Meet Ava Roche, the damsel in distress, who isn't actually such a damsel, and isn't ever in distress, but she turns heads wherever she goes.

And that's how she does it. Seduction. It's an art. It's a way to get things done. Unfortunately, she uses seduction to commit her crimes. Theft, murder, you name it. Ava has it handled, so long as there's a man to seduce.

And you can't forget her partner in crime, the devilishly handsome and charming, Jake Tucker, who handles the ladies. He and Ava are nearly inseparable.

Enter Cody Reed, troubled boy with a dark past. Also knows to Ava as just another one of her targets. But Cody is different. A whole different level of dangerous compared to the criminals Ava has dealt with before.

And that's not to say Ava isn't dangerous, heck, she'll put a bullet in your head before you can snap, but when she encounters Cody, she may have met her match.

"Who the hell are you?" He asks me, stepping closer with his shoulders pushed back and a small smirk plastered on his face. His eyes are glassed, running over my body repeatedly. I smile shyly.

"I can be whoever you want me to be," I whisper, staring him down, batting my dark eyelashes. He chuckles deeply.

"Show me," he whispers. Without a second invitation, my arms are around his neck and my hands are in his hair. My lips are on his and his on mine. His hands trail down my body, pulling my closer to himself.

There we go. He's hooked on me. My job is nearly finished. Just a few more minutes, and we'll be close enough to the money.
Then I can get this scumbag cheater off of me and get the hell out of here.
