Fairytales...
Does it have to involve the princess ending with her knight in shining armor? Or better yet, her prince charming?
Does it always have to be a magical adventure where the prince saves the princess from a tower? From a ferocious dragon?
Well tell you what. I know a story where our young heroine ain't some damsel in distress, so better yet, call her 'Princess Charming'.
________________________________
Long ago, there stood a kingdom reigned by, of course, the monarch.
However, there's a lot you should know how things worked out here in the kingdom of Ebott. And that is, their coincidentally unusual flow of history.
From the first up to the current family, the cycle of their generation remains the same. It's always has been three boys were born in every generation, as princes of their humble nation. As they mature, all three would go out to seek their fortune.
The eldest and the second would always eventually end up never returning as they journey from afar, while the youngest would always bring back home a princess he'd save, and be crowned as the new king.
Today was the reign of King Asgore Dreemurr, the youngest son of the seventh generation of their family, together with his wife, Queen Toriel, which he saved from being locked up inside a castle known as the Ruins.
Like all generations, the queen did bore three children, however, while all are princes back then, the youngest child of King Asgore and Queen Toriel turned out to be... a girl.
A princess.
Nevertheless, they cared and loved their children equally, but mostly fond of their prized daughter they named as, Frisk. Never has anyone actually expected a girl to be born in the Dreemurr Household nor do they consider her as their shame. To them, her birth signifies luck and specialty of the royal family's current generation, thus earning them with much greater respect from the people of Ebott.
As the time has come for them to mature, Frisk's two older brothers, the eldest, Prince Asriel, and the second, Prince Chara, prepared to set out on seeking their fortune.
As soon as they arrived at the castle gates, they were greeted by their sister, all dressed up in clothes suited for traveling; a short sea blue dress that reached just below her knees, knee-high lavender socks, and a pair of brown leather boots. She carried around her purple-colored sling-on purse containing her essential needs for travel. By the looks of her, she seemed ready to go out for an adventure.
"If you think," she started, "that I'll just sit around waiting for a prince to save me, then you're as absurd as those who requests insincere peace treaty to our kingdom."
"We're absurd, all right, but you're crazy! A princess saving a prince?" Chara snorted insultingly.
"Impossible! What would people say?" pointed the king.
"And besides, we worry for your safety, dear sister." Added Asriel sympathetically.
Frisk only smiled at their comments. She knew they'd say exactly that, but she isn't daunted. She may look like a fragile person whose features showed her vulnerability, but she isn't like that. She's one fierce, and courageous princess whose only desire was to see the world, not being locked up in the castle waiting for someone to rescue her from what exactly?
Her happiness to be free?
I don't think so.
She beamed brightly at her concerned family, "Don't worry about me. I want to see the world just like you, guys. I don't want to stay locked up in here forever. I want to save a prince and fulfill the flow of our supposed history! I don't want everyone to just change the tactics just because I was born as a girl instead of being a prince like you, Father."
The Queen sighed, "I knew this day would come all along. We're just worried you'd get hurt, my child." She frowned, but then smiled, "But I knew better that we could not stop you from achieving your dreams, so we'll agree that you go out with your brothers. Promise us you won't get hurt?"
"I promise." She smiled, embracing her mother lovingly.
"Now, Chara, Asriel." Toriel began, turning her attention to the two princes, "Take good care of your sister, okay?"
"Yes, Mother." They nodded in unison.
After saying their goodbyes, they rode on their horses and thus begins their journey. Soon enough, however, they came upon a fork, where three paths were seen, all leading to different directions. At the middle of the fork sat a tall armor-fashioned skeleton all covered with dust and spider webs.
"To where do these roads lead to, skeleton?" asked Prince Chara rather haughtily.
"The road on the right leads to the region of Waterfall." The skeleton replied, "The road on the center leads to the region of Hotlands, and the road on the left leads to the region of Snowdin. And that's one."
"What do you mean by 'And that's one'?" asked Prince Asriel in confusion.
"I mean," he started, "that I am forced to sit on this spot without stirring, and that I must answer one question from each person who passes by. And that's two."
