Can you feel my heart beating, underneath this flesh.

Can you feel my skin heating,
underneath your breath.

Can you feel my lungs collapsing,
in the cage of my ribs.

Can you feel stars colliding,
underneath your fingertips.

This is some of my best writing and I'm really proud when I produce poems like this. In the future I'll probably assemble my best poetry in a "Best of: when we wake up" book. Because I feel like this poetry collection is all over the place, and there are some poems that are a lot better than others.
