Riley was missing Sam, he felt stupid for missing him considering they spent six to nine months around each other but that's different they couldn't kiss each other or hug each other or they would get dishonorably discharged. Now they were both in the states and they were so close but Riley wasn't about to beg Sam to come to visit him because he was sad, he had his own family to see. Riley was just going to have to make do with the phone calls and the rare chance they get to video chat.

Riley was alone, he had the house to himself. Not that he hated being alone but he was lonely only having Acacia to keep him company, at least until someone came home. He sighed as he grabbed the remote and flipped through channels looking for something to watch he finally decided that watching the news channel was good enough.

He didn't know how long he was sitting there staring at the tv, Riley knew he wasn't following with what was happening and that's why he jumped when his phone rang. He smiled when he saw who was calling him. "Hey Sammy, I missed you." Riley furrowed his brows when he heard what Sam told him. "What?" Suddenly he jumped up off the couch, Acacia because she is used to his nightmares during the night just hissed at Riley before curling up in the corner of the couch but Riley didn't notice because he ran towards the front door and yanked the door open.

Riley gasped and dropped his phone on the floor in shock. "Oh my god." Riley ran outside not caring that he didn't have any shoes on, Riley put his arms around the man who was waiting outside and hugged him tightly.

"I missed you too dumbass, but let's continue this inside okay?" Riley nodded and reluctantly pulled back from the man, bending to pick up the bags he had left outside his car for Riley to carry. "You can put those right there, I missed you so much, Sam." Riley helped Sam place the bags in the hallway.

Putting the bags away would be a problem for later, right now Riley wanted to see his boyfriend. "Come on sugar." Sam pulled Riley towards him and kissed him deeply, they haven't kissed each other in so long, not since Sam dropped Riley off after their last tour.

Riley sighed happily when they parted, Riley gave Sam one last tight hug before letting go to grab his phone and make sure it wasn't broken. "I'm gonna text my sister and parents to let them know you're here, you could get yourself a drink if you would like."

Sam laughed as he walked towards the kitchen, hearing the laugh made Riley feel safe. "I thought I was a guest, and I thought you were supposed to get guests the drinks." Riley shook his head chuckling.

"This is your house as much as it is mine, you are family which means family gets their own drinks," Riley yelled back teasingly knowing that Sam heard him. "Oh so I can't pull the I'm just your boyfriend card anymore huh?" Sam sat on the couch drink in hand, he lifted his arm already knowing what Riley was going to do.

"Sorry, no can do. What excuse did you use to get away?" Since Sam wasn't out to his family, he had to make excuses every time he visited Riley. "Well." Sam sighed before taking a long sip.

"I didn't make an excuse this time." Riley sat up breaking the hold that Sam had to look at Sam confused. "What do you mean?"

Sam put his drink on the side table before grabbing Riley's hand rubbing it slightly. "I told them I was pansexual, they were confused at first but then once I explained they were happy for me. They were really happy when I told them I had a boyfriend, I showed them the pictures that we took at the photo booth that one time and they thought you were cute." Riley was speechless.

"Oh." That was all that Riley could say. Sam sighed before running his hands through Riley's hair. "You okay? Are you okay that I told them?" Riley nodded quickly.

"Of course I am, I'm just shocked. I didn't think you would ever tell them honestly, at least while you were in the airforce because the fewer people that know are the better. I'm happy for you, and I'm happy that you got a good reaction."

It seemed to appease Sam because he sat against the couch again pulling Riley into another cuddle, there was a meow so Sam patted his lap and Acacia jumped in his lap purring as both Sam and Riley began petting her.

They were watching some random movie that Sam had turned on when the door opened, Riley listened to hear who it was when he heard the heels clicking. "Hey Robin, welcome home."

"I don't know how you do that." Riley looked at Sam who had a smile on his face before Riley laughed. "It's because we're in the air force." Robin snapped nodding her head.

"Yes, the two seals dating." Robin teased watching as Sam's eyes go wide and look at Riley in shock. "Did she just do that?" Riley nodded at Sam, amusement all over his face in watching his sister and boyfriend tease each other.

Sam shook his head slowly in shame. "We aren't seals, the Air Force is by far better. We get to pilot planes, what do the seals do? They have to be on land, that's lame." Robin chuckled before hugging Sam.

When Robin goes towards her room Sam looks at Riley. "We need to get her a chart or something." Sam lets his Louisiana accent lay on thick which makes Riley swoon every time.

"She's just teasing don't worry baby." Riley kisses Sam's cheek before settling down under Sam's arm letting Sam drape his arm around him.

Riley had a smile on his face as he watched the movie, he wasn't paying much attention to the movie but more to the fact that he was with his boyfriend again.