Instantly, by the words he had said, Frisk, her heart too kind for this world, asked him in concern, "Is there anything I can do to help you?"
The skeleton immediately sprang to his feet, his once frowning skull bearing a huge jolly smile, as the dust and webs fell from him, disappearing into thin air. He did a small dance of celebration, letting out loud snickers of 'nyeh he's.
"YOU HAVE ALREADY DONE SO, FOR THAT QUESTION IS THE ONE WHICH RELEASES ME. I HAVE SAT HERE FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG, WAITING FOR SOMEBODY TO ASK ME THAT!" his voice booming with joy, as the three gazed at him, startled by his sudden change of state.
"AND IN RETURN, I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, SHALL TELL YOU ANYTHING YOU WISH TO KNOW, M'LADY." He smiled, bowing at the kind princess.
"Where can I find a prince?" she promptly asked.
"THERE IS ONE IN THE HOUSE OF SANS, MY BROTHER, THE ENCHANTER." He pointed out, "AND TO GET THERE IS BY THE REGION OF SNOWDIN." He added, gesturing at the left road.
"Oh. Then that is where I am going."
"In that case, I will leave you." Said her oldest brother, "For I am going to the region of Waterfalls. I have a feeling my fortune is there."
"Good luck. For I am going to the region of Hotlands to see if I can find mine there." Said her second brother.
They embraced each other one last time, and then the two rode away. She turned back to look at the skeleton thoughtfully, while he on the other hand, has his back turned against her with his red-gloved hand placed on his chin in deep thought.
"Your brother?"
He looked back at her, surprised by the mention of his brother before sighing, "IT HAS BEEN LONG SINCE I HAVE SEEN HIM. I WAS ALWAYS WONDERING IF HE HAD CHANGED OR SOMETHING, BUT FEAR NOT! MY BROTHER MAY BE AN ENCHANTER, BUT DON'T BE FOOLED BY HIS GRIM ANTICS."
"May I ask you something else?"
"OF COURSE, PRINCESS. ANYTHING."
"Suppose I wanted to rescue that prince from your brother. How would I go about it? I haven't any experience in such things, you see."
"I DO NOT KNOW EVERYTHING." He admitted sadly, but lit up, "BUT I DO KNOW THAT THERE ARE THREE MAGICAL SECRETS WHICH, IF YOU CAN GET FROM HIM, WILL HELP YOU."
"But how can I get them?"
"OFFER TO WORK FOR HIM. HE WILL SET YOU THREE TASKS, AND IF YOU CAN DO THEM, YOU MAY REQUEST A REWARD FOR EACH. YOU MUST ASK HIM FOR A COMB FOR YOUR HAIR, A MIRROR TO LOOK INTO, AND A RING FOR YOUR FINGER."
"And then?"
"I DO NOT KNOW. I ONLY KNOW THAT ONCE YOU RESCUE THE PRINCE, YOU CAN USE THESE THINGS TO ESCAPE FROM THE ENCHANTER."
"It doesn't sound easy, though." She frowned, unsure of what she might do next.
"NOTHING IN THIS WORLD IS EASY TO GET. I MEAN, LOOK AT ME, I HAVE WANTED MY FREEDOM, AND HAVE FORGOTTEN HOW LONG IT HAS BEEN SINCE I WAS TRAPPED HERE."
Frisk thanked the skeleton, she now knew as Papyrus, thanks to his constant introductions of praise, before heading away towards the third road that leads to Snowdin.
As soon as she entered the region, she was fascinated by the snowy landscape, and the sudden change of temperature in the area. She shivered, reaching out a brown cloak from her purse, wrapping herself in it to keep warm.
Minutes later, she halted right in front of a homely cabin, all decorated with Christmas lights and of course, snow. This must be it. She glanced at the two mailbox that stood in front of the wooden house, where two names were found inscribed; Sans and Papyrus.
On the porch, in an armchair, sat a handsome skeleton, whose skull adorns black markings, with his eye sockets closed and his smooth white face turned to the sky.
The princess tied her horse to the taller mailbox, and approached the sleeping skeleton, "Is this the house of Sans the Enchanter?"
