Chapter – 10 - Do you really want me to dig out the past?

"Sanskar leave me it's already 7 am, I need to go downstairs." Swara said pushing her husband who is right now holding her waist tightly and hovering over her. 

"That's what I am saying even I am getting late give me my morning kiss and then go simple" Sanskar said while blocking her between him and the bed. 

Sanskar was caressing her hairs and her cheeks he slowly put his lips on hers and started kissing her upper lip, Swara also started responding to the kiss, they started with slow but then the kiss turns in to passionate one. They left each other's lips due to lack of breath, they looked at each other with dazed, Sanskar dig his face in the crook of her neck and started giving her open mouth kisses and leaving Swara to moan his name in pleasure. 

Swara was melting in his sweet torcher, she was feeling his closeness after three years, his touch how much she missed in these years. Thinking last three years her eyes filled with tears, one tear drops fell from her eyes and touched Sanskar's cheek. 

Sanskar raised his head feeling wetness on his cheek. "Shona, I am here, just leave the past behind?" Sanskar said while cupping her face with his left hand. Nobody can understand Swara better than Sanskar, he just know whats going on in her mind by one look. 

"You know Sanskar, I never told this to Dida or anybody, but I used to see us in my dreams, though they were blurred but I used to feel your touch, your closeness." Swara said while caressing his cheek. 

"And now we are going to live all your dreams in reality together forever" Sanskar said while kissing her forehead. Swara smiled feeling his love. 

"I love you" Swara said and pull his face towards her in another round of kiss.

"I will be on Maheshwari Inc's advisory board Bade Papa, Adarsh bhai and Lucky was there, I just walked away." Sanskar said guiltily to DP, post breakfast when DP asked Sanskar to meet him in his study. 

DP wanted Sanskar to join Maheshwari Inc. and lead it from front, he knew Sanskar capabilities, he was well aware about Karma Public Ltd., with in just 5 years this company was listed under top 100 of Forbes Magazine for fasted growing company. Karma was best known for efficient results and client satisfaction with high ethical and moral values. This was result of Sanskar's hard work, talent, and future planning. 

"Karma is my baby Bade Papa, the way Maheshwari Inc is your and Dad's baby. Let me nourish it please." Sanskar tried to explain DP. 

"Then you have to be the chairman for advisory board of Maheshwari Inc." DP said while nodding his head after thinking for some time, he can see 28 years Durgaprasad Maheshwari sitting in from of him.

"What happened Sanskar?" DP asked while looking at Sanskar when he saw Sanskar's worried face while his eyes were on mobile screen. 

"It's a message from SP Chatterjii." Sanskar said. 

"SP Chatterjii? Swara's case? I thought they are closing the case." DP said while confused face. 

"No Bade Papa, I have asked them not to close the case." Sanskar said shocking DP. 

"What why?" DP was shocked. "I smell some conspiracy behind Swara's missing on her so called marriage day." Sanskar paused and continued. 

"Bade Papa, Swara does not remember when she recorded that MMS, and besides that if she was unconscious and some villagers were taking her to hospital then how can she send MMS at that time from Badi? I had asked SP to find out the sending time and location for the MMS, he just messaged that sending time was 8:37 am and location was Badi. That means MMS was a planned move of SOMEONE. And I need to find this someone." Sanskar turned and looked and DP who was shocked with this revelation. 

"Who can be involved? Find that someone Sanskar" DP said, feeling rage that someone is trying to harm one of the Maheshwari, especially Swara who is Sanskar's life. DP does not want anybody to snatch his son's happiness. 

"My gut feel is someone close to our family might be involved" Sanskar said and continued "Bade Papa do you really want me to dig out the past? If I started, then it might cause imbalance with some relations." 

"I will support you Sanskar whoever it is will get punished, nobody can harm our family members" DP said strictly.

"Laksh Maheshwari naam to suna hi hoga na" Laksh said with small smile while extending his hand infront of Swara she was standing with Sanskar who was smiling on his little brother's drama. Seriously Laksh is a total Nautanki. 

Laksh knew that they cannot live under same roof with this cold war going on. He wanted to get all relation at place, and the first step was being a friend with Swara. It was difficult for him, but he can do it for his Bhai. He cannot see guilt in his Bhai's eyes. His bhai is happy after a long time. He knew his Bhai must be feeling guilty for whatever destiny played with them. Laksh knew how much importance Sanskar give to his all relations and how much he is possessive about his family members. 

"Shah Rukh ke fan ho?" Swara said while scrunching her forehead. 

Laksh laughed after a long while, and it was genuine laugh. 

"Both are dramebaaz" Sanskar murmured while shaking his head. 

Sanskar knew how much it would have been hurting Laksh to see Swara with his brother, but still he is trying to mend all relations. And Sanskar will help him out, his little brother has become a lot mature than he thought.

Ragini was looking at the trio from upstairs she could not hear what they are discussing, but Laksh was laughing, giving claps either to Swara or Sanskar. This brought tears in Ragini's eyes, she was feeling lonely and suffocated. Laksh was never been this open with her though he is trying now a days. He still behaves as friend to her when they are in room, but Ragini expects him to be her husband. Two days have been passed to Muh Dikhai function, and Swara have become the centre of talk, care and love of MM. DP also suggested Swara to join Maheshwari Inc or Karma Inc. for which Sanskar declined, as per him Swara should first finish her MBA and then decide if she want to be with any of the business houses or want to build something which only belongs to her. Badi Ma and Sujata provided their approval to Swara to continue her studies, to complete MBA.

"Jiji, I feel there is invisible wall between Shomi ji and Swara, infact all Gadodia's and Swara. They are very close to Ragini but not to Swara." Sujata said while giving water to plants.

