It was a peaceful friday and Vennela was bathing babies. Time flew fast even before the new parents could revel in the feel at every phase of their babies' growth. They have grown up looking more chubby and beautiful than ever.
Jai always whispers to Vennela watching their babies sleeping that they have got all the prettiness from their mother, to which Vennela humbly protests and gives all the credit to Jai.

"You are so talented, bava. Made such chubby and cutie babies"

"I couldn't do this alone, bangaram. You also participated very well😉" He winks.

And at that Vennela blushes but never leaves her sassy replies.

Babies were four months old now. Both the parents' phone gallery was filled with every smile of their precious creation.

Back to the moment, they splashed water enjoying with the toy ducks and fishes in the tub.

"Ayy ayy no baby..." Vennela took the toy duck from her baby boy's mouth.

"Are you both hungry little chubs ?😘😘" She shampooed their hair gently.

Babies made cute sounds indicating that they were really enjoying the bath.

Vennela wrapped them in soft towels and carried them back to the room on either side of her hips.

"Let's show this photo to nana"

She pressed the sent button to her husband.
They were dressed up in soft cute onesies.
As she fed them, she applied kajal on their eyes and eyebrows.

"Amma's cutest munchkins !😍😘😘"

Babies looked at her with wide eyes holding the thaali and continued having their fill.

*Ping*
"Must be nana..." she muttered and checked the phone..

Jai sent two big hearts.

"Nana can't wait to come back and play elephant with you all🤩"

"You have spoiled them too much bava !🤭"

"They deserve all the pampering, wifey"

"Okay now you carry on with your works"

"Catch you later😉"

"No catching catching today. Help me with peeling garlics. Mavaiyya, amma, nana, babai, pinni and all are coming tomorrow right😌"

"Aye aye captain !😂" He chuckled at her reply.

"Bye bava"

"Take care bangaruu"

She made babies sleep in their crib and went to do some works in the kitchen.

"Did babies sleep, akka ?"

"Yes just before☺" Vennela smiled sweetly and helped Radha cut some vegetables for the lunch.

"You don't need to come for next two days, Radha..family is coming from the village tomorrow. They will be here for 3 or 4 days"

"But akka there will be lots of works"

"We will manage together. Dont worry"
Radha nodded.

"Don't hesitate to call me if you need some help"

"Alright☺" Vennela smiled.

"I will wash few clothes and then take a bath. Here is the baby monitor. Check on babies. Inform me if they wakes up, alright?"

"Yes, sure akka"

Vennela went to the backyard with her hair oil and started applying it on her long tresses. Giving a gentle massage to her scalp, she noticed her plants while humming an old telugu melody.

Her face automatically lit up with a smile seeing the freshly bloomed seasonal plants along with her favourite marigolds, orchids and roses.

She frowned as always seeing the mild hairloss she was facing after delivery. Giving a long sigh, she remembered how much Jai cherished her and her hair too. During weekends, Jai never misses to give a head massage and sambrani dhoopam treatment. Vennela adored him a lot. Every gestures of love was overwhelming for her.

She tied up her hair in a bun and took out Jai's shirts, pants along with babies' clothes for hand washing. A simple girl who enjoyed doing everything for her family.

"Akka, would anna come for lunch ?" Radha asked from the kitchen.

"Yes. He will come around 2.30 today. I've asked him to buy certain things as family is coming"

"Hmm" Radha nodded and resumed her works.

After spreading the clothes, she went to bath after checking babies.

Bright morning sunrays peeked through the curtains of the well polished office room, neatly arranged books sat perfectly in the shelf, the indoor plants looked healthy and calm, just like the atmosphere at the office, meals were getting ready in the canteen, while the smell of coffee wafted through the air.

It was a peaceful day.

As usual, Jai was indulged in going through some mails. His eyes focused on the screen through the rimless retro square glasses which he uses for the work purpose.
Even after married and a father to two, lady staffs still used to ogle at his handsome physique and the dashing formal look which always suited him. The serenity radiated from him was just enough to drive the whole office in tranquility.

