The journey to Luoyang was quieter than expected. One by one everyone dozed off in the plane and before they knew it there had reached their destination. After the formalities at the air port they finally reached the hotel. Even though they had slept in the airplane, 6 hours journey was no joke so the elderly decided to take another nap.

Qi Pei Xin, Guo Cheng and Cao Jun Xiang already ventured out to explore. Cao Yue Chen and Xuan Lu went on a date, they wanted to visit the famous Peony Garden together.

Zhuocheng didn't show any interest in going anywhere so he went back to his room, still aggressively texting someone. While Xiao Zhan was reluctant to go anywhere, he reminded himself that this might be the only time he steps again in Luoyang, so taken the opportunity he decided to visit Luoyang Museum.

After a journey of 20 minutes from the hotel, Xiao Zhan finally spotted the Museum. All those years ago, when Wei and Jiang family got together for Zhuocheng's birthday, the reason they chose Luoyang was because Xiao Zhan insisted on seeing this particular Museum. Had he known what lied in the future, he never would have begged stubbornly to come to this place. But just like the rest, he was also once an innocent child.

The Museum was still the same, although the 9 years old Xiao Zhan couldn't remember much from back then, there were art pieces that he could never forget. For example, the Jin Dynasty Gold Seals. There was a familiar one in the Jiujiang Museum, where Xiao Zhan once went on a date with Wang Yibo.

"Zhan ge, Do you know this seal is called 'Seal of Guanzhoung'?

"You seem to have done your research." Xiao Zhan raised his eyebrow, he never expected Wang Yibo to know of such a thing.

"Of course, I wanted to impress you."

Wang Yibo claimed, didn't hide the fact that he really did study about the artifacts beforehand.

"Really? Then why don't you be my guide today?"

Xiao Zhan teased Wang Yibo, testing his knowledge. He was more than aware that history was Wang Yibo's weakest subject and he rather play on his skateboard than study.

"This way, Sir."

Wang Yibo pretended to be prime as he led his tourist with out most respect. He guided Xiao Zhan towards a beautiful looking pot, with zig zag pattern on it.

"This, my good Sir is from Neothilic time period."

"You mean, Neolithic?" Xiao Zhan corrected.

"It's basically the same thing, sir. Don't mind such small details."

Wang Yibo didn't let go of the air of confidence around him. He guided Xiao Zhan towards the next artifact. It was horse made in Jade stone.

"Do you know, why Jade is considered an important stone in Ancient China, Sir?" Wang Yibo was homing the rule of the guide and Xiao Zhan was playing along, pretending not to know a thing.

"No, dear guide, please enlighten me."

"In Ancient China, Jade was considered the symbol of Perfection and Nobility." Wang Yibo carried the air of connoisseur, like a fine scholar.

"Is that so? But did you know there was another meaning to it?" Xiao Zhan nodded his head in acknowledging all the information, Wang Yibo was providing. Whether it was accurate or not was upto debate.

"There is another meaning behind it?" The Guide Yibo asked.

"In Ancient China, the jade was considered to be the essence of Heaven and Earth. That's why it was among the most expensive stones." Xiao Zhan provided. Wang Yibo only nodded his head in understanding, then he suddenly realized.

"Hey!! How come you know more than me? I am your guide not the other way around!" Wang Yibo huffed his cheeks.

Xiao Zhan laughed at this cute reaction

"No dear guide, please continue to direct me. I need your humble guidance."

And The Guide Wang Yibo begun again, taking Xiao Zhan from one artifact to another, introducing the history behind them, completely unaware that he was mis-pronouncing a lot of words. From time to time, he would peek inside the tiny note book he prepared beforehand to make sure he was telling the right thing. Xiao Zhan couldn't help but laugh at his adorable behavior.

After the long hours in Museum they were resting in the park near by. Wang Yibo had his head on Xiao Zhan's lap. While Xiao Zhan was massaging his hair.

"You have worked hard today, dear guide." Xiao Zhan teased the lion cub who looked too exhausted after his adventure.

"Zhan ge, don't tease me, I know I made a lot of mistakes." Wang Yibo didn't even have the energy to pout.

"At least, you won't fail in history now." Xiao Zhan poked those bubbly cheeks.

"I don't get it why we even need to study what dead people did thousands of years ago." Wang Yibo captured the poking finger and guided it back to his hair.