She and Annapurna are sitting on the lawn at afternoon. 

"Hmm even I observed it during muh dikhai function, everybody was there with Ragini, only Dida was there with Swara. That is why I asked you and Pari to be with Swara all the time." Annpurna said and continued "For us all three DIL are same." 

"But how can Shomi ji be so partial between her own daughters, I would have understood her partial behaviour with Swara since she is her own daughter, but here it's exactly opposite." Sujata said while scrunching her eyebrows and shaking her head. 

"Let it be Sujata, yeh unake ghar ka issue hai, for us we should give same motherly love to all our bahus." Annpurnna said.

"Ragini why are you standing there, its 2 am, are you not sleepy?" Laksh said while yawing. 

He was in deep sleep, wake up feeling thirty. He did not find Ragini on the bed, she was standing at the balcony. Laksh stepped down and went in the balcony when he received no reply from Ragini. 

"What happened Ragini?" Laksh said while turning her around. 

"Hey why are you crying?" he said worriedly looking at Ragini's tear. 

"Come, come inside, and tell me what happened? What is bothering you? Did I hurt you intentionally or unintentionally? Please say it out Ragini." Laksh said in one breath, holding her with her shoulder and making her sit on the bed. 

"its nothing Laksh, I am fine, you don't need to worry." Ragini said while wiping her tears. 

"No tell me, I need to know. Ragini we need to share everything with each other then only we will be able to overcome this situation and move ahead" Laksh said holding her hands in his while sitting beside her. 

"Who am I to you Laksh?" Ragini asked and her question increases Laksh confusion. 

"My wife" Laksh said. 

"Then why don't you behave with me like I am your wife, during muh dikhai function you were not at all interested in all rituals, you did not even recognize that I am sitting beside you. I have seen how much friendly you have become with Swara. Do you have any regrets for our marriage?" Ragini asked him.

"No Ragini, for me marriage is the most pious relation, in which you and I are tied. And as I said on our wedding night, I will fulfill all responsibilities as husband towards you. Trust me Ragini, give me some time." Laksh tried to explain her his inner turmoil. 

"Ragini, I was supposed to get marry with Swara, I loved her even though she was never interested in us. I always wanted to see that love, her bright smile, her shiny eyes which I never saw until Bhai came back. I cannot remove all feelings in one day, right? I will try to overcome it, but I need your support. Trust me we will have successful marriage." 

"Do you still love her?" Ragini's question startled Laksh. 

"I don't know whether it's called as love or not? But yes, I had some feelings for her, I used to feel happy when she used to be with me, I loved to see her smiling face and I know she will never reciprocate to those feelings. She is bhai's wife. She loves bhai, have you seen them they both love each other madly." Laksh said with amused smile on his face. 

"Do you really think they are married?" Ragini asked shocking Laksh.

"What do you mean by this?" "Laksh I think Swara wants to make you jealous being close to Sanskar so she can break our marriage, and Sanskar is trying to help her to fulfill his revenge for your three years back mistake." Ragini said. 

"Are you out of your mind Ragini?" Laksh almost shouted at Ragini, "I understand your insecurities with Swara, but whatever you just said is utter nonsense. I will never doubt on my bhai, he will never think to harm me or any of the family member. So please take out this bullshit from your mind." Laksh said while pointing at her face. He gave her angry look for a second and went to bed for sleep after closing the lights.

"Mr. Maheshwari, as per doctors from City Care Hospital there was some drugs found in Mrs. Maheshwari's blood test when she was admitted over there. Dr. Roy could you please explain him what kind of drug it was?" SP Chatterjii's revelation shocked Sanskar to the core. 

They were standing at Police station, SP Chatterjii asked Sanskar in morning to visit him. When Sanskar said he will visit him at 2 pm, SP also called the doctor who treated Swara in City Care Hospital. 

"Sure, Mr. Maheshwari, SP sir is saying correct, we found the drugs in Mrs. Maheshwari's blood, the drugs which generally used in Lie Detector test. It makes some imbalance on the brain functioning for couple of hours, and human cannot manage full control over body." Doctor explain them. 

"What's all this? Drugs and conspiracy with MMS" Adarsh said, it was shock for him. 

Earlier he thought Sanskar might have some misunderstanding, when Sanskar received message from SP Adarsh was with him, he insisted to come along with Sanskar to police station. 

"I guess these two things are related." Sanskar said while thinking. 

"Bhai on engagement day Swara was found in one of the club, right? Which club was it? Who found her?" Sanskar asked. 

"Yes she was in Osmose Club on SB road. And we were finding her since as per dadi Swara and Ragini went to parlour to get ready. Ragini came early since Swara wanted to do some more things so she stayed at parlour and told Ragini that she will directly come to MM." Adarsh said remembering that day. "And Laksh got phone from club that she was drunk." 

"Why Laksh? Why not Shekhar uncle or Sharmishtha Aunty? By the way can we get CCTV video from club for that day plus call records for that day of the club did someone from club really gave call to Laksh or was it just anonymous call" Sanskar said instructing SP.

Swara and Sanskar would never forget the next one week of their life. Magical was a mild word compared to the love, happiness, care that they have shared with each other and also with other family members. Whereas for Ragini it was something eye opener, her belief of Swara is trying to destroy her marriage looks like baseless. Laksh was right Sanskar and Swara are actually married and love each other, anybody who observes them can guess these two are madly in love. Ragini started feeling jealous for Swara since she was getting all attention not only from her husband but also from family members. Sanskar have started working on migrating his head office from New York to Kolkatta.