He nonchalantly gave responses few mails and jotted important points in his tiny notepad to remember.

Taking a small interval, he drank some water to keep himself hydrated. The precious little frame sat on his table was his whole world. His eyes lit up and eyes crinkled in a smile as he caressed the photo of his wife and their babies.
They were his life, his hope, his joy. Never had he dreamt of a life like this. Vennela gave all the love to him and became his constant support. Along with the cutest additions- their babies. Returning back home from the office was something he looked forward to, every single day.

Suddenly he heard the shrill of his phone. It was Deva, his father.

"Tell me nana... is everything ok ?"

"Jai, i called you to ask about the job vacancies you said earlier. There are two students frm our village who have just graduated. Can you search whether those posts are available still ?"

"Sure nana. I'll check that and call you back"

"Okay Jai. Just before they came to me. That's why i called you right away otherwise i might forget. Were you busy?"

"Alright nana. I'm not busy. Have taken half day leave actually. When would you reach here tomorrow ?"

"Mostly around noon"

"Okay nana. We will be waiting. Don't forget to take your medicines too. Bye nana☺"

He disconnected the call and went to check the ongoing work progress of his staffs.

Vennela came out after a bath, gently wiping the hair and wrapping it in the towel as a bun.

She smiled seeing babies sleeping sound just like their father.

Taking out a pinch of kumkum from the box, she applied it on her hair partition- a symbol of her marriage to Jai, her ever loving husband.
She lined her eyes with some kajal and pasted a small red bindi.

Her smile reflected from the mirror indicating the happy life she was living.

Vennela sat on the bed and folded some clothes.
She collected babies' toys from the bed and kept it inside their toy basket. Jai kept buying new toys for them even when Vennela stops him.

"Hello amma ?"

"Vennu..where are babies?"

"Babies are sleeping. I just had a bath now. Where is chinnatha ?"

"Pallavi is preparing lunch. What about there ?"

"Radha is in the kitchen. I'll join her soon. Amma when are you coming tomorrow ?"

"Morning after breakfast"

"Okay amma, take your medicines and nana's too...Where is nana by the way ?"

"He is discussing something with peddanna.
Jai is at office right ?"

"Yeah..he will be here afternoon. Took half day leave☺"

"Akka..."
Radha came there interrupting the call.

"Yes Radha ? Amma I'll call you later ok ?"

"Ok bye vennu☺"

"Akka..Arjun anna waiting in the living room"

Her eyes widened hearing his name.

"What ? Why ?😳😧"

"I don't know. He asked for you"

Saying that Radha went downstairs to give him refreshments unknown to the tension Vennela was facing.

Her heart raced with thoughts. She quickly sent a message to Jai informing his arrival.
She clutched the phone and wore a dupatta over her nighty and went to the living room.

She saw him reading some magazine as she approached.
Hearing the tinkling of her anklets, he looked up from the magazine.

"Hey Vennela...😀" Arjun smiled wide seeing her.

"Hi..anna.." she gave back a small reluctant smile.

"What about his sudden visit ?"

"Oh just thought to come here..i was going to the market actually😁"

Meanwhile Radha came there with a glass of tea and some snacks.

"Why standing there ? Sit here😃" He patted on the sofa beside him.

She frowned seeing it and politely replied back.

"No, its ok. I'll stand here. You could have brought Reena too"

"She is busy with some works at home. Or mostly on phone talking with her friends😏" He said giving a disinterested smirk.

"Where is Jai ?"

"Bava is at the office"

"Ohh good..."

"What ?!!"

"I mean its good that he is working hard for the family. He is a lucky man indeed. Got a beautiful wife 😍😀" His eyes lingered on her more than usual making her wanting to cover herself with several layers of clothes.

Radha looked at Vennela sensing the shift in his tone.

Vennela gathered her courage, after all she was the sassy one.