"If it weren't for those dead people thousands of years ago then we wouldn't be here thousands of years later." Xiao Zhan resumed to massage his hair because he knew, Wang Yibo had stopped listening.

"Do you know there's a museum in Shanghai where they display Legos?"

Hearing that Wang Yibo sprung open his eyes and immediately sat up to get full information.

"Really? A museum of Legos!!?"

"Em hm. There is annual exhibition every spring."

"Wow! Zhan ge let's go there this time!" Wang Yibo excitedly suggested.

"When the time comes, we will go there." Xiao Zhan agreed. He may or may not have hidden the fact that Lego Museum only display the ancient Chinese palaces not some cool robotic toys.

Xiao Zhan could still hear his excited voice lingering in his ears, if only he could put the face into the image. Or maybe he didn't want to remember that face. His habit of looking down while walking had gotten better, but he still feared not to look at people, afraid of seeing someone unexpected.

Indeed, the eyes speak when tongue can't. He should have focused on it. Maybe then he might be able to find a justification behind his actions. Xiao Zhan rubbed his abdomen, the pain was still there, a memento of the past.

"I need to drink water."

Xiao Zhan made his way out of the museum to the closest tuck shop, he got himself big bottle of water and some haw flakes. He was still eating while witnessing the sky around him when his phone rang. He looked at the caller ID and immediately picked up.

"Jiyang Uncle!"

"Zhan gege it's me!"

"Oh! Xuan Xuan."

"Hmph! Don't talk to me, I am mad."

"Alright, then I will end the call."

"WAIT! WAIT! WAIT!......Gege you're so mean."

"So why Xuan Xuan is angry?"

"Dad told me that you are in Luoyang, How could you leave me behind? Am I not your favorite sister?"

"Hmmm who was the one who promised to visit me but ditched me for her friends?"

"Gege that was so long ago, you are still mad at me for that. I apologized already."

"Of course, I am mad, I specially baked the cake for your birthday."

"Well, that time...'Xuan's crush invited her so she went with him'......Papa!!! how could you say that?"

"XuanXuan, you were in the junior high and you already had a crush?" Xiao Zhan asked flabbergasted when he heard Li Bowen's voice from behind.

"Gege!!! I am a girl, of course I would get a crush or two."

"You're a not even a teenager and you're talking about crushes."

"Papa, this is why I told you to not say anything to Gege, look how he's scolding me."

'Jiyang doesn't let me scold you at least there should be someone who does.'

"Hmph!!! I am not talking to you either."

"Xuan Xuan if you fight with your papa, then I won't bring present for you."

"Gege, you're playing dirty."

"It is not playing dirty, it is called revenge."

"Fine, but you better bring me good makeup products."

"M-make up? Xuan Xuan, are you at the age of putting make up, you're only 10. Shouldn't I get you some toys instead."

"Zhan Gege, are we living in the cave era? Girls in my class already wear make up."

Xiao Zhan was having a hard time adjusting. Was the world moving too fast or he was too slow? But his adorable sister is merely 10, how come she's talking like a model of a famous agency?

"I will still buy toys for you."

"Zhan GEGE!!!" Chen Zhuo Xuan wailed from the other line while Xiao Zhan could hear Li Bowen laughing at her too.

"Alright, Alright, I will buy make up for you. Where is Jiyang Uncle?"

"Dad is in the kitchen, preparing the meal. Oh right, I forgot, I was supposed to help him. I will call you later, Bye Gege! Love you!"

"Love you too, Take care!"

With that, Xiao Zhan put his phone back in his pocket and returned to the hotel. The kids had already returned by then, Zhuocheng was still in his room while Liu Jian Min and Zhang Jing Tong had also woken up.

"A-Zhan, you finally came, now hurry up and load these to the car." Liu Jian Min handed Xiao Zhan some baskets and directed him towards the rental car.

"Okay." Xiao Zhan took the baskets and one by one loaded them. Xuan Lu and Cao Yue Chen returned with another car and called the kids to get inside. After helping Xiao Zhan loading all the baskets, the trio sat in the car.

"A-Zhan, call A-Cheng from his room so we can go out." Zhang Jing Tong said as she checked if they aren't missing something. The family was planning on going to a park and barbecue there. Cao Yue Chen had already taken the kids and his wife in the other car while Uncle and Aunt Jiang were waiting for Zhuocheng to come down.

Xiao Zhan knocked the door of Zhuocheng's room and few seconds later the door opened, revealing a pale looking Cheng.

