Wei Ying/Xiao Zhan's POV

It was a clear weather. There was calmness everywhere. The green trees spread their dominance everywhere. No other region can even compare its beauty to Gusu.

Suddenly I saw a young man of about height was gently walking towards me. He was wearing complete white robes with a shade of light blue colour. His sharp light coloured eyes defined more of his calm and strong character. He had a headband on his forehead making him look like a majestic emperor.

"Lan Zhan...where are you going" I suddenly asked holding his arm.

"Wei Ying...I must go now" Lan Zhan said without any expressions but his eyes clearly depicted that something was greatly wrong.

"Lan Zhan...don't leave me alone. What are you hiding from me?!" I asked while holding his upper arm with both of my hands.

"Wei Ying...don't follow me. I don't want you to be in danger." Lan Zhan said while trying to make me understand through his eyes.

"Lan Zhan...nooooo....."

Suddenly a sharp blade attacked Lan Zhan and he lay down on the ground. Blood started to flow from the wound on his chest.

"Lan Zhan....why? Lan Zhan...open your eyes...Lan Zhann." I couldn't think straight anymore. He was closing his eyes.

"Wei ..Wei Ying " Lan Zhan struggled say the words. "We...We are meant for each other. We c-cannot get separated," with those words Lan Zhan's arm fell on the ground which was cupping my face.

I felt my blood became cold and I almost felt numb. D-Did be just leave me?! "Lan Zhaaaan....open your eyes...wake up...Wake up Lan Zhan..Lan Zhaaaan......."

"Lan Zhan"....

Suddenly my eyes got opened up. There were beads of sweat all over my forehead. My breathing was uneven and heavy as if I ran marathon just now. I was sitting on my soft, cozy bed. Phew...what a bad dream. I took a deep breath, wiped my sweat and again lay down on my bed.

But Wait...Lan Zhan!!!! Where is he?! My brain suddenly asked and I realized that my Lan Zhan wasn't present here beside me. I quickly got out of the bed and ran straight downstairs. I even didn't clean up my bed room.

"Lan Zhan...Lan Zhaaaan" I screamed as I went downstairs.

I was running like a madman without caring what others might think. For a moment, I completely forgot that two other creatures were living in that house other than me.

"Xiao Zhan...wait, whats wrong. Why are you yelling ?! Just calm down"

Suddenly someone held my shoulders from behind. I turned back to see a cute guy with round glasses was wearing a white shirt and looking at me worriedly.

"Wen Ning...where is Lan Zhan?!" I asked holding his shoulder tightly.

"Ah! Xiao Zhan..it hurts." Wen Ning complained.

I even didn't notice that I held him tight enough to hurt him. I immediately left his shoulder.

"Aiya...Xiao Zhan, are you trying to show your strength on me?!" Wen Ning said innocently. 

"Uh. I am sorry Wen Ning." I immediately apologized. Perhaps I really held him too tightly.

"Xiao Zhan... Who is Lan Zhan?! And why are yelling that name?!" Wen Ning looked at me suspiciously while rubbing his shoulder to decrease the pain.

I tried to open my mouth but suddenly I remembered that I am not Wei Ying anymore. I am Xiao Zhan, the CEO of Rose Valley company. But what I know was that Lan Zhan was my soulmate and I had to find him no matter what hurdles were waiting for me on the way.

"Sorry, Wen Ning...I am really sorry. I had a very bad dream." I said while scratching my nape awkwardly.

"Xiao Zhan...Is that dream is somehow related to your past life?!" He asked me while pouring water in a glass.

"Why are asking that?" I said while taking a seat on the couch.

"Because you often have this dream and whenever you have this dream, you become restless," He said and handed me the glass of water.

"I don't know. But what I know is the person named Lan Zhan is my soulmate and I have to find him. By the way, Wen Ning, do you ever had these types of weird dreams?" I asked while drinking the water.

