We headed as quick as we could to the capital. Thankfully, the Choma was still there, it's a good boy... Or girl. I don't really know to be honest. 
Aolo is half frozen, despite having most of our clothes on her. Her eyes are wide open, she must really feel cold. I wonder if she tastes different frozen, I kinda want to lick it.

"Why are looking at me with those eyes?"

Looks like I wasn't really discreet, Aolo noticed I was looking at her weirdly. But I really want to try though.

"What do you taste like?"

She takes a weird smile, was it that weird? I don't really know how I would act if someone asked me what I taste like? But to my surprise, Aolo actually answer.

"You can taste if you want, but you'll have to taste it on my boobs."

"Okay."

I was about to taste, but she starts blushing a lot a getting away from me.

"Wa-Wait! Are you really going to do it? Peoples are usually embarrassed."

"Why would I be embarrassed? I'm curious what you taste like."

Despite being all pink, I can see she blush a lot. Did I say something weird? Neige get out of the Choma and talks in a very monotone voice.

"We arrived."

I help Aolo to get down of the Choma, it's warmer here, but her body is still frozen. It's very dark, it's the middle of the night. And yet, Neige still want to go right now.

"Isn't it better if we sleep and save Ada tomorrow, we'll be well rested then." I thought he would agree, it's the most optimal way to act. But to my surprise, he was really opposed to it.

"I'm going now, you can sleep if you want, I'll go save Ada alone." 

Neige has a very detached voice, like he didn't care. Aolo notices it too, and confront him.

"Hey, there doesn't seem to be a lot of thoughts in your brain. She said it's better to wait dumbass, and I agree with her."

"So I should just wait? I should just wait while Ada is in danger somewhere? Wait until it's too late?"

Neige's voice becomes progressively more heated. He's trying to hide how he feels, but he can't keep it inside. He breaks into tears, unable to control himself.

"What am I gonna do if she dies? I can't be alone, I need Ada! I can't go back, go back to a life of loneliness and misery! When everyone was against me, she was here! I'll go save Ada, whatever it costs me."

Neige stands here, crying. After a moment of calm, he wipes his tears and look at us, his gaze empty again.

"Will you help me?"

"Of course." I really want to help Ada, for her, as well as for his sake.

"We should hurry then, I'd like to sleep tonight." Aolo and I start entering the city, but Neige stays behind for a while. When we turn around to see if he's alright, we see tears on his face again.

"Thanks you two."

The capital is empty at night. Neige told us we should go to the jails, that's where they could be keeping Ada. The three of us make our way to our goal, while staying as stealthy as possible. No one saw us, and we managed to reach the jails. The inside is dark and gloomy, but it's weirdly empty, not even a single guard. 
Suddenly, we hear a sound of someone screaming, deeper inside. We're met with a horrible scene there. Ada is tied up to a wall, with guard around her, my sister is with them too. Why is she doing this? Are they planning on doing something to Ada? We stay hidden outside the room, to try and understand why they locked her in here.

"Are you going to tell us where the Gods are now?" Iya is the one speaking, she's holding Ada's hand.  Ada looks in pain, but not exactly pain. It looks like she's exhausted but that she enjoys it? She's panting, the only thing holding her from falling on the ground are the ropes tying her.

"If... I tell you where they are... Can you electrocute me again?" Electrocute her again? Is my sister torturing her to get information? Are they searching the Gods for a reason? And also, why does Ada want to be electrocuted again? There's so much I don't understand.

"It's supposed to hurt you. You're not supposed to enjoy it."

"Well... It's not working as intended then." Ada's enjoying it? Is getting electrocuted good? Maybe I could do it for her if I can control my powers? 

"Are you really a nun? You're awfully perverted to be one."

"I... Am a proud nun... Of Fubuki."

"I'm not even a guy, how can you be excited with other girls in the room." 

"It's even better." Iya stops holding Ada's hand and look really flustered. Why? It doesn't look like the weirdest thing Ada said.