The skeleton blinked up at her in surprise. "I think so," he lazily replied, "Yes, I'm sure it is."
"And who are you?"
The skeletal monster yawned and stretched, "I am Prince Gaster of the Void. Now would you mind stepping aside? I'm trying to get a suntan and you're standing in the way." He shrugged casually.
She looked around, slightly confused, "It's snowing."
"And so?"
"So there won't be any sun. Besides, it's too cold to even get a suntan at this temperature." She frowned, scrunching her nose in annoyance.
"Skeletons don't get cold."
"You don't sound like much of a prince."
"That's funny." He said, closing his eyes back to sleep, "That's what my father always says." (You can't believe how weird it feels to write this.)
At that moment, the door of the house opened, revealing a skeleton all dressed in black and silver. He was, unlike the other two skeletons, shorter and having a much larger build (Nu-uh! I'm not writing fat, 'cause that's totally weird). His atmosphere felt really dark and gloomy, and even with his seemingly permanent grin plastered on his smooth skull, he holds in his state of being stern, but wise. Frisk knew at once that he was the enchanter.
But really, what's the deal with all of those she came across are all skeletons?
She shrugged the thought off, eyeing the skeleton warily as he bowed to her politely, "What can I do for you?"
"I wish to work for you." She announced, her soul full of determination.
He only nodded in understanding, not surprise she asked, "I cannot refuse ya. Tonight, I will give ya a task. If ya do it, I will reward ya, but if ya fail..." he paused, his white pinpricks disappearing from his eye sockets, revealing pitch black darkness that showed a sinister expression, "Ya must die."
The girl looked back at the prince who was snoring in his deep slumber before sighing, "I accept."
________________________________
That evening, they all have dinner together in the enchanter's kitchen. Soon right after, he took Frisk to a stone building, where a huge locked door stood sturdy. He stopped, looking away from the princess.
Sh-should I really must let her do it? He thought, feeling guilty that such an interesting girl will end up torn, all because of this he considered, a 'simple' task. It'll all be his fault. He frowned, but as realization came hitting him, a light tint of blue quickly grew on either side of his cheekbones. What am I thinking? Stop it, Sans, ya just met her! Besides, she'd be gone by the time she steps inside this door.
He shuddered, unlocking the huge door. Inside, stood seven ferocious black dogs.
"You must watch my hounds all night." He ordered.
As soon as she went in, Sans closed and locked the door. He sighed, once again, wearing his deceiving grin of empathy.
"I'm sorry. It was nice knowing you, Frisk."
________________________________
As soon as she took a step, the hounds began to snarl and bark threateningly. But Frisk was a real princess, so instead of backing away, stepped forward, not bothering to mind their glares. She began to speak to them in a quiet voice, and instantly, they stopped snarling, beginning to sniff her curiously. She patted their heads gently.
"I think I know why you acted that way." She cooed, continuing to stroke their black fur, "You are lonely here. Don't worry, I am here to keep you company." She smiled reassuringly.
All night long, she sat on the floor, talking to the dogs while repeatedly petting them. They lay close to her, panting, happy with her presence. And so at this moment, the huge ferocious dogs turned to soft darling puppies.
________________________________
In the morning, Sans's heart ached with guilt as he reached to open the door to his meat-eating hounds. His frowning expression turned to a surprise one once his pained pinpricks landed on the sleeping princess, with his dogs huddled up to keep her warm all night. To be honest, he was astonished, but at the same time, relieved to see Frisk unharmed, and most importantly, alive.
He walked up towards her, observing her gently delicate features; her shoulder-length chocolate brown hair, her fairly pale complexion, her soft pink lips... He blushed at the sight of her, as he leaned near to get a better look, only to see her eyes fluttering open by his presence, revealing her honey-glazed golden irises that glistened through the sunlit window.
She smiled at him warmly that made his heart melt like nice cream sundae. The princess sat up, gesturing at him to keep quiet as to not awake the still sleeping hounds. He nodded, seeming to obey her.
As soon as they crept out of the building, he smiled at her genuinely, which shocked her very much, hard to believe a stern person like him could even have the heart to do just that.