"Not often...but sometimes I dream something really more weird than you. I sometimes see my jie Wen Qing who was wearing completely traditional attire. Sometimes I see battlefields which really really terrible with blood everywhere, killing people. And the most important is that I sometimes see you as well. You are wearing a long black traditional dress holding a black flute. Sometimes I also see a young man with honey-colored eyes and he has a strong majestic aura. He always accompanies you in my dream. I cannot clearly remember his face," he said while trying to remember what he saw.

"Was that person Lan Zhan?!" I asked as his description almost matched Lan Zhan.

"I don't know his name. He was really really handsome guy and his height is around 188cm." He said while rolling his eyes, trying hard to remember.

"Guys...you still gossiping?!"

A shrill female voice echoed in the entire room and both of us took at the direction of the sound. A young girl was glaring at both of us with her hands resting on her hips while her brows were knitted together forming a frown. She was our one and only Wen Qing, Wen Ning's sibling.

"Ah... Jiejie actually..." Wen Ning looked at me, asking me to help him to talk to his jiejie.

"Wen Qing...when did you arrive?!" I asked getting up from my seat.

"Just a few minutes ago...but what you guys are doing here?" She asked looking at Wen Ning and me with a sharp gaze.

"Jie...Xiao Zhan had a weird dream again and I was telling him about my dream." Wen Ning said in a polite manner because why not. He was a cinnamon roll after all.

"Yeah yeah...whenever you guys have work, you always dream about weird things. Now get ready both of you. I am preparing for breakfast. I too have to go to the hospital today " she said while walking towards the kitchen.

"Copy that, your highness." I bowed to her in a dramatic way.

Both Wen Ning I went to our respective rooms.

Actually, this was my apartment. Wen Ning and Wen Qing were my best friends. Three of us used to live together when we had a hard time. We together saw many ups and downs in life. So the relation between thereof us was like siblings. Though Wen Qing acted like she is cold and she didn't have any emotions, she was the one who cared about us the most.

Oh! I forgot to introduce myself! I am Xiao Zhan, the CEO of the infamous Rose Valley Company which is well known for its cosmetics.

Lan Zhan/Wang Yibo's POV

The weather was so clear today. Even there was a kind of chillness in the environment. I don't know why but I was lost in someone else's thoughts.

"Wei Ying," those words had escaped my lips while my eyes were looking at the clear sky from the window.

I must find you where you are. I hope you are in the same city Shanghai. This sign on my chest will help me find you. I know you must have the same symbol on your chest too. I let out a deep breath and put my hand on my chest where the Wen's brand mark was present.

"Yibo."

A manly voice called me and I looked at him immediately. He was wearing a black shirt and was looking at me as if he wanted to tell me something.

"Oh...Xichen gege, what's up?" I smiled and walked towards him.

"Yibo...who is this Wei Ying?!" He asked while he walked towards the table.

"Xichen ge...I told you he is my soulmate. He is my soulmate even in my past life. Do you remember you told me you saw a dream of me with a guy with long black robes? That guy is Wei Ying" I replied putting on a jacket.

"Oh..that guy! I remember him now...he is Childe Wei...right?" Xichen ge asked while putting a file on the table.

"Yes.."

"By the way Yibo, I got updates on the case we are working on. We must check it out now". Xichen ge said while pushing the file gently towards me.

"Yes...sure," I said as I took the file and sat on the adjacent couch. "I will look into it. You can take rest now." I smiled.

"Read the file first, Yibo. Both of us are needed now." He said while resting his body on the couch.

Xichen ge was my senior. Both of us work as detectives. Because of our working experience, we were always given the toughest tasks which normally the police couldn't do. Xichen gege is known as Zewu Jun in our office while I call him Xichen gege. Both of us were called Jade twins in our past life. Like me, he too remembered his past.

I was reading the file when suddenly gege's phone rang. He was taking a nap but the phone call disturbed his sweet sleep. He lifted the phone. While talking, he didn't say anything but listened to what the other person said. All he said was, "hm, alright. We will be there soon."

After ending the call he looked at me. I immediately understood that we were needed at the office right now.

"We need to go to the office urgently. The case we are handling is getting more and more complicated. Now the infamous company Rose Valley also got included in this case." He sighed and got up from the couch.

I just nodded and both of us left the room so that we could reach our office as soon as possible.