Neige makes a sign to us, he wants us to do a surprise attack I think. I and Aolo nod our heads, ready whenever.
After Neige's signal, we all enter the room they were in, only to be blocked by something. It's like an invisible wall. It hurt my nose.
Iya and the guards heard us, they all turn toward us.

"I didn't expect you to come here so quickly, but we were prepared. We're arresting this nun for indecency, go now, and maybe we'll leave you alone." 

Iya gives us a cold stare, I try to enter, but it's still blocked. Is this some kind of magic? Is there nothing we can do? My sister turn toward Ada once more, visibly annoyed.

"It's your last chance, tell us where Fubuki is hiding."

"Can you... Electrocute me again?"

Iya is getting really tired of Ada, if we don't do anything, she could end up really hurting her. Neige gets something out of his pocket, it looks like a small ball. He throws it on the ground, and an explosion emerge from it.
There's so much smoke that I can't see, but I can hear Neige talking to us.

"I got Ada, we need to leave!"

I try my best to leave, but there are too many walls for me to not hit myself on them. But in the end, every one of us made it outside. 

Ada is in Neige's arms, which is impressive considering that Ada is way taller than him. Her eyes are closed, but it's probably because she's exhausted. Neige holds her tight against him.
The slimy hand of Aolo take me farther from them, after being far away enough, she starts explaining the reason of her action.

"We should leave them together for a while. Why don't we cook something for them?"

It could be a good idea, and I admit that I'm pretty hungry. We haven't eaten yet today. I'm really tired too actually, all the worry and adrenaline must have kept me away from feeling that I needed sleep and food. 

"But what should we make? It's always my sister that makes food for me."

Aolo looks around, unsure what to do. She picks up a weird plant, it's like a tentacle, it even moves despite its great size. 

"We should cook that, I'm sure it's tasty."

The plant escape from her hand, is it alive? A deep sound echoes around us, the plant wriggles on the ground. It's not a plant at all, it really is a tentacle! It belongs to some kind of weird, giant flower, I had no idea these existed. One of its appendage grabs me by the leg, I don't want to die like that! Despite the danger, Aolo proudly points her short sword to the sky.

"Worry not, the Gods themselves have given me a way to protect us from those kinds of monsters. Behold! The power of fire!"

A fireball burn the monster in an instant, releasing me from its grip. Thankfully Aolo was here to protect me, without her, I would have been in danger.

"Thank you so much Aolo, I owe you my life."

"Don't dramatize it. Well you can, I like being praised!"

She can use fire, that's so cool! I would have loved to be able to do that, I can already feel warmer just from imagining it. A bit too hot actually, my vest is too much now, I'm sweating. That's not my imagination, it really is hotter. The flower monster isn't the only thing that got burned, the whole forest is burning.

"Aolo, there's fire everywhere! What do we do?"

"Can't you use ice? You should do something about it!"

I try to stay calm, despite her screaming and panicking. I gather all the energy I can, may Fubuki lend me her strength!
A lightning comes out instead, I still can't control Ice apparently.

"Wawawawawawa, it's even worse! We're gonna die! We're all gonna die!"

She panics way too easily, even I am not that much of a coward. 

"Who's there?"

Someone in a guard's uniform appeared behind us, probably guided by the screams of Aolo. Now we're really in trouble.

"A slime! By the Goddesses, you're under arrest!"

That's no good, we need to find a way to get out of here. Getting caught here would be terrible.
The fire is raging, but admist the chaos, a thin snow manages to fall. In front of us stands Neige, I have no idea where he comes from, Ada is also here, she looks like she feels much better.

"We leave you alone for less than a minute, and you cause a fire in the forest. What would Fubuki think of it?"

Aolo and I feel bow and apologize to Ada, we should have been more careful.

"Come one, they're just kids. We did some crazy things too when we were younger." Neige defend us, but I'm not a kid, I'm 6,593 days old! I think Aolo agrees with me.

"I'm sorry, but as a slime, I am probably older than you all."

"Do you think it's the moment to argue? We have to leave!" Ada is right, the situation is pretty bad. 

We run deeper in the forest, hoping to lose the guard in the way. I just wanted to find my sister dammit.