"I see that ya are brave." He complimented, "If ya had run from the dogs, they would have torn ya to pieces. Now ya may ask for what ya want."
"I want a comb for my hair." She demanded, remembering what the skeleton from earlier had said.
The enchanter gave her a comb carved from a piece of black pine wood, making it smell like pine trees, and is beautifully decorated with silver-engraved vines. She thanked the skeleton soon after, as they went back in the house for breakfast.

Prince Gaster was once again, outside, getting a 'suntan', as he was working at a crossword puzzle. Frisk said in a low voice, "I am doing this for you."
"That's nice." He said, not bothering to focus on the now scowling princess, "What's 'selfish' in six letters?"
"You are." She snapped in annoyance, as the enchanter only chuckled upon hearing her retort. She turned back to face Sans, saying, "I will work for you once more."
At this point, he frowned, secretly wanting to beg for her to stop making herself suffer and just ask for whatever she wants, but all he could do was sigh. For some reason, he wanted to see her complete this next task and observe what happens next.
________________________________
That night, he led her to a stable. Inside, awaits seven huge and angry horses.
"Tonight, ya must watch my steeds." He ordered, masking the disappointment in his deep smooth voice. And with that, he went out, locking the door behind him.
The moment she proceeded, the horses began to rear and neigh, stamping their hooves menacingly in a distressed pace. But Frisk didn't back away, nor did she felt afraid. After all, like all the other princesses we have heard, her soul was pure as gold.
She looked closely at them and saw that their coats were rough and their manes and tails full of burrs.
"I see what it is." She said, "You are hungry and dirty, and so I shall aid you with care."
The whole night, she fed them with as much hay as they could eat, and begin to brush them clean.
________________________________
Morning came, and the skeleton enchanter eagerly let her out of the stable, happy to see her succeeding to overcome this task.
"Ya are as kind as ya are brave." He beamed, "If ya had run from them, they would have trampled ya under their hooves. What will ya have as a reward?"
"I want a mirror to look into." She requested politely.
And so, the enchanter gave her a silver mirror, adorned with wooden carving of flowers.
________________________________
Later on, she looked across the lawn to see Gaster doing sitting-up exercises. At this point, he looked certainly handsome.
But not as handsome as---
She shut her thoughts in embarrassment, as softly slapped her reddening face. Her gaze fell on Sans.
He was busily reading a brown book of sorcery, adjusting the round thin-brimmed eyeglasses he now wore on top of where his nose should be. And as the gentle breeze blew, so did his black trench coat that seemed to come along with the wind, his black homburg slightly sliding to the side of his smooth ivory skull. At some point, he grinned at a paragraph, his smile dazzling the princess in admiration.
He ain't called the enchanter for nothing.
His gleaming white pinpricks moved up to meet with her golden ones, and as they did, the two couldn't help but smile as they blushed.
She walked up to him, while he closed the book he was reading to listen to whatever Frisk might say.
"I will work for you once more."
Sans nodded her a no, however, "Just tell me what ya want, and ya get it."
She beamed at him in thanks, but shrugged, "Thank you, but I think it would be fair if I get to work for me to get it."
Very understanding... He grinned at her, "Well then, if that's the case. I see why not?"
________________________________
That night, the enchanter led her to a loft above the stables. There, on perches, were seven great hawks.
"Tonight, ya must watch my falcons." He commanded, locking her in with no worry, for he now believed in her. By the looks of her and her progress, she has proven herself as the most determined soul he has ever met, and he was glad to know that.
The very second she entered the room, however, the hawks began to beat their wings and scream at her.
Frisk let out a small giggle, gently commenting, "That is not how birds sing. Listen." She began to sing, her sweet gentle voice coming out of her like milk and honey, very soothing and relaxing to anyone who could hear. Including a certain skeleton who listened intently to her beautiful singing.
The hawks fell silent. All night long she sang to them as they only sat like feathered statues on their perches, listening.
And as the light of morning came, the enchanter entered, complimenting her once more, "Ya are as talented as ya are kind and brave. If ya had run from them, they would have pecked and clawed ya without mercy. What do ya want now?"
