Like pins and needles but louder and neverending

Numb
Like the ringing in my ears after you threw my insecurities back at me like insults.

After you first made me spill my soul and told me that fixing things
were your speciality.

Numb
Like the realization that people are two-sided like coins
but less shiny
And rarely as valuable

Numb
Like the unchangeable fact that this is all infinite.

And so are we.
