Everything has gone wrong.

Emma darkened her heart.

She killed Cruella when she could not take the life of another.

The author was freed from his prison.

He wrote everyone back into the Enchanted Forest.

Their lives were different.

Snow was the Evil Queen, and Regina was Snow.

Everything was flipped.

Emma was locked up in a tower with memories of the real world.

And Scarlett... she was pure.

Full of innocence.

She lived in a cottage with her husband and her two children-- Annalise and Zachary.

But her husband was not Killian.

They had never met in this universe.

Killian was a pirate, but he was not Captain Hook.

Scarlet lived a life of content, having no dark magic in her life.

When the curse was broken, everyone returned to the real world.

And now here we are.

As soon as Scarlett wakes up from the curse that felt like a dream, only one thought enters her mind.

" Killian."

He died in the fake realm, and it could be that he's dead in this one, too. Tears pool the edges of her eyes as the possibility enters her mind. She tries to stay strong, to try and stay positive?

" Scarlett?"

The sound of her husband's brings a glimmer of hope to her heart.

" Killian?"

" Scarlett?"

" Killian!"

" Scarlett!"

The husband and wife run into each other's embrace with tears falling freely. As they collide, Killian picks her up and twirls her around as they enjoy the moment. He sets her down, cups her face with his hand as they stare deeply into each other's eyes.

" I'll travel the seven seas for you."

" Just to show my love for you."

They both lean in to connect their lips in what can only be described as a kiss of devotion. They stay like this for as long as they feel needed, then just wrap their arms around each other, swaying side-to-side as their just feel protected in one's embrace.

But, sadly, their happiness does not last long, because a little while later...

The darkness that had stayed within the Dark One now out of his body. It's different. It's... hungry. It entraps Regina, trying to cling onto something, anything that resembles darkness.

" Do you think you can contain it?" Snow asks.

" I-It's too powerful. I may be able to contain it... but I sure as hell can't control it", Scarlett says.

" The apprentice told me we have to do what the sorcerer did! We have to tether it to a person to contain it!", Emma says as she walks towards the darkness.

" Emma! No!", Regina shouts, " There has to be another way!".

" There isn't. You've worked too hard to have your happiness destroyed", Emma says, " You figured out how to take the darkness out of me once. You need to do it again-- as heroes".

" This isn't smart. You don't know what could happen. There's a prophecy, one that says: any offspring of a dark one, once the parent dies, will become the next and the darkest of all the dark ones", Scarlett says.

" No. Your heart is on its way to being freed of the darkness. I won't let you go back", Emma says.

" Emma, no!", Scarlett yells as Emma brings the dagger up to the darkness.

It surrounds her, leaving Regina, and then before they know it, she vanishes. Just when they think it's all gone... Scarlett gets a feeling inside of her. She can feel the darkness pumping through her veins. It's... thicker than usually. Her eyes turn pitch black, as her entire body turn the same color. She feels... drawn somewhere. She can hear Killian screaming her name, and the last thing she sees is his face, before she's dragged into a black abyss, completely surrounded... by darkness.
