Jai shifted his eyes from the computer when he saw Vennela entering the cabin.

"Had a good time ?" He asked smiling.

"Yes..Anya gave me company since she was free for sometime"

"Good... do you want something to eat ?"

"No, bava. That masala dosa was heavy"

"Enti heavy ? ( what heavy ?) You ate so less"

She pouted.

He pulled a chair beside him and gestured her to sit.

"Yes bava ? You want something to drink ? Tea, coffee or juice ? I'll bring"

"No. I'm fine. How did everything go ?:

"Everything went well. I really enjoyed walking in the garden😍"

"You always love that right ...☺" he smiled shaking his head.

"Yes. One thing i love about visiting here is the cool and green atmosphere of the plants among all these chaos of work. For the first time i came here, i got astonished seeing the amount of different varieties of plants you've brought"

"Amma used to love gardening, so automatically i joined her in gardening sessions. Remember the mango tree in our backyard ? Amma and me together planted it when i was 10 years old"

"Awww.. thats so sweet bava 😍..I didnt know about that"

"I'll tie swing on there for our babies"

She blushed when he mentioned about kids and it didn't go unnoticed by him.

"Umm...bava... ?"

"Yes ..cheppu (tell) bangaram"

"How many babies are you planning ?"

She lowered her lashes fidgeting the ends of her dupatta

"Atleast five" Jai smiled followed by a small smirk.

"Amma !!! Five ah ?😳 Do i look like i can bear five babies ? Am i a baby making machine ?"

"You look like you can bear atleast a ten babies. And yes, my personal baby deliverer😉" He gave his signature wink.

Her eyes widened and she hit him lightly on his arms, the blush not leaving her cheeks.

"You're so bad"

"Yeah im your bad boy😋"

"Notorious much"

"You love it right ?.... btw ...Uh..met kishore ?"

She raised her eyebrows in surprise.

"You haven't left that still, bava ?"

"Met him or not ?"

"Saw him working. But we didnt talk"

"Better"

She pulled his moustache gently.

"Ouwww.. now you are becoming so notorious"

"I've all the rights... and its nothing compared to the hickeys you gave on my whole body" She whispered.

"Hello madam ? You were not any less. My body is also covered in it"

"Couldnt you talk in a low tone ? 🤨"

"No" He chuckled earning a glare from her.

Jai shifted his eyes back to the screen and was typing something seriously. Vennela looked around taking in the view of his cabin.
He loved white so everything was painted in white and there was a long wall shelf containing so many books neatly arranged - many of them relating to architecture while there were few fictional novels too.

"Bangaruu...is it boring ?" He asked while typing.

"No...." she watched him admiringly doing his work.

Vennela knows that he was so passionate about his job and she couldnt help while stealing glances at him while he was working.

Because he looks even more sexy...what ???

"Am i that much fascinating ?" He shifted his eyes from the screen to her giving a naughty look.

"Who said that i was looking you ? I was looking those curtains. Its so good. We have to buy this one for our room too ..right bava ?😅"

"Hmm hmm...dont i know you Mrs. Vennela Jai Dev Raju ..😂"

She bit her tongue and shivered lightly when he called her full name in his baritone.

"What do you know about me ?"

"A lot..." he got up from his chair and leaned forward pinning her to the chair she was sitting.
Her eyes widened.

"Ba..va...what is this...? Someone might see...😳"

she looked around cautiously while Jai made her face him holding both her cheeks with his right hand which automatically made her pout.

"I know a lot about you....even that tiny mole on your right bre...." she covered his mouth abruptly, the blush creeping her cheeks.

"Neeyabba !!! you are so naughty, bava. Is this a place to talk these ?😑"

"Then you find a place ... maybe i should lock my cabin from inside"

She gave a pinch on his abs.

"Ouch !"

"Chaala ekkuvaga maatladutunnaru" ( you are talking a lot )

He inched closer to her lips while she moved his face to the other side with her palm and gave a small kiss on his cheek.

"Please...atleast not here da.."

"Okay. I'll take you back at home😌" He resumed his works.

She shook her head smiling and took her phone to check messages. She replied back to all of them. After sometime , she felt sleepy and dozed off on the chair.

