Prologue.

He left me alone, once again in this miserable world.

How could he even think that I would be happy without him?

From now on, where would I get the warmth he had given me?

He snatched away my darkness, all my pain in himself and when I accused him he remained silent.

Why didn't he just let me see his real self?

Why did he care so much about me?

Why did he love me so much?

He tolerated all the pain, just for me...

He sacrificed his life, his ambition, his career, his happiness, his love, just for me... Just for my happiness!

He didn't dare to tell me how much in pain he was, how many difficulties he had to pass through or how alone he was.

But I, a foolish and selfish one, who didn't care for him, never asked how he was and always kept a distance from him.

I just watched his cold exterior, but never tried to understand his heart.

I hurt him... I hurt him... I hurt him...

I never believed in him.

Indeed I'm ugly.

Both from the inside and outside.

Oh Raghav! I am not worthy of your love, your selfless love!

Now as I'm shattering into a million pieces, there's nobody to fix them anymore.

Where are you? Please come, I need you...

I want to be the light in your darkest path. I want to hold your hands in mine. For one last time.

I promise I will hold onto you for the longest time. I promise i would love you right.

~Your Siya

In this world, silence symbolizes peace, but sometimes the silence only kills, when the inner tranquility breaks into piece by piece.

The forest path was covered in green, the road carrying the rain's weight as well as the girls who could be seen on her knees, sobbing uncontrollably, lifting the suffocating silence with ease. Her throat was burning with fresh tears as her body remained paralysed due to the bone-chilling atmosphere along with her grief. The droplets of rain mingling with her own tears were rolling down her cheeks making them untraceable to see.

She kept hugging an old journal close to her chest to find some warmth of him, but all in vain. She was craving for him. She wanted to feel his warmth for one last time. But it was too late now... too late.

Sometimes life gives us extreme pleasures which we could never have expected. But as we start to enjoy it, all of a sudden everything falls apart, leaving us with nothing but sins.

If a toy breaks, we can easily join them with a glue. But if a glass shatters, a glue would be a blasphemy as is the case with our hearts.

The droplets of rain fell down harder and harder so did her screams and sobs of pain. Lightning flashed through the clouds as if they too are mocking her vulnerable state.

A sudden cool breeze blew her wet hair strands as a chill ran down her spine. She felt someone.

A melancholic tune embraced the surrounding, ceasing her tears miraculously. She didn't care about her drenched appearance as she hurriedly made her way to the source from where that sound was coming.

After all, it was the sound she remembered all too well and could never forget even if she wanted to.

I'm here, always with her. Whenever she calls me, look behind, you'll find me stand before her.

Don't be guilty as I love her, enough to fight for her, compromise for her and sacrifice myself for her if needs be.

I'll always care for her, even if we're not together and even if we're far, far from each other.

She's the moon on my darkest night, so I can see everything even with my lost sight. I can see everything through her eyes.

Because she's my ecstasy! The reason I'm alive.

~Your Raghav

As she looked down to find the smudged ink of his last line washed away along with the raindrops, her hopes dwindled too. She knew he was there. She could feel his presence but he was in a very faraway place now where she can't reach.

Her knees gave out as she felt to her knees on the dirty pavement; her puffy eyes started scanning the adjacent as her body shook with sobs.

They say that when love reaches its climax, it turns into worship as she started chanting his name with devotion.

The guilt was making her lose her mind. She started screaming at the top of her lungs again and again until her throat became hoarse.

She kept blaming herself by saying it was all her fault. Only if she knew. If only...

Her head touched the ground as she started to lose consciousness muttering the same, 'Ugly. Ugly. Ugly. From the inside. From the outside.'

A soft caress as someone slowly whispered into her ears from behind.

"Remember this, you're beautiful. Both from the inside, both from the outside."

Her lips tugged up automatically and she closed her eyes to feel his intoxicating presence a little longer even if it's a dream. For fearing if she dared to open them, he would vanish again.

The roars of lightning vibrated through the surrounding forest once again and soon she lost connection from the earthly realm.

He found himself smiling at her petite figure lying in the middle of the road for the last time. So fragile, so broken, so in love. Waving his hand in goodbye he vanished into thin air.

Heya! here i come with another story. It's a bit tragic than my other books. So if you don't usually read sad endings you can skip this one, though i would appreciate it if you continue <3 As it's my first attempt to write a tragedy so please bear with my poor writing skills and grammatical errors. Tell me if you like the prologue or not so I should unpublish it asap. I will publish the next part once or twice a week, so please have some patience. Love y'all ♡!

1. It's an Indian story and if you don't know then let me remind you that Indian middle-class parents are over possessive of their children's studies. In this story, I'm going to show you how they abuse their own children mentally.

2. The female lead, Siya is utterly devoted to her Lord Krishna and how she thinks of him as her only true companion when her parents don't support her and she finds an escape. She loves animals dearly so to think of killing them is beyond her so she's a chosen vegetarian but being in a nonveg family there's some conflict between her parents because of her choice.

4. There's mention of a college/ coaching campus where medical students come to prepare for NEET examination.

5. Being in an orthodox family she is forbidden to hang out with boys so she'll be facing problems socializing.
