.
"Bhai is having high fever...."she shouted.
"What???? Call the doctor..."I said loudly.

Within half an hour doctor came and started examining him. He is inside the room under doctor's observation and we are waiting outside the room. Uncle, Aunty and Kishore came hearing the news. Sanjana was crying continuously and I was consoling her. I wanted to cry too....but what is my right to cry for him? Atleast infront of them...

Suddenly the door opened and Doctor came outside.
"Doctor...what happened to bhai?" I saw Arjun asking with concern.
This is the first time I am seeing him in that helpless condition. They all love him a lot... more than anything in this world.

"He is having a bad fever...but dont worry...he is tired and need rest...I prescribed some medicines..... give him that and take care of him...he will be ok within a day.."Doctor said and left giving the medicines prescription.

We entered inside the room and saw him laying with his eyes closed. My heart broke seeing him like that. I wanted to go beside him and hug him. But before that his brothers and sisters occupied his both sides.

"Children..dont wake up him now..let him take rest..."Uncle adviced them and they nodded with a sad expression.

I went to kitchen holding my tears back and quickly took some water from refrigerator. I took a piece of cloth and went to his room again. My hands were shivering and I could only take small steps. I entered his room and moved towards the bed where he is laying. I dipped the cloth in the water and placed it on his forehead.

"Thank you..."Anjali said.

I smiled at her trying to control my inner feelings.

The whole night we all stayed in his room waiting for him to wake up. But nothing like that happened. He used to mutter something in his sleep because of the effect of sedatives. Anjali forced me to go sleep. But I couldn't... how can I sleep when he is not in his sense... sometimes he was shivering and we made him cover completely with blanket. The whole night passed like that.

Next Morning: Vaibhav's PoV
I tried hard to open my eyes and finally I succeeded. I blinked eyes many times to get a clear view. My body was aching badly. I saw Anjali and Krithika on my left side on the bed and Arjun and Amar on the right side in sitting position. They all are sleeping with a tired face. I felt sad seeing them like this.

I tried to get up. But I couldn't. I remembered how I fell down yesterday on the sofa losing my balance. I couldn't remember anything after that.

"Vaibhav..."suddenly I heard Vaigha's voice and turned face to the side where I heard her.

I saw her sitting on the floor with Sanjana on her lap. I saw tear marks on her face indicating she was crying the whole night. She was looking tired and lifeless. Her sleepy face told me that she didn't sleep the whole night.
Tears were flowing down her cheeks seeing me conscious. I want to console her. But my body didn't allow me to move.

"Vaibhav...."she called loudly this time.
"Bhai...."Others woke up hearing her.

Sanjana came to me and hugged me crying. I patted her back. The others followed. I hugged them. I saw someone still on floor crying without making noise. I know how hard for her to hold herself back.

"Hey listen...I am ok.... Dont cry...."I said consoling them.
"Bhai...are you fine now?" Krithika asked and I wiped her tears.
"What's this? My rowdy crying...no..no.."I hugged her.
"Bhai..I am sorry....it was all because of me you are not well now..."Anjali said looking down.
"Leave it Anjali....I am sorry for shouting at you .."I said realizing how much she is guilty.

"Children... whats this?? Give him some fresh air.."I saw Nandini aunty near the door with a tray filled with cups of tea.
"Did you forget what doctor told? Your bhai needs rest.. Dont disturb him..."Uncle said sipping his tea.

"I am ok kids...dont worry about me.."I said and they smiled.

Nandini aunty served tea for everyone and they had it relaxed.
"Here is your tea Vaibhu..."Aunty gave me a cup of tea.
Before I start having it, Vaigha stood up from floor.
"Vaibhav..wait... You need to have a tablet before having anything in morning...I will bring it..."she said leaving.

"Oh god.. I forgot about it... Yesterday doctor has informed us about that tablet...thank God.. Anuradha remembered..."Anjali sighed.

A few minutes later, I saw Vaigha coming with that tablet. I took it from her hand and had it along with the tea. I saw her worried face and gestured her that I am ok. She smiled. But I know she is still crying inside.
I want to hold her and make her understand that I am ok. But....

"Children..why can't you allow him to rest for some more time?"Uncle asked.
"Bhai...you take rest..but we are not going anywhere..we will be here beside you..."Arjun said like a kid.
"Yes...bhai..you should have to rest.. doctor said it.."Amar said.
"I am ok now..why can't you all sleep for sometime? I know that no one have slept yesterday properly.."I said looking at Vaigha too..

"It's ok bhai..we can't go away from you...you pls sleep and we will be here"Anjali said.
"You have no idea how much we scared yesterday..."Krithika said sadly.

I was very tired. So decided to sleep for some more time. They covered me with the blanket and I fell into sleep soon.

At Night
Vaigha was feeling uneasy. She saw Anjali feeding soup to Vaibhav who is still in the bed. His fever reduced. But he is looking tired and not completely ok. As per doctor's advice, no one allowed him to get up from bed for once. He is having a bad body pain as part of his fever. His brothers and sisters were always with him inside the room. They didnt stayed away from him as they all were worried. Vaigha's condition was not different.

Her husband is ill and she wanted to take care of him. She wants to hug him, feel him and confirm that he is perfectly ok. But she couldn't even talk with him for once. The room was always crowded with his siblings and they were around him 24 hours to take care of him. Sometimes she wished to break all barriers and wrap her husband with a warm hug. But she was chained with so many feelings and concerns. On the other hand he also wished the same many times.

