Harper and Joe watched as the couple before them were getting their scores.

"We're next, you know," Harper mumbled to him backstage.

"Yeah," Joe breathed out, nodding.

"You nervous?" Harper teased, nudging him with her elbow.

"Would you make fun of me if I said yes?" Joe questioned, eyebrow raised.

"A little bit," Harper nodded, with a smirk.

"I'm gonna do good, right?" Joe asked, wringing his hands together.

"Joe," Harper said, moving to stand in front of him, putting her hands on his shoulders, "You've been practicing and practicing for two weeks. You know this, okay. You can do it. I believe in you,"

Joe smiled, embracing the smaller girl in a hug, his heart beating faster and faster, putting it all on nerves.