"There is a correction, anna. I'm the lucky one indeed. Bava is so loving towards me and our babies. He is the best😏☺"

"Ohh...that's great😯" He pretended to give a smile while fuming inside.

"Where is the twins by the way ?"

"They are sleeping"

"Okay...why is your maid standing here ? Don't you have works at the kitchen ?🙄"

Radha clenched her jaw and frowned hearing his arrogant tone.

"We both have lots of works in the kitchen. We have to go now. I'm afraid, the works should be finished soon before the babies wake up"
She said hoping that he would go.

"What's with so much works ? Let me offer you a lending hand😁"

Vennela's eyes widened in horror.

"No no...that's okay😳"

"That's not okay. Let me help"

She fisted her palm inside dupatta, a sign on her frustration. Soon, as a hope, her babies started crying.

"Oh no..I've to really go now anna. Babies have woken up. Bye"

Without waiting for his response, she dashed back to her room and locked the door from inside.

Her heart pounded in her chest, she rushed to fetch the crying babies and took them in her arms.

"Ooh...amma is here...dont cry kanna... 😘😘"

She swayed them gently to calm them down.

Meanwhile Arjun clenched his fist and went outside missing this chance to interact with Vennela again.

She fed babies and checked her phone to see that the message she sent was still unread. Jai got busy with some works so that he didnt get time to check it.

"He has gone now, bava" she sent another message so that he wont rush.

Sensing their mother's tension, babies cooed and gave drooly smiles distracting her.

"Aww..my babies have the most beautiful smile. Amma is fine, babies. Nana will come soon and he will play with babies. Dont you both want to play?☺" she caressed their softest cheeks.

After sometime she unlocked the door and came to the kitchen with babies on either sides of her hips.

"When did he go, Radha ?"

"As soon as you left to the room, akka"

"Hmm..😑"

"Akka, its my doubt...but i don't feel good around him. I hope you have felt it too"

"Yes..." Vennela nodded.

"Ever since i'm here after marriage, he finds some or other reason to talk with me. I feel really weird and awkward😬" She gritted her teeth.

"That's what i felt too, akka. Haven't you informed this to anna ?"

"Yes. He also knows well"

"Hmm. Glad that he went soon"

"I'm thankful to my babies for that😘😘" She kissed on their heads.

"I wasn't aware about this. Next time if he comes, im not opening the door for him. Be careful, akka😐"

"Yes.... Everything is done no ?" She asked looking at the dishes.

"Yes..almost, akka"

She smiled while ammu tried to jump into Radha's arms.

"Wait..this naughty girl..😂"

Vennela giggled and passed the baby girl.

Radha wiped her hands on her saree and took her. While Rishu was just a mamma's boy clinging to his mother.

Vennela patted his back while Radha entertained ammu and they both finished the works together.

Her phone started ringing. It was Jai. She knew why he would be calling her.

"Hello bava ?"

"Bangaram, are you okay ?😟" She heard a panic stricken voice from her husband.

"I'm fine bava☺" She smiled at his concern.

"I'm so sorry baby. Was busy at work. Saw the message just before"

"It's okay bava. I dealt it. Actually our babies saved me on time. They cried and i ran to the room excusing myself☺"

"But why did you open the door actually? I dont like him even a bit😑" Jai gritted his teeth.

"Radha opened the door, bava. I was in our room. She wasn't aware of the things. Even i dont like him"

"You don't worry I'm coming home soon. Where are babies ?"

"Rishu is in my arms😘" She kissed his head gently, her calm baby boy snuggled closer to her chest.

"And ammu is with Radha"

"I can't wait to take them in my arms😀" Jai's excitement reflected in his words.

"They are also waiting for nana. Come soon so that I'll also get some rest" 😆She said, chuckling.
" but drive carefully" ☺

"Sure ....bye then. Have lunch bangaruu.."

"No...I'll have with you"

"Alright if that's your wish... I'll be there soon😄"

He disconnected the call.