"A-Cheng, is everything alright?" Xiao Zhan couldn't help but ask.

"Ah, yes Gege, I am fine."

"Are you sure? You seem to be in a foul mood."

"I can't hide anything from you, can I? *Sigh* It's nothing important, just someone is bugging me."

"Oh? Do you want me to have a look?"

"NO!...I mean, I can handle it. Don't worry."

"...Okay! Freshen up, we are going for barbeque."

"Mn, you go ahead, I will be right behind."

With that Xiao Zhan went inside the car, he found it suspicious that Zhuocheng was hiding something, But if he didn't want to share, he wouldn't push him.

"I will just watch out for you." Xiao Zhan mumbled to himself.

They were already sitting in the car and Xiao Zhan remembered to update the Psychiatrist

XZ: Are you there?

Doc: Always here.

Xiao Zhan didn't like his cheesiness or maybe he's been keeping his guard up for too long that it felt weird to him?

Doc: Are you alright? Did anything happen?

XZ: Yes, I am alright, we are going out to have barbeque.

Doc: Now I am hungry.

Xiao Zhan smiled at the reply.

XZ: We can have barbeque together if you want to.

Only after Xiao Zhan had sent the text, he realized what he had suggested. It sounded like an invitation to a date.

Crap! Did I say something wrong? Why isn't he replying? Xiao Zhan thought to himself. Only after bunch of minutes the reply came.

Doc: Of course!! My treat!

Xiao Zhan heaved a sigh of relief, If thing became awkward between the two, Xiao Zhan would not be able to get treatment normally.

XZ: We are already talked about this. You are already not charging me for treatment so I will be responsible for food.

Doc: Alright, I admit defeat.

Xiao Zhan smiled at the reply. The doctor acted like he's a big deal but with Xiao Zhan he's too submissive.

XZ: You distracted me, I was going to ask for your advice.

Doc: My bad, so how can I help?

XZ: It's my brother, he's been acting weird, I am worried about him.

Doc: Weird how?

XZ: He's been texting someone and he doesn't look happy about it.

Doc: Oh!

XZ: What do I do?

Doc: Don't push him, he might get agitated. Wait for him to open up, in the meantime, make sure he eats plenty of nutrients.

Doc: The last part also applies to you.

XZ: I will do my best, thank you Dr.Liu.

Doc: You are always welcome.

By that time, Wang Zhuocheng already arrived and sat in the car. Xiao Zhan noticed that he had not taken his phone with him which was a good thing in a way. Long before they reached the famous Luoyang park. Xuan Lu had already set the mat on the fresh grass. While the trio were helping Cao Yu Chen in building the fire for the barbeque.

Zuoheng and Xiao Zhan unloaded the baskets and carried them towards their sister.

"A-Xian, A-Cheng, put these here." Xuan Lu guided her brothers. Soon enough the whole family begun to prepare the meal. Everyone had their own task to do, the three siblings were responsible for setting the table, the three elders were responsible for cooking the meat while the three kids were responsible for well...sitting down quietly.

"Uncle Zhan!! Look what I found!" Qi Pei Xin called his uncle to look at the discovery he made.

"That's a bug." Guo cheng said not understanding the fuss about it.

"Not just any bug, it's a mantis." Qi Pei Xin boasted.

"And?" Cao Jun Xian asked.

"There's no and, I found The Mantis." Qi Pei Xin huffed.

"There are plenty of those in Jun's backyard." Guo Cheng said.

Xiao Zhan joined the trio who were digging tiny holes in the grass while waiting patiently for the food.

"A-Xin, you are my nephew your discovery shouldn't be any less than a golden beetle."

"Golden beetle!!!" The trio exclaimed.

"But that's so rare, even you must not have seen it, right?" Pei Xin said. But when Xiao Zhan gave them a smirk, they all gasped in excitement.

"You have seen a golden beetle!!"

"Of course."

[Flashback]

"Zhan ge!!! Save me!!!"

The panicked pleas of younger made Xiao Zhan leaped in his steps and ran towards him.

"What happened Yibo?! Calm down and tell me!"

Xiao Zhan cupped Wang Yibo's face and made him look at himself. His brown oracles were glistened with un-shed tears. His pulpy lips were curled up adorably. While his shoulders were raised high defensively.

"Z-zhan ge...it's on my back...take it off."

