Quibli watched the way they interacted. He hated it. Winter wasn't right for her. He couldn't be. He was rude to her. She was sweet and kind and..... beautiful. He blushed at his own thoughts. He sat idly by and watched Moon and Kink wrestle eachother. Winter came in and sat next to Quibli. Much to his dismay.

"Why are they wrestling?" The icewing asked watching the two dragonesses with amusement.

"They are practicing." Quibli said in a monotone.

Winter dismissed the Sandwing ' s behavior and continued watching.

" Hey Sandface. Can I tell you something?" Winter said as his dark eyes pierced through Quibli's.

His fear rose. This was where he would say that he likes Moon. His Moon. He nodded anyways. "Sure." His voice came out in a croak.

Winter lowered his head. "I think..... I think I have feelings for someone."

Quibli was crushed. He kept his face set in stone. "Who? Surely and narwhal like you couldn't. " He joked hoarsly.

Winter whacked him lightly with his wing.

" No. But she's always happy. She's so much fun to be around and her smile lights up the room." He said, then a light pink tinted his cheeks.

" It's Moon. Isn't it?" Quibli said quietly.

Winter seemed shocked he would say that. " Moon!? No. I'm talking about Kink. Moon is more of a sister then anything else." He admitted.

Quibli sat shocked. " You. Winter the harsh Icewing Prince, like Kinkajou, a overly happy rainwing. " He said doubting him.

Winter nodded. " But you can't tell anyone or I'll rip off your tail and beat you with it." He warned.

"There's the Winter I know."  Quibli joked and laughed with relief.

" And I know you like Moon." Quibli nearly choked at his words.

"What!? How-w I mean No!" He rambled only to grow silent.

Winter chuckled. "It's quite obvious. " He said. "Go talk to her."

Quibli nodded and walked to Kink and Moon who were resting...
