Rae Pierce never had your typical childhood. She never held a Barbie doll or cuddled a blanket. She never had those days at the park where she could learn to ride her bike under the sun. She never even went to a normal school.

Of course, these things are all a given when her third birthday present was her very own shotgun.

She didn't play with dolls, she used them as shooting targets. She never had a security blanket, she had gag cloths and blindfolds. She never got to go to the park, let alone be seen so unsheltered in public. She never went to a normal school, no, she lived in the Radarson Academy for Criminal Youth.

Thats right, Rae is the bad guy, the badass chic, the one you run from when you see them. Her whole life, she's been raised to be a criminal. Steal this, hack that, kill her, stalk him.

Enter Alex Chaser, abandoned gang boy from the streets. Now he might not have been trained like Rae, but that doesn't mean he doesn't have a dangerous side. When the two meet, they're quick to attach themselves and gain each other's trust.

But when both Rae's Academy and Alex's gang are forced from hiding by the police, trusting each other might just be a luxury neither of them have.

And the good side always wins, right? So what will happen to the pair if they're both considered to be on the bad side?
