This is part of a quote from an article in the newspaper (yes we still have those) "The Guardian" 

Here's the rest of the quote: 

"The latter means there is no free lunch. Writing is work. It's also gambling.  You don't get a pension plan.  Other people can help you a bit, but essentially you're on your own. Nobody is making you do this, you choose it, so don't whine."

I admire her direct approach and appreciate her honesty.  

Writing is a very individual thing in the end. Wattpad is a great community where authors support each other but it's still up to you to do the writing.
