Popstars:2004-I Dream of Being A Popstar (Early "The One Series" #2) (Part2)
Here's part two of "I Dream of Being A Popstar." As you can tell, the early versions of UTurn had different siblings than in "The One Series." In the next chapter, I have an announcement to make regarding "The One Series."

Chapter 6:Sweetist Sorrow and Excitement (Part 1)
S Club 6 went to Jive Records gave them $2000 and got back $1000. They all went back home to tell their family.
Frankie's POV:
I hope my mom doesn't mind
me singing.
Frankie went to her apartment to tell her mom about the big news. She so worried what her mom would say. Considering she Jewish, she probably isn't allowed to be a popstar.
"Mom," Frankie began, nervously, "you know I have talent since like, forever."
"Okay," said her mom, suspiciously.
"You know I've always wanted to be a popstar, right?"
"You're not getting a recording contract," her mom said firmly.
"Mom, I'm going solo!"
"I heard you formed a British group."
"The group is called S Club 6 and they're not British."
"Like I said, you're not getting it."
"Mom, S Club 6 and I got the contract."
"WHAT?!" exclaimed Mrs. Frensky.
"But we deserve to fulfil our dream of being a popstar."
"Alright, but never again I want to hear the two words, 'recording contract'."
Frankie had mixed feelings about her mom's rejection. It's like no one understood her.
Aaron's POV:
My family is gonna hate me
for this.
Aaron went to his house slowly because he was afraid of his family's reaction. He saw his twin older siblings watching The OC. Nah, I shouldn't bother them, Aaron thought.
He tried to find his twin younger siblings. They were reading a book. He felt like the house was quiet, everything calm.
"Aaron," said Amanda, his 15-year-old twin sister.
"Oh, hey," Aaron said quietly.
"Is something wrong?" asked James, his 15-year-old twin brother.
"Uh, I got a r-recording c-contract," Aaron stammered.
"That's cool...oh," said Mandy, as Aaron called her.
"What?"
"Our parents will hate that."
"Oh no."
Aaron dreaded this. Damn, I hate it when my sister is right, he thought.
"Aaron, there you are," said his mom.
"Where were you?" his dad asked.
"I'm a popstar."
"Keep your mouth shut about that!" his mom said.
Aaron felt hot. He wished his parents were okay with this.

Chapter 7:Sweetist Sorrow and Excitement (Part 2)
Staci's POV:
I can't wait to tell Elisha!
Staci came to her house and saw Elisha putting on her flip-flops. It's time now, Staci thought.
"Elisha, guess what?" Staci asked excitedly.
"What?" Elisha asked, "better make it fast."
"I'm now a popstar!"
"Shut up!"
"I'm so serious!"
"You'll be a solo artist no time!"
"I know!"
Staci was so happy that she sang Lucky. It was her favourite Britney S. song. Her happiness makes her feel like calling Anna and Emma, her clique members.
Calvin's POV:
I wonder what my mom
will think?
Katelyn's POV:
I'm on my way to stardom!
Katelyn and Calvin came to their upper-class home. They were so nervous that they felt like fainting.
"Katelyn! Calvin!" their mom exclaimed.
They fainted. They were still holding the note. Their mom read it.
Mom,
Guess what? Katelyn and I (Calvin) got a recording contract! Isn't that cool?"
Calvin
Their mom was so happy that it finally happened. She woke them up.
"Calvin, Katelyn, I'm so proud of both of you!"
They smiled. Their nervousness was gone. Katelyn and Calvin both sang Sundown. Their dreams of becoming popstars were coming true.
Jay came to his home. He lived in the suburbs. He felt so nervous that he felt like eating a burger. You see, he can eat just about anything and stayed thin.
"Mom, Matt, I'm home," Jay called.
"Jay!" his eight-year-old sister, Mary, exclaimed.
"Hey, sis!"
Jay tried to pick up Mary, but couldn't.
"Hi Jay," said his mom.
"Mom, you know I can sing, right?" Jay asked.
"I thought you weren't crazy about you talent," Mrs. Baxter replied.
"Well, I got a recording contract!" Jay said excitedly.
"OMG! OMG! MY SON, HAVING A RECORDING CONTRACT!!"
"OMG, I know!"

