I was exhausted from the city air,

Too tired of the monotonous drape, I wanted an escape,

I head to the mountains, I have never seen sights so rare,

My camera could not even capture the beautiful shape of the landscape,

On my way back from the hike, others warned me of the coming plight,

It started to rain so I ran to a nearby inn by the mountain wall covered in green, I couldn't take my eyes off the inn's interior, I couldn't shake off the mystical feel,

At night the storm grew, lightning filled the midnight sky with white light,

I had come here to heal but now I was afraid that my life would seal its final deal,

Against all odds I saw the morning sun, my eyes widened, I could swear there wasn't a cave in that mountain, the previous evening,

The rock which was covered in creepers was now giving a way to enter,

A twist of fate, a cryptic cave, a new beginning,

But what had me spellbound was the glow from within, the echo calling me in, do I dare to venture?

The cryptic cave, is it a portal, is it a gate?

But I know, I have to explore the cave, it was my fate.