"I would like to have a ring for my finger." She politely asked.
So the skeleton gave her a diamond ring, designed with precious gems of various kinds.
________________________________
The princess spent the following days for her to rest from all the tasks she had received. Of course, none of them was easy, and convincing the animals to befriend her is harder that she thought, but she sighed in relief to know that she succeeded.
At times, she'd spend the days with the annoyingly lazy Prince Gaster, but what she was fondest of during those days are the times she spent with the charming enchanter.
Through all their moments, she grew to know him better as a sweet, caring, and surprisingly punny skeleton underneath the blackness of the dark aura he gives out. Too bad, she knew she'll has to leave him one day. Rescuing a prince is what she came for in the house of Sans the skeleton enchanter, right?
________________________________
"Come on, lazybones. Wake up." She whispered quietly at the sleeping prince, as not to alert the enchanter, "I am going to rescue you."
Gaster awoke, rubbing his eyes and stared sleepily at her, "What time is it?"
"Never mind that. Let's go!"
"But I'm too sleepy. And it's too comfortable here."
"You're not much of a prince, but you're the best I can do." She shrugged annoyingly.
She grabbed him by the wrist and dragged him out of bed. She hauled him down the stairs and saddled their horses just as fast as them. She gave him a shove, and he mounted after. She jumped on her own horse, seized the prince's reins, and away they went like the wind.
They had not gone far when they heard a tremendous thumping.
________________________________
He thinks he was ready.
At first, he could not understand the strange feeling he felt whenever the princess was around, but now he knew, and he did not deny it. After many years of tremendous loneliness and the curse of angst and sorrow, he had found the one thing that could change all that.
He smiled, clutching a bouquet of golden buttercups, as he waited for the time she'd come down the stairs to greet him, and as for him, will greet her in confession of his newfound happiness.
The door of the house suddenly burst open, revealing his beloved brother he thought he would never see again.
"P-papyrus?" he called out in shock of the sudden arrival.
"YES, BROTHER. IT IS I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, HAS FINALLY RETURNED!" he boomed happily, scooping his supposedly older but not bigger brother into his arms to a bone-crushing embrace (Sans: is it really necessary to inform everyone that is reading that i may be older but i'm sadly not taller?!).
"But h-how?" he managed to gasp out due to the tight hug, "I-I thought ya're forced to sit down and- "
"A PRINCESS SAVED ME." he confessed, "SHE ASKED ME IF SHE COULD DO SOMETHING TO HELP ME IN MY SITUATION, BUT I REFUSED, FOR SHE HAD ALREADY DID BY JUST ASKING THAT VERY QUESTION! SHE IS A REALLY GOOD PERSON, IF I COULD SAY SO MYSELF. NOT AS GOOD AS ME, THOUGH."
Sans almost cried at this point after knowing that the person he likes, not only made him very happy, but also the one who saved his dear brother from such a horrible curse.
"ANYWAY, OH YES! DIDN'T SHE COME HERE TO RESCUE THE PRINCE YOU ARE HOLDING CAPTIVE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD?"
"Captive? I don't hold a prisoner in my house." He stated in confusion.
"REALLY? BUT THAT PRINCE- "
"He's a friend stopping by."
"AND HERE I THOUGHT YOU'D ALSO CAPTURE THAT PRINCESS... DID YOU?"
"What? Never!" he objected, flailing his hands about with the bouquet he still held slightly shook.
"AND WHY IS THAT?"
At his question, Sans couldn't do anything but blush. Well, he'll has to tell his brother the truth anyways.
"Ya see... She's really sweet, kind, brave, and caring. She's also the only one who'd laugh at my puns, which surprised and excited me greatly. She was the only person who could actually manage to make me smile for real all the time. Ya could say... I love her." He paused, turning to a deeper blue upon realizing he was babbling the whole time.
"Did I say too much?" he asked in embarrassment, glancing at the taller skeleton who listened intently.
Papyrus, however, squealed in pure delight, "I THINK YOU MUST TELL HER NOW, BROTHER!"
"That's exactly what I was planning to do."
