I have no idea

Why I tried so hard

To believe in feelings I did not feel

To return love I did not receive

To plant seeds that did not grow

To give you hope that was hopeless

To love you because you loved me

Because I thought that I had to

Because I felt creeping guilt whenever  you showed me affection

Because I had learned that if someone said they loved me it was rude to not say it back

Because fairytale love is the only love there is.

Right?