"Its enough Anjali...I can't have more..."Vaibhav said moving the soup bowl away from him.
"No bhai...you need to have it completely... otherwise you cant get up from bed...your body pain will increase if you don't have energy..."Amar said and Arjun nodded.

Probably the first time he is agreeing with his twin brother. Vaigha had a slight smile in between her pains seeing it. It didn't get unnoticed by her husband.

"It's having no taste...Pls don't force me..."Vaibhav said giving an expression.
"It's because you are not well..."Anjali said.
"I am not going to have this tasteless soup anymore..."he declared.
"Vaibhav..pls.. it's for your good health....Pls have a little more..."Vaigha requested seeing her husband not having food like a kid.

Vaibhav saw her pleading face and didn't say anything more. He had finished the entire soup in the bowl. Anjali helped him to wash his mouth.

"I want to sleep now.. you guys go and sleep...good night.."Vaibhav said.
"I will sit here.. what if you need something at midnight."Arjun said.
"I can manage now.. see..you guys didn't sleep yesterday too..I think you will fall sick soon....I can't see you in trouble.. so go to your room... otherwise I wont sleep...lets see who will win this battle...."Vaibhav said sternly.

"Such a stubborn kid...ok we will go...but if you need anything, pls call us.."Anjali said standing up.
"Of course..."Vaibhav nodded.
"Good night bhai..."they said good night.

Vaigha didn't feel to go making him alone in the room. She stood there facing him when Anjali caught her hands.
"Come Anuradha...let's go now..let him take rest..."Anjali dragged her out of the room.
She looked at Vaibhav one last time before going out. He smiled at her assuring her.

Hours passed and it's midnight now. Vaigha couldnt sleep till now. Her mind was still revolving around her husband who is not well. She pulled out the blanket and slowly got up from bed without disturbing his sisters who are sleeping peacefully on her both sides. She came out from the room and started walking to her husband's room.

She saw Vaibhav sleeping well. She entered inside and closed the door behind her. She went to his bed and smiled. She kissed her forehead. She couldn't control her tears anymore and Vaibhav opened his eyes with great difficulty feeling a tear drop on his cheek. He saw her infront of him and couldn't believe his eyes.

"Vaigha...you..."he was about to speak but she stopped him by putting her finger on his lips.

She started sobbing and he became alert. He smiled and pulled her to his chest. She hugged him letting her all emotions out. He kissed her forehead and patted her back.

"Its ok Baby...I m fine now..."he said.
"But I am not...do you know how much I scared?"she asked weeping.

He couldn't afford her tears anymore. He pulled her completely to him and now she is on top of him. She looked at their position and was shocked.
"Now I am feeling more better."he said making her smile.
He pulled the blanket over them and wrapped his arms around her waist.
She touched his forehead and neck to feel the temperature.
"You are still having temperature.. should I call the doctor? "she said.
"No need..I got my personal doctor now..."he said chuckling.

She was surprised.
"Did you miss me?"he asked and again she lost her control over tears.
"Do you know how much I missed you? You have no idea..you were with me in the same room...but standing like a stranger when my husband is ill...it's really pathetic Vaibhav..."she said and he wiped her tears.
"So sorry..my heart was craving for you....I wanted to hold you... but..."he paused.
"I love you... don't go away from me.. Today I understood that I can never stay away from you..."she said emotionally.
"Who told you that I will let you stay away from me? Now I have strength to fight with the entire world for you....for our love...I love you Mrs... more than myself...."he said kissing her palm.

He kissed her forehead. And she closed her eyes. The next second she kissed him all over his face. On his eyes, nose, forehead, ears and cheeks. He held her tightly completely feeling her. She opened her eyes and was about to pull back when he joined their lips. They kissed passionately feeling all their love. When she was out of breathe, he broke the kiss. She looked down in shy.

Suddenly he started coughing. She became worried.
"Vaibhav..."she cupped her face.
"Its ok..I am alright..."he said kissing her shoulders.
"Do you want water?"she asked and he shook his head.
"Do you want me to call the doctor? I am getting scared.."she said with concern and he held her cheeks.
"Dont worry baby...I am perfectly ok.."he said and she shook her head in disbelief.

He rolled and now she is under him on bed.
"What should I do to make you believe that I am alright?"he asked and his head immersed into her neck placing wet kisses there.
She closed her eyes holding his hair. He intertwined their fingers together making her shiver.
"Good that you closed the door.."he whispered into her ears making her blush.

He looked into her deep eyes. She bit her lips. He moved his fingers over her lips. He kissed her forehead, nose, then cheeks before tasting her lips once again. She moaned. He bit her lower lip and she pinched his arm. He smiled and smooched the place where he bit. Slowly they lost into each other's love.

He pulled the blanket over them so that it covers them completely. He loved her the whole night claiming her as his.

Probably one of the longest chapter I have ever written. Keep enjoying.

I want to do complete justice to my story by including all the tracks I planned. If you want to reveal the truth infront of siblings so early (it's too late,I know), I have to end the story too soon. Because that's the way this story is going on. I want you all to wait patiently for the story moves on its track. If I have hurted anyone's feelings with any of the reference in this book, it's not intentional and extremely sorry for it.