"SO THAT EXPLAINS THE POSH BOUQUET?" he mischievously addressed, wiggling his non-existent eyebrows in a teasing manner, "BUT WHAT IS TAKING HER SO LONG?"
"I don't know." He shrugged worriedly before standing up, "I'll go check to see what's up."
But as he approached the room to where the girl had stayed, he couldn't help but feel anxious, his eagerness drowning out of him.
What if she doesn't feel the same way?
What if she won't like me anymore?
He shrugged all his thoughts as his phalange reached for the door knob. But just as he was about to get a hold of it, he couldn't help but notice the silence. It was quiet. Too quiet. Instantly, fear washed out in him, recalling what his brother had said earlier.
"ANYWAY, OH YES! DIDN'T SHE COME HERE TO RESCUE THE PRINCE YOU ARE HOLDING CAPTIVE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD?"
Realization hit him fast like a bullet. He quickly opened the door and bolted in, only to find it empty. His left eye ablaze in blue flames as he stared at nothing in worry. He hurriedly went down stairs, passing by his brother who now looked confused, and headed out of the house and into the snow, ignoring his brother's call.
No, no, no. Please don't leave me just yet!
He sped furiously, trudging swiftly through thick blankets of snow, faster than he has ever done before (Never done before *snickers*).
He felt the presence of two runaway companions getting nearer and nearer with ever long strides he took, as dark heavy clouds of gray followed right above him, signaling his arrival.
He could see his princess look back to him, her emotion filled with the mixture of fear, worry, guilt, and... sadness? But he was already too hurt to know what that face of her means, and could do nothing but chase them down. His legs grew tired, but he wasn't willing to give up, no.
Not until he says out what he longed to confess.
________________________________
He's gaining on us.
She eyed the enchanter frighteningly, feeling guilty of his seemingly hurt expression. Why would he be hurt?
Determined to get through, she remembered the three things she received as a reward, frantically rummaging through her purse as they rode. Soon, she held out her silver comb.
She didn't know what to do with it, mentally slapping herself for forgetting to know how to use it, so, threw it to the ground below. But what came out next was something she did not expect.
As the two held on their horses, away from the comb and to the horizon from afar, the comb instantly grew, turning itself into a humungous thorny barrier. Sans noted this, halting himself to stop, while the pair seemed to get away further.
The enchanter summoned a battalion of bones and a really huge hound-like creature, its surface and blasts penetrating the barrier. Soon enough, he was back in his pace, faster than before.
Recalling the remaining two items, she ran her hand to the silver mirror, throwing it away like what she did with the comb. It turned to a wide and deep lake, once again, stopping the skeleton, his gaze following the two galloping royals.
He sighed, feeling tired of all this, but felt unusual determination to keep going, so in a flash, teleported himself to the other side of the lake, before continuing in a much quicker pace.
As he was going near, however, she held out one last thing; the ring, and shakily threw it.
But nothing happened.
It just stood there, shining brightly on the ground. But as the enchanter stepped on the said ring, it grew larger and larger, until... SNAP!
He was held back, tied up tightly by the diamond ring. He fell on the ground, exhausted.
"Well, that's the end of him." Proclaimed the prince casually, which irritated the girl once more of his ridiculous behavior.
She looked back at the short skeleton, who laid still on the ground, in pity and worry. His eye sockets were closed and was breathing heavily in fatigue. Frisk couldn't help but feel her soul beat faster for his well-being, so got off her horse and ran up to him.
Sans, on the other hand, was surprised to see the princess approach. He forced out a wide smile of relief at the sight of her.
Finally, I caught up to ya.
She eyed him hesitantly, helping him up to sit straight, before speaking up, "If I release you, will you promise to let the prince go free?"
The enchanter stare at her in astonishment, "Let him go free? What are ya talking about? I'm glad to get rid of him."
This time, it was Frisk's turn to look surprised, "I don't understand. Weren't you holding him prisoner in your manor?"
"No." he chuckled amusedly after the current confusion with his brother seemed to get to her too, "Ya must be mistaken. He's a friend of mine who came to visit me for a weekend. In the end, that annoying guy asked if he could stay for another day. I was very polite, and of course, agreed with his request." He paused to glare at the other taller skeleton who still was mounted on his steed.
