Yeah, I haven't updated since February. It's called having a paid job while working on Let Me Be The One when I get home. As of this writing, I happened to get a day off! So let's get started with me trying to describe what the rest of the proposed stories for this series! Plus what I could remember what the third and final part of this whole Popstars:2004 stuff. And an update regarding this fact book!

Yes, detention does suck. Anyway, I don't remember why this band wanted to do that. I guess bad publicity is good publicity?

Pretty sure I named this after a book. And good god that filter! Anyway, apparently there was an all-out war between the girls of early!UTurn and a group of nobodies. 😂😂😂😂(<Had to switch to tablet mode on my laptop for those emojis.)

This is basically Mean Girls but with a band involved. See a reoccurring theme here? Apparently it has gotten worse that now the boys of this band are getting dragged! Sounds like Libby and Ethan vs. UTurn, doesn't it?

I feel like this should be towards the end of the story, but I guess not. I don't remember how they got into London. I'm guessing it was either their manager sent them there, or it was a school trip. Or both.

Amanda, as she is now, would work at a coffee-shop, just not Starbucks. I think it was in the first story of this series that Hannah (early!Amanda) was helping her parents out. I guess she needed her bandmates to help her out. None of them were even 16 yet.

Just when I was nailing the whole S Club 8 2.0 band being in random backgrounds, they go back to being in other people's homes. Anyway, apparently Francine and her rival (I'm guessing an early version of Libby) were fighting over some boy. I don't remember who the guy was, but maybe it was Aaron...?

Why would an 11/12-year-old cook a while Thanksgiving meal with his bandmates who were his age?! Then again, why not? Pop bands who stick together work together. Then again, where is their album?!

Trying to seem all British and everything the spelling. I'm pretty sure they don't spell "winter" like that. If I remember correctly, their school was frozen in because of snow. Please keep in mind the setting was in San Antonio. We only get snow every 30 years or so. Anyway, what else could this pop group do but hold a free gig there!

So apparently I was inspired by an Arthur episode. I'm not getting into that...

I hope early!UTurn were getting paid for these gigs. I don't remember if they did or not. They probably did this for free while not even having an album out. Or maybe they did. I'll get into that later.

Of course S Club 8 2.0 would face a group of nobodies! I think if I remember correctly, this band was releasing new music, but they had a thing called school. So...

Now for the grand finale! So I was right! This band was releasing new music, even in Britain! If I remember correctly, this band did meet the OG S Club 8. I don't remember much else, but they were finally going places.

Malibu Juniors Proposed Plot:

I may or may not make a banner for this as closure for this entire series. If I remember correctly, the plot of Malibu Juniors was going to be similar to Zoey 101 in some way or another. I think it was the band and their class going to Malibu for the summer before heading to eighth grade. I don't know how this story was going to end, but I'm pretty sure early!UTurn was going to become even bigger than ever while juggling school.

Final Thoughts+Updates:

In all honesty, this series was clearly very cheesy and fluffy. The plot of this is similar to shows like Hannah Montana and Big Time Rush. If I had continued with this series, I'm pretty sure I would've kept this band going into their high school years and maybe even in their early 20s. Yet I didn't continue. I ended up writing S Club 8 fanfiction for a long while. I didn't go back to these characters  until around 2009/2010 when I was barely 21, and then again a year later.

If you were to read the current version of Let Me Be The One, and the rough drafts of the entire One Series, you would see some aspects of the Popstars series. I'm currently trying to incorporate some of this into the rewriting of The One Series. Now the scenes and scenarios will be completely different as the cast in The One Series are around 16/17, the setting is mostly in Boston, and the content is more mature, but not NSFW. It's just not cheesy, cringy, and fluffy. Even elements of English 8 Meets American 5 will be in the second book of the series, titled The Wanted. 

As I've said, I plan to write a short story to finally give closure to this Popstars series. It'll be the first story to appear on the The One Series anthology companion book. As I've said before, the anthology will comprise of short stories and novellas written in the style of fanfiction. They'll be in the perspective of a UTurn fan writing these works. I want to give proper closure to that 15-year-old series that should've been written and completed. I'll make sure it's cheesy and fluffy enough. Plus, if you're a fan of Andyson, you'll love the ending.

Now that incarnation of UTurn is finally finished, coming up next are two plot ideas for the early versions of UTurn that were never written. One of them happens to be a fanfiction crossover between this version of UTurn and S Club 8.