"Its your nana, baby. Muah😘...my baby is the most calm unlike your naughty sister"

Rishu was sucking his fist and smiled occassionally taking her heart away.

"You both are just like your nana. Gives all those cute smiles to butter mamma😘"

He cooed as if agreeing to his mother.

It was past 2 pm. Vennela opened the gates hearing the horn of Jai's car.

Babies were taking an afternoon nap.

Jai gave a hug to his wife after getting down the car for which she reciprocated.

"Babies ?"

"As usual they slept, bava"

"Ohh..I'm late. 😕"

"No. They take a nap during this time. Dont worry. They will wake up soon"

Both of them carried the shopping bags.

"Change your clothes, bava. I'll keep the lunch ready"

"Alright bangaruu. Hai Radha☺" Jai greeted seeing her standing outside the kitchen.

"Hi anna....😊"

Jai went to their room and changed into his daily tee and pant.

Meanwhile Vennela and Radha arranged rice and curries on the table.

"Wow...we have quite a lot here! And it smells great😍😀"

"Yeah... have to satisfy a kumbhakarna's tummy😉" She winked while Radha giggled.

"Hello what ? Do i look like kumbhakarna to you ?🤨"

"Of course...you sleep like him too😆"

"You're going overboard, bangaruu🤨"

"Dont worry bava. You're smiling😂" She chuckled loud.

Jai shook his head actually smiling at her words.

"Come on Radha, you too sit"

Vennela and Jai both insisted, so she had no other choice than sitting with them.

Vennela served for all, making sure to give an extra fish fry to Jai as it was one of his favourite.

"Mmm...this is so delicious😋🤤"

"Your wife deserve all the credits, anna. Its her recipe and she prepared it"

"I knew it from the taste😁"

Vennela shook her head at the exaggerated praises from them.

"How was your day, bava ?"

"It was good. Nana had called me☺"

"Is everything okay ?"

"Yes. Talked about some job vacancies"

"Hmm. Radha take more curry"

"This is more than enough, akka. My tummy will burst if you both keep putting so much food into my plate. I must have put on few kilos😗"

"Did your husband scold you for that ?😂" Jai asked casually, chuckling.

"No..i mean he told me that ive become more chubby😗"

"Take it as a compliment then 😆"

"Bava is always like this, you have no idea how much he fed me during my pregnancy. Each hour he brought some or other thing, healthy of course. Still he feeds me a lot😫"

"I know, akka. He gave me a big list of your diet plan too😂" She giggled.

"Hey that's why you are healthy and we are blessed with two healthy babies😏😌"

"Yeah☺ More rice, bava ?"

"No..this is enough"

"Why ? You had less"

"I had enough. Otherwise i have to workout extra tomorrow"

"See...you keep feeding all of us and we will get chubby while you wanna stay on six packs huh ?😏 Not a good idea. Here have more😎"

She dumped another ladle of rice on his plate.

"Arey...bangaram...oh no this girl...how am i going to eat this ?😳"

"You can do it, bava. Never waste food😁"

"You're incorrigible !🤦‍♂️"

"Just like you, bava😉😏"

Radha laughed wholeheartedly seeing their banter.

The peaceful evening was embraced with the giggles and charm of their babies while Jai tried to entertain both of them. He blew raspberries on their tummies making babies to clutch his hair and laugh out loud.

"Are you both nana's babies? Muah 😘😘...nana and mamma loves you so so much darlings !"

He smothered kisses on their heads and faces.

Meanwhile Vennela who was rolling chapathi in the kitchen, smiled shaking her head hearing their playful banter.

"Bangaruu...do you want some help ?" She heard him shouting from the living room.

"No bava ...i can do it. You be with babies"

"Alright"

After sometime, he joined her in the kitchen with two babies in his arms.

"Ouch !!! My hair...😵" Vennela winced lightly when she felt her hair being pulled.

She already knew it was their kids.

