Dialogue is one of my weak points. If you've read one of my books you may have noticed a decided lack of it.

But I've been trying to work on this area based on some great feedback I received from a reader who reviewed my writing. This trick of reading out loud really made a difference.

Some of my early attempts were so stilted. And I learned quickly that I didn't have to write every word of dialogue. In fact, sometimes less is more. It's all about balance.