Like dew drops, the tiny droplets of tears, streamed down his cheeks. Seeing a familiar figure, he let down his guard and hugged the elder for support.

"What is on your back?" Xiao Zhan asked as he peeked at the back of younger. The two were having a study date in a park. Xiao Zhan went to buy refreshments for the two and hearing Wang Yibo's cry for help made him return back foot.

"It's a bug..."

Pfft Xiao Zhan wanted to laugh, The Wang Lion Yibo was afraid of bugs but he held it in.

"Aiyo!!! Bo-di, it's not just a bug, it's a huge Insect." Yes, that didn't stop Xiao Zhan from teasing his boyfriend. The younger begun to shake and curl into Zhan's embrace even more as if hiding from the world.

"Zhan ge! Take it off! Take it off!"

"Aiya Aiya, you need to calm down first, how can I take it off if you keep shaking like this?"

Instantly Wang Yibo stopped moving, he even held his breath. Xiao Zhan took his sweet time, taking off the bug, if wasn't anything horrifying just a caterpillar.

"It's gone."

Only then did Yibo let go of his breath. Seeing how cutely he was clinging into him, Xiao Zhan couldn't help but smile.

"Thank you Zhan-ge." Wang Yibo let go immediately, only getting embarrassed by his reaction. He never wanted to let Xiao Zhan see his uncool side but he always managed to do exact that.

"Zhan-ge?"

"Hmm?"

"Y-you aren't disappointed in me, right?" Wang Yibo asked weakly.

Xiao Zhan took a minute to observe his face then put his finger on his chin.

"It is pretty lame to be afraid of bugs." Of course, how could Xiao Zhan not take advantage of the cuteness before him. He knew how to savor every opportunity.

The air around Wang Yibo only grew heavy, he looked like he was sulking. Xiao Zhan was trying his best to suppress his laugh.

"I-I am...n-not ...afraid of ..b-bugs.."

Xiao Zhan was pinching himself not to crack up.

"If you're not afraid of bugs then you can go to bug hunting with me, can't you?"

All the colors of Wang Yibo's face disappeared. He was still like a statue. Xiao Zhan ended up laughing at once.
"Alright, alright, I was just joki-"

Before Xiao Zhan could finish his sentence, Wang Yibo got up abruptly and went towards the nearest tree. Xiao Zhan thought he got mad so he immediately followed him but then Wang Yibo crunched down under the tree and begin to dig a hole.

His shoulders were trembling from fear but he was still persisting. Xiao Zhan couldn't help but admire that, so he decided to ease the little guy then suddenly came a scream.

"Ahhhhhhh!!! Zhan-ge!!! Save me!!!"

Xiao Zhan immediately rushed towards him and caught the little thing which was scaring his lion cub. Wang Yibo instantly hid behind Xiao Zhan while Xiao Zhan examined the little creature.

"Zhan-ge, throw it away! Throw it away!!" Wang Yibo pleaded while clutching like a Koala bear for his dear life.

"Wow, Lao Wang! You are so great! This is your first bug hunting and you already hit a jackpot. I am so jealous."

"W-what do you mean?"

"Do you see this creature?" Xiao placed it front still keeping a distance for the younger to see.

"It's a b-beetle." Wang Yibo recognized.

"Not just any beetle Lao Wang, it's the Golden Beetle, one of its kind. You truly are talented I should bow down to you."

"Zhan ge!! Just take it away."

"Beetles like this are hard to find, do you really want me to take it away?" Xiao Zhan purposely brought the beetle closer to Wang Yibo, who leaped backward in fear.

"Zhan ge!!!"

"Alright, alright, I will set it free." Xiao Zhan said and placed the beetle back on the tree trunk.

"Fly little one." Xiao Zhan said and went back to his boyfriend. The two walked hand in hand down the street. Completely forgetting about their studies.

Xiao Zhan told the kids about his discovery of Golden Beetle, he skipped few details. The trio were sulking.

"Why did you set it free?" Guo Cheng pouted.

"You could have kept it and showed us." Cao Jun Xian joined.

"You guys were still in diapers when I found that, how did you expect me to keep that?"

"You could have clicked a picture at least." Qi Pei Xin also pouted.

Xiao Zhan laughed at the three sulking baby ducks.

"Everyone dinner is ready!"

They were distracted by the call for food and everyone immediately lightened up. They sat around the fire and give themselves to the lovely night.