Time was around 12.00 PM and Jai who was completely engrossed with works took a break feeling tired and that was when he remembered about his wife.

"Bangaru ...." he looked and saw her already sleeping like a baby.

He facepalmed himself for being occupied with his works forgetting her.

Jai didnt want to wake her up because he knew that she didnt get much sleep yesterday. He scooped her up gently in his arms and placed her on the big sofa and covered her properly with the dupatta.
She made a pout in sleep which he found so cute and irresistable so ended up giving a peck on her lips.

"May i come in, sir ?" It was Rajesh.

"Yes..."

He came in with few files and passed it to Jai.

"Sir, files for signing"

Jai nodded starting to read it and signing each.

Rajesh looked at Vennela, sleeping.

"Sir, ma'am slept off ?"

"Yeah..she was tired"

"Have you brought lunch ?"

"No. we will have from the canteen"

"Shall i arrange it there ?"

"No worries, Rajesh. We will go and have there☺" Jai smiled at him.

Rajesh was someone who was with Jai ever since his company started. They were more like friends. He was a genuine person and Jai trusted him. In his absence, Rajesh used to look after office without bringing any complaints or problems. He was married and had two kids.

He went after taking the files back.

Time : 1.30 P.M

Jai kept his specs on the table and checked the time. Vennela was sound asleep.
He sat beside her and smiled caressing her hair.
With so much of hesitation, he tried calling her.

"Bangaruu...wake up...."

"Mmm..." she continued sleeping holding his palm.

"Let's go have lunch. Wake up da"

She opened eyes slightly adjusting her vision and saw her smiling husband.

Suddenly Vennela sat up.

"Ayyo ..bava... since when i was sleeping ?"

Just few minutes before you fell asleep.

"No bava.. its been hours😟" She panicked.

"Arey dont worry. Everything is alright here. Come lets have lunch"

"I'm sorry bava"

"Why baby ? There is nothing to be sorry about. I should be sorry because you didnt get any sleep yesterday"

"It's okay. I'm fine. Come let's go" She adjusted her dupatta and hair before walking to the canteen with him.

As lunch time was ending, only 3..4 staffs were in the canteen, rest of them had already gone back to their cabin.

He made her sit on a chair.

"What do you want to eat, baby ?"

"Umm..what are you having?"

"Just a simple Hyderabadi meal"

"Then I'll also have that"

He smiled and went to place orders.

"Mmm...this pappu koora is so good, bava..taste it"

"Yeah...true..its good..but its nothing compared to your food"

"Do you really love the food i cook or saying for my happiness ?😗" She pouted cutely.

"If its not good then i wont eat it. If its good then I'll eat it. If its extraordinary, then I'll lick the plate clean.
Your food belongs to the third category"

She blushed lightly.

"You are exaggerating too much🙈"

"And my lady is enjoying these too much"

Vennela shook her head smiling and continued to eat her food.

"Bangaruu... will you make mango pudding for me at home ?"Jai asked out of a blue.

"Yes...i will make. Why suddenly ?"

"I just missed having it. Only once you've made it in village and i was in heaven when i tasted it"

"That's because the mangoes are fresh and organic in our village. We wont get this much fresh mangoes in the city no"

"Maybe that's also one reason. No problem as long as it is made by your hands"

"As you wish, bava. I love when you really ask me to prepare what you love"

"I'll ask" He winked.

They finished the lunch soon and headed back to his cabin.

After watching some videos and news in phone, Jai resumed his works while Vennela caressed the books on his shelf.

She took out a photo frame in which Jai was in his college days and receiving award for the best student. She smiled wide and looked at him.

Without disturbing Jai, Vennela took out a novel which was supposed to be some romantic fiction novel.

Jai took glances at her while going through the files...all his mind was distracted towards his lady who was engrossed in reading the novel.

She kept her hair towards one side of the shoulder and kept on smiling and biting her lips frequently.

Jai frowned seeing the book getting all the attention than him.

What's so interesting in it..that she is blushing a lot..

He saw that she has covered almost half the book.

He swayed lightly in his chair and kept away the file. Time was around 4 pm.

Taking light steps towards her, which she failed to notice, he grabbed the book from her hands frowning.

