"I love you Moon." He said firmly.

"I'm sorry Winter but I love Quibli." Quibli appeared out of nowhere and wrapped his wing around Moon. Walking away Winter sobbed and called for her. Moon jolted awake in her sleeping cave. Where's his skyfire? He loves me? Moon decided to take a walk to clear her head, but nothing could erase what Winter said. She groaned and she massaged the growing pain in her head. Colliding with something cold Moonwatcher fell to the ground, landing on her wing.

"Watch where you're going night-" Winter started then his face softened as he helped Moon up. "Sorry for snapping." He grumbled. Maybe she's mad at me! Moon's eyes widened as she heard his thoughts.

"Winter WHERE is your skyfire!?" Moon frantically asked.

"It's in my pouch." Winter reached down and opened his pouch revealing only a piece of paper. "What!" Winter nearly yelled. Moon shushed him.

"Come on let's go find Turtle. Maybe he will lend you another piece." The two walked to Turtle's cave. When they went in they found him reading a scroll.

"Hey Turtle, sorry to bother you but we need another piece of the skyfire." Moon whispered so the others in the cave couldn't hear. Turtle nodded then turned his wrist over and pulled of a piece. Handing it to Moon she immediately dropped into the pouch for winter and stepped back. Shaking with disgust. The two walked out of the cave and to a secret lake that showed the three moms high above the sky.

"Hey winter can I ask you something?" Moon asked hesitantly. Winter grunted a noise that meant yes. Moon kept her gaze on the lake.
"With no skyfire on I could see everything, including your dreams." Winter stiffened next to her.

"Look Moon I can explain that dream." He started.

"Don't." She said softly. She turned to him. Winter lowered his head so it was level with Moon's. "Winter what are you-" Moon was cut off by Winter's snout on hers. He's kissing me!? Winter reluctantly pulled back and watched Moon open her violet eyes. He smirked.

"How's your wing? You landed pretty hard on it." Winter stood to inspect her wing, only to find it bleeding. "Moon get in the water, your wing is bleeding." Moon shook her head firmly.

"There is no way I'm getting into-" Before she could finish Winter pushed her into the water. Moon surfaced immediately, and coughed.

"There much better." Winter said and chuckled. Moon smiled.

"You know that's the first time I have ever heard you laugh." Winter smiled sheepishly and canonballed into the lake. "Winter I'm cold." Moon said shivering. Winter swam over and pulled Moon to him using his wings.

"There. Better?" Moon shivered into his chest.

"Your an Icewing dimwhit." She said.

"I'm sorry. But I do love you." Winter said quietly. Moon stopped shivering and looked up at him.

"I love you to Winter." Then a crash was heard. A blur of sand colored scales paused by and made their way out the exit. Winter instinctively pulled Moon closer and conjured up frostbreath in his throat, entertwining his tail with Moon's. He wouldn't let anyone hurt Moon.