"And so he stayed for another day. And another day, and another... I can't even understand why I hadn't kicked him out earlier, 'guess I was just too nice. I don't know what I'd have done if ya hadn't dragged him away."
"But... But I don't understand. Why did you come running for him this way?" she asked, completely confused to what is happening.
"I wasn't chasing him. I was chasing ya. Ya are just the girl I have been looking for.
The girl who scared me in the first place for your determination to finish a task.
The girl who was brave enough to pet my hounds.
The girl who was kind enough to feed my horses.
The girl who sang ever so sweet to calm my birds.
The girl who laughed bubbly at my horrible puns.
The girl who cared greatly for every state of me.
The girl who let out this undiscovered side of me.
The girl who melted my soul like cheese.
The girl who lit up my dark world.
The girl who saved my brother from his still spell.
The girl who saved me.
Frisk, there's so much more to describe ya than just that, and I know it. Words like these aren't enough for me to show ya how perfect ya are. I know we just met for like a couple of days and so, but it felt like I've known ya for years, to the point that I too, cared for ya.
I love ya, Frisk. That's... all I gotta say anyways before ya go." He finished, sighing sadly as he looked down at the ground, preparing for the worst.
But instead, a small hand gently held his head up to face the girl, and was shocked to meet an unexpected kiss, her soft lips pressed gently on his teeth. Recovering from the daze, he took it back, accepting it. They slowly parted, the ring that held him vanished, appearing back on the princess' finger.
"I love you too, Sans." she beamed at the skeleton brightly in delight, but then eyed the horizon worriedly, "I don't know what my parents would say if they figured I come to take you instead of a prince."
He only chuckled lowly, standing up, and holding up his phalange for her to reach, "Let's go and find out, shall we, my princess?" She gladly accepted it.
Soon enough the two mounted on her horse; her at the front with him behind her, leaning on her shoulder as he nuzzled through her chocolate brown hair. The princess and the enchanter rode away, leaving Prince Gaster of the Void to head home alone, as best as he could.
So you see, my dearies, how this story has end? A fairytale doesn't have to involve a charming prince save the helplessly beautiful princess from a tower or a dragon.
This one ended with a strong and brave princess rescued, not a prince, but an enchanter from his lonely world.
A fairytale may have a lot of twist and turns, but as long as two souls, whatever position they are, proved their worth to be called as each other's 'meant-to-be', who knows, maybe there comes a perfect happy ending.
The End.

A/n: See? What did I tell ya? It's looonnnggg! And I'm sorry for that.
This is by far, the longest I have ever written in my whole author life, and thus, I'm so happy, and I hope you like it! (5400+ words, author's note not included!)
Also, just to inform you, this was supposed to be an Underswap parody of Petronella, but unfortunately, your author found it funny how Gaster and Sans switched persona; with Gaster being lazily laid-back, and Sans being gloomily strict. I couldn't stop laughing from doing this! It took me like, an hour and some courage to write Gaster's name beside the word 'lazy'! Lelz.
For those who doesn't know yet, I'll be publishing a book judging, argh, book, where you judge a... book (Word 'book' added to my list of flip words). Seriously, this is basically a book writing contest awarding ceremony, and there'll be prizes on this one.
It's called The Pink Community Choice Awards (TPCCA) and is focused on books, one-shots, and even short stories about Undertale and Minecraft. Yes, if you're asking, there'll be prizes! :3
For further inquiry and information, check out TPCCA in my profile. Thanks!
The next chapter will be quite short... I could maybe even decide to unlock it without the use of a key, so yeah! Also, for those who doesn't understand, again;
Level 1: Requires 1 Key Master
Level 2: Requires 3 Key Masters
Level 3: Requires 5 Key Masters
So if you are impatient, and would love to unlock it right away, why don't find other readers and encourage them to comment [why not?] in this book, okay?
Remember, one key is valid from every master on every chapter! :3
Stay safe, stay patient, stay strong, stay determined, my dear pinksterz!💕
