It was Riley's last day in Louisiana, the couple would be lying if they said they weren't sad about it. Likely the next time they see each other is when they are on deployment and that sucked. "What do you want to do today?" Sam asks turning towards Riley who was laying beside him in Sam's childhood bedroom, they had just woken up and they had the house to themselves.

"I don't know, you have any plans?" Riley asks grabbing Sma's hand that was beside him and interlaced their fingers together. "I'm all yours, but I will say. You haven't got a chance to experience Wilson Family seafood." Suddenly Riley grins.

He rolls over to face Sam, just like the man did before he started talking. "Sounds like we got the plan for the day, I do want to spend tonight dancing under the stars on the pier with you." Sam's face softened, he leaned forward and kissed Riley on the nose making him scrunch his nose cutely. "Even if I can't dance?"

Riley chuckles softly, shaking his head fondly as he laughs. "Yes, even if you can't dance dumbasser," Riley whispered the last part like somehow Mrs. Wilson was going to hear him even though she isn't home.

Riley lets go of Sam's hand and props himself up with his elbow, tilting his head into his hand. "When are we going to get our nicknames tattooed on each other?" Riley asks using his free hand to draw random squiggles on the other man's hand slash arm.

Sam, who was deathly afraid of needles scoffed. "When one of us dies, I will never get a tattoo ever." Sam rolls his eyes and turns back onto his back, looking up at the glow-in-the-dark stars he had his parents put on his ceiling when he was just a kid. Riley pokes him in the shoulder.

"Very mean, I still don't understand how you are scared of needles but you have gotten shot before." Riley rolls his eyes, as much as he loved him he didn't understand his thought process sometimes. "It's different Riles when you get shot you don't expect it, it's fast. With a needle, you have a lot of build-ups, a lot of time to panic about it. Which is, why when I was a kid Ma started to tell the nurses to not count when I got a shot in my arm."

Riley moved and instead of laying back down or leaning against his arm, he sat upon the bed, putting his legs under him in a crisis cross-motion. "Cute, what I would do to meet tiny Sam. Seriously though, you never have to get a tattoo if you didn't want to. I'm sorry if my jokes get on your nerves or something." Sam's eyes went wide as he was listening to his boyfriend talk, he sat up across from Riley in the same motion.

"Hey, you never get on my nerves. Even if I say you do, if this was a different world I would get married to you." They have talked about this a little bit, they knew that people had unions together but it wasn't the same for them. They couldn't be out at their job, so therefore what was the use. They would always have each, certificate or not. It still shocked Riley to hear that.

"Maybe one day it will be a different world, but for now I'm content to stay right where I am in life with you. Now, get up, we should head to the market. I want some seafood." Riley changes the conversation easily so it wouldn't get awkward. Sam opens his mouth but shuts it quickly, he sighs as he rolls out of bed. "I love you," Sam says as he walks into the closet and grabs a random shirt.

"Love you too babe."

AS soon as Riley stepped out of the car he was hit with the overwhelming smell of fish, which he knew it would smell but it was worse than he imagined. He had to swallow harshly to prevent vomiting all over the sidewalk. "You get used to it," Sam says knocking their shoulders together smiling at Riley softly.

"Sorry, I knew it would smell but I didn't know it would be this bad." Riley closes his and takes a deep breath. "Don't worry babe, if you are worried about Dad or Ma being offended don't worry." Right then, as if she knew someone was talking about her Darlene walked up to the couple.

"Someone's having fish nausea huh?" Riley looks at Sam confused but Sam just nods smiling. "I think that we're gonna look around for a little bit then we will leave. I'm gonna show him the boat, where is Daddy at?" Sam asks his Mother looking around for the tall man.

"Your daddy got called to the church, he said he'll be back as soon as he can." Darlene watches as her customer walks towards the seafood stall and leaves the couple with a gentle pat on their arms. "Come on, I wanna show you the boat."

Riley steps into the boat carefully, before following Sam towards the Captain's area. He can see the pictures of tiny Sam propped up on Paul's knee next to the boat, they have matching wide grins on their faces. "You looked so happy," Riley comments running his finger over tiny Sam.

He feels Sam's arms wrap around Riley's waist. "I still am." Riley can't help the tear that falls on his cheek, sniffing quietly as he doesn't want to ruin the moment. It's not quite enough because Sam turns him around to face him, Sam caresses Riley's cheek wiping away the tear gently.

"I'll always be happy when I'm with you," Sam says lips hovering over Riley's as he leans in after he's done talking. Later on, when they are on the pier together under the night sky dancing to some 80s music, Sam will still be happy, as long as Sam is with Riley, the love of his life. He will always be happy.