Chapter 8:Aaron's Problem
It was Monday and Frankie, Aaron, Staci, Calvin, and Jay couldn't but show a whole lot of grins. Everyone shouted, "S Club rocks! S Club rocks!"
They were the first fans of S Club 6. Frankie picked up the Teen Gossip school magazine and saw their picture. Frankie grinned with happiness.
"Hey guys, look," said Frankie, while holding the magazine.
The S Clubbers cooed at the cover.
"I can't believe on a cover of magazine!" said Staci.
"This is so surreal," said Jay.
Everyone looked at the magazine while Aaron stayed behind. He still thought of his parents taunting words
"Keep your mouth shut about it!" his parents' word sticked like glue in his head. Aaron was so scared about his parents that he decided to take the long walk from school. But then again, take the short walk.
It was after-school, the S Clubbers got together to practice singing their new single. But Katelyn wanted to sing something else.
"Listen, we're singing One Step Closer and that's final!" Frankie argued.
"Fine, I'll give it one more day," said Katelyn. "But after that, I quit!"
"Where's Aaron?" Staci asked.
Aaron was seen walking down the street. Aaron looked very quiet. He was still scared of his parents.
"Yo Aaron!" said Calvin.
He said nothing.
"Aaron?"
Nothing.
"Earth to Aaron?"
Still nothing.
"Is something wrong?" Jay asked.
Aaron shook his head. He sat down on the grass.
"Aaron, please talk to us!" Staci whined.
"You're a whiner," Aaron muttered.
"What?"
"Nothing."
"What's wrong?" Frankie asked. "You've been so quiet today."
"My parents," Aaron's voice broke. His tears fell out.
"I'm...scared of...them."
"It's alright," Frankie comforted him.
There was never a connection between them. They were just friends. Back in 2002, Aaron had to repeat the third grade. He had poor grades.
He was one of the school bullies. When Calvin, Frankie, and Jay pulled a prank on Aaron, he decided to become friends with them.
Now he has a recording contract and his parents are mad at him. He told his friends what happen on Saturday.
"I'm sorry," is all Aaron could say.
"So are we," said Staci.
They all hugged him. They were friends and nothing could tear them apart, or so they thought.

Chapter 9:The Drop-out
It was two days till recording S Club 6's version of One Step Closer. Frankie, Aaron, Staci, and Jay went to the Reid residents.
When Katelyn started singing, she sang flatly. She desperately wanted to sing something else. She suggested Overprotected.
"Please, can we?" asked Katelyn.
"No!" said Frankie.
"C'mon, just this once?" Katelyn whined.
"Listen, we said no. That's final."
"You're no fair!"
"I think we should drop out Katelyn," whispered Staci.
"What do you think she should do?" asked Calvin.
"Get her own recording contract," said Frankie.
"I think it's time to start singing something else," said Katelyn.
"Have you ever thought of getting a recording contract, by yourself?" asked Frankie.
"Yeah, I have."
"Well, go get one."
"No, not right now."
"Uh, okay."
Katelyn:
I've been waiting
Such a long time
Just trying to get through
"This is such a drag," complained Katelyn.
"Do you wanna do this or not?!" Calvin argued.
"You know what?! I quit!" said Katelyn.
"Fine! Who cares!" said Staci.
"Fine, I'll go!"
"Fine, you will!"
"I'll get my own recording contract!"
"FINE!!"
"FFIINNEE!!
With that, Katelyn slammed the door. S Club wasn't a six anymore.
"What do you think we should do now?" asked Jay.
"The group stays, but we need a different name now," said Frankie.
"Let's do S Club Juniors," said Aaron.
"No, let's do S Club 5."
"Okay," they all agreed.
They didn't need Katelyn. They got their own blonde. Staci.

Chapter 10:One Step Closer to Stardom
It was time to record One Step Closer. The recording session was going well. Aaron's fears were gone. Being a popstar meant that you have to go through criticism.
After the session, S Club 5 grew popular. Instead of a group for the school, they were getting more noticed across San Antonio.
"Francine, Aaron, Staci, Calvin and Jay," their manager, Simon Fuller, began, "do you want to record an album?"
They cheered, "Yes!"
"Very well."
"I can't believe it! We're actually gonna record a CD!" said Frankie.
"It's a dream come true!" said Staci, dreamily.
It was just the beginning.
It was Friday and S Club 5 were told to perform at the ----------- Auditorium. They decided to perform their up-coming single.
"Stardom, here we come!" said S Club 5.
FIN!

So yeah, that last chapter was very short, and it revealed their location being San Antonio. As I've said, this was a very cringy piece of work I made over ten years ago at age 14. Coming up next week will be another excerpt from "Popstars:2004," only this time it'll be a lot shorter. It's still just as cringy.