"Slowly kanna...🤭" Jai gently removed the baby girl's grip from her hair.

"You are too naughty🤨😂😘" She gently pinched ammu's cheeks while earning a cute giggle.

"Your traits are working, bangaram😉" Jai winked.

"Excuse me ? It's your traits, bava. You're the most notorious. Ammu has gotten all that naughtiness from you😏" She complained cutely while tossing a chapathi.

He chuckled.

"Okay..i dont want to see you in kaali mata avatar😶😂"

"That's better for you. Look at my boy..he is the most calm. Just that its difficult to unlatch him. He drinks a lot of milk☺😘"

"For sure he has gotten nana's traits. Right kanna...😁" Jai nuzzled his nose on Rishu's head.

"Wait ! Rishu is the most calm like mavaiyya for sure😌"

Jai pouted.

"I'm offended !💔"

Vennela pinched his nose giggling.

Soon babies started yawning.

"Bangaruu...i think you need to make babies sleep. I'll do this. You go to the room"

"Hmm.. okay. But i can do this soon"

"No. Dont worry. I'll prepare this"

Jai handed over babies to his wife and he resumed with cooking.

Once it was done, he started preparing the vegetable curry.

"Bava..."

"Babies slept ?"

"Yes... what are you doing here ?🧐"

"Preparing the curry" He shrugged.

"You shouldn't have..."

"Hey...does that mean i make terribly awful dishes ?🤨😂" He joked.

"No..i didn't mean that.You make everything delicious.🤭"

"Alright. This is easy bangaram. I can do it. You should have taken some rest too☺"

"Uhumm..." she wrapped her arms around him and leaned towards his shoulder.

He gently kissed her head.

"Are you upset about today ?"

"No. But I just dont like his presence in our home which i consider as pure and full of positivity"

"Shall i go and tell him ?"

Vennela widened her eyes.

"No no... i know how you will make him understand. I dont want a fight, bava" 😱😳

"Hmm. Just promise me that you will call me if him or any strangers that you find suspicious comes to home. And keep doors locked always. Tell to Radha also"

"Okay.. promise☺"

"I love you baby... 😘"

"I love you more, bava❤" Her eyes glistened with unshed tears of the care and comfort Jai was providing her. She knew that she was safe in his arms.

He cupped her face and captured her lips in his sucking her lower lips, pouring out his love while Vennela reciprocated melting in the kiss. The minty taste of his lips and the warm embrace of his strong arms made her feel safe and loved.

After what it seemed like an eternity, the broke the kiss feeling breathless.

"Was that enough to let you know that you are always mine ?😉" He winked.

"I know that already"

"Ummm... after dinner if you have time...then we can..." she bent her lashes, redness spreading on her cheeks.

"We can...?😀" Jai switched off the stove eager to hear it fully.

"We can...." Vennela fidgeted her fingers.

"Tell me bangaram !!!😫" He shifted on his feet impatiently.

"We can get intimate...🙈👉👈"

She hid her face in his chest feeling all shy.

Jai's lips broke into a wide grin.

"Why can't you understand...?🤨" She playfully hit his chest.

"Pinch me🤩"

"Why ?" Vennela was clueless now.

"Pinch. Ouch !!!!😳Why would you pinch on my bums ?😵" Jai rubbed there.

"You kept telling about pinching. There is no better place than this...😂😂" Vennela laughed wholeheartedly.

"Hawww.. im not going to use protection😌 you know how much I'm irritated..." Jai declared as if something big.

"Alright.I know how impatient you are😏" Vennela smirked.

"You sure ?"

"If you keep asking unnecessary questions then you aren't getting anything😏"

"Ayyo... dont take such harsh words...😱"

"Lets finish preparing the curry now🤭" She indicated towards the curry stifling her laugh.

"Yes yes...lets complete it fast😍" He switched the stove on and stirred the curry...telling sweet nothings and some dirty quotes making Vennela hit his arms. Rest of the evening spent on their little moments of happiness and love.
