My heart thumps outside of my chest as adrenaline surges through my entire body. Shrill alarms ring behind me, the soundtrack of my life. The USB drive that sits tightly in my closed palm, becomes painful as it jabs into my skin. My arms pump at my sides. My feet hit the hard tile with swift taps.

This is it, I think. I'm almost there.

I can see the neon exit sign from here. It's just a few yards away now.

The sound of an army of heavy footsteps echoes from a chamber to my right.