"Bava...what are you doing ? Give me that" She whined irritated.

"What's taking your attention in this ? Let me see too"

He opened the book, his eyes roving through the lines.

6 months of their marital life was bliss. He treated his wife like a queen . His arrogant nature was all gone. And to put an end to her wait , he stopped his business.

The same day she shared a precious news .

'You got to be kidding ,Evelyn. Are you really ??...'

He could not complete his words. His voice quavering with wonder.

She nodded her head keeping his hand over her belly. Yes . A small life was growing inside her.

'I'm going to be a father...'

He cried in ecstasy . Steven was beatific. His smile broadening into a deep , hearty laugh of joy , exploding with enthusiasm which she could not muster. Never had she seen him this happy.

He smothered her face with kisses and leaned forward to kiss her belly. She ruffled his hair seeing her husband more like a kid.

' I love you ...I love you both . Thank you so much baby '

He too smiled reading it and looked at his wife to find her bending her lashes in shyness.

"Ahem...so this was taking your attention huh ?"

She nodded and rested her head on his chest fisting the shirt in her palm gently.

He hugged her closer and kissed her hair.

"Let's go home now ?"

"Ohh..." she broke the hug and looked at time.

"Ayyo its 4 ... I've been reading this since long😶"

"Yes you completed half book😆" He chuckled.

She facepalmed herself.

"Never mind. I'm happy that you were enjoying reading"

She smiled.

"Uh..bava... if you dont mind, can i take this book to home to complete rest of the story"

"Of course baby. You dont need to ask me☺" He passed the book to her.

"I'll buy more novels if you love reading"

"Umm...buy romantic novels only then..." she fidgeted the end of her dupatta.

"Perfect. I'll buy the most romantic novel "fifty shades of grey"

"Ohhh..is it nice ?" She asked innocently.

"Yeah very nice..you should read it" He said stifling his laugh.

"Okay. You buy for me. I'll read☺" She smiled clueless.

"Done" He winked.

"We are going home ? Your works completed?"

"Yes.."

She arranged the necessary files in his bag and took it along with hers.

He smiled at her , took his phone and wallet and walked out of the cabin with his wife.

"Rajesh..we are heading early. Make sure everything is fine"

"Okay sir. I'll manage"

Jai opened the door for her. After making sure she was comfortable, he went to his side and sat.

He started the car.

"It was boring for you right bangaram ?" Jai broke the silence after 2 minutes.

"No bava. I'm fine as long as im with you. Atleast i will be near you right ?☺"

He smiled at her and placed his left palm over hers giving it a gentle squeeze assuring that he would be with her for eternity.

"What do you want for dinner, bava ?"

"Something light bangaruu..."

"Oats ?" She stifled her laugh.

He gave a disappointed groan.

"Maybe you..."

"What ?!!! 😳🙈"

"Yeah you are mine right"

"Yes..." she played with her fingers coyly.

"Bava...this is the route to our home ..why are you taking that path ?"

He didnt answer her.

"Etho okkati cheppu" ( say something)

"To somewhere... dont worry"

She pouted and looked infront.

His lips curved upwards.

After fifteen minutes, they reached the destination.

Her eyes glittered.

"Beach !!!!🤩" She squealed making him chuckle while parking the car.

She came out fast and ran.

"Bangaruu..wait for me.."

"I won't. Come fast.." she shouted while running.

"Dont be so cruel, lady"

He chuckled not getting any response from her and took long strides to reach her.

"Bava...come fast..you are slow like a snail"

She dragged him fast to reach the water.

"Ohho.. says the one who always ask me to slow down at night"

"Neeku assalu siggu ledhani naaku telusu. Kanisam public lo konchem mellaga maatladu" ( I know very well that you are shameless. Atleast talk slowly in public place)

"Nenu cheppedi nijam kadha ?" ( isn't it the truth ?)
He giggled and walked with her earning her glare.

She took off her sandals and adjusted her pants from the bottom.

"Bava..come on..."

"I'm not coming bangaruu...you enjoy"

Her lips curved downwards.

"Then I'm also not going. We can go back home😒😕"

"Arey.... " he took off his shoes and socks and rolled up his pants.

"Come on now. Dont make that face"

She grinned and entwined her fingers with his.

They both stepped into the water and felt serene when the water touched their feet,the gentle breeze making their hair flutter.

He watched her smiling as she splashed water gently with her feet.

"Liked ?"

"Loved it bava..."

He shook his head smiling. His wife, she was a wonder. Out of all luxuries in the world, she preferred to find happiness in small things. She would scold her husband not to spend too much for her when he gifts her a ring or necklace.
She loved gardening, stitching clothes, now reading books were something that he discovered today.

"What are you thinking, my sweet husband ?☺"

She pinched his cheeks cutely.

"Nothing. I was thinking how adorable you are"

"How much ?"

"Cannot be put in words..🤗"

"Awww...you are making me blush a little today🙈"

"A little ? You are blushing every now and then"

"That's because your mouth has no filter"
She pouted cutely and he pinched her cheeks.

They enjoyed playing in water some more time. When the waves came, she ran back with him. Again come towards the front and when another wave come, she does the same.

"Haha... you are so playful bangaruu...are you scared ?😂"

"Umm..what if waves take us both into the ocean ?"

"Nothing like that will happen, baby. I'm with you right ?"

She kept her head on his chest and smiled.

After dragging out Vennela finally from the water, Jai wore his shoes while she wore her sandals.

They walked hand in hand on the beach sand.

So many kids were playing in water, some were building sand castles, while few were playing ball.

They watched a couple with small cute baby in husband's arms, giggling and blabbering something excitedly in his cute baby voice.

Vennela giggled watching the baby leaning towards Jai's shoulder.

As they continued to watch from a distance, the parents of the baby held both his tiny palms in each of their hands while making him walk through the sand. He was taking wobbly steps.

"Bangaruu.. ?"

"Hmmm ?"

"Are you watching what im watching ?"

"Hmm... the baby is so cute😍"
She entwined her fingers with his and sighed.

He wrapped his arms around her shoulder and pulled her more closer.

"I was imagining how nice it would be when we have a baby of our own" She told him after sometime.

"Even i was thinking the same"

"I want a baby, bava"

She whispered while snuggling more closer to his chest.

"Our baby will arrive at the right time, bangaruu.
Who knows..maybe you might be pregnant even now"

He winked at her.
She hit his chest lightly while he took her palm kissing it.

"I love babies as much as you do, bangaruu. Dont worry. He or she will arrive soon☺"

She gave a wide smile still in his arms.

"Umm..bava... i want an ice cream"

Vennela played with his long fingers.

"Wait here"
Saying Jai went towards the ice cream vendor and bought a double scoop cone ice cream for her.

Vennela's eyes glittered and she attacked it the moment Jai passed it to her.

He watched her in surprise.

"Have it bava.."

"Cared to ask now ?" He chuckled.

"Otherwise i will get a stomach ache seeing you drooling over it😏"

"Ohho...is that so ?" He sucked some from the ice cream.

As she was about to finish the ice cream, he noticed that it was smeared at some parts around her mouth.

He took his handkerchief and wiped it.

"I had other ways of cleaning it had we been at home😏"

"Did you say something , bava ?"

"No.. nothing"

She had finished the ice cream.

"Umm..one more bava..."

"No bangaruu. This is enough. You will get sick having it."

"Im not that fragile"

"I cant see you laying sick. So dont expect for another ice cream"

She murmured something frowning.

"Lol😂 I'll buy you some other time. Now dont be mad at me ...See the sun is going to set"

Vennela got distracted by his words and watched the beautiful sunset painting an yellow - orange sky.

"You fulfilled one of my dream bava. It was my dream to watch sunset on a beach with you by my side☺"

"Aww...im glad and i'll fulfil your every dreams baby😄"

"I love you so much..."

"I love you too so much more... "

They entwined their hands together, watching the sunset, in each others arms finding solace. The tranquilty surrounding around making them forget everything else. Little sweet whispers and teasings, Vennela and Jai knew that they belonged to each other. The level of understanding they had between themselves were too precious.
And just before the sun cast a glow down their faces, they seized the moment and lived in it making sure to visit this place often.
