Part One

Prologue

There was a boy and a girl at an elementary in Boston, Mass. The school was Josiah Quincy School in the Beacon Hill neighborhood.

This boy and girl had just graduated the fifth grade. They, with their friends and other fifth graders, were part of the Class of 2001. But this boy and girl hate each other. The boy is the school's main bully, while the girl is no better than he is. Yet despite this, they both secretly liked each other, but only for each others' looks.

All the fifth graders just had their graduation ceremony, and now the school was having a party. As the party was drawing to a close, the boy and girl got into the biggest fight they ever had. It all ended with this comment from the girl.

Girl: "I hate you! I've hated you since the day we met, and I still hate you today! I'll never be your girlfriend! I'll never marry you! I wish bad stuff on you! I wish you were dead!"

Everyone stared at the girl, including her parents. The boy was shocked sadden. His eyes and face said it all. He started to tear up, and ran out of the school.

Before he knew it, he was hit by car.

Chapter One

August 31st, 2008

It's been seven years since the fifth graders at Josiah Quincy School graduated. Only a few went to the Quincy Upper School, due to overcrowding.

Two of those fifth graders that went to that middle school are now arriving to their dorm rooms at the New York City of Fine Arts College. This college has media arts, visual arts, culinary arts, and performing arts. These two people are two best friends, Stacey Emerson and Eliza Frensky. Stacey is blonde, while Eliza is a brunette who's desperate to have blonde hair.

Eliza: "I kind of wish my boyfriend is here with me."

Stacey: "Ely, you know that long-distance relationships wouldn't work. Besides, you cheated on you with another girl."

Eliza: "At least your boyfriend Ashton is at NYU."

Stacey: (gushing) "I know! He's hot, even though he's pursuing computer administrating."

As these two girls entered their dorm room, they saw another girl.

Eliza: "Oh sorry, I didn't know this was this your room."

Girl: "I'm Rachel, and you two can room with me. "

Eliza: "Hi Rachel, I'm Eliza, and this is Stacey. We're both from Boston, where do you live?"

Rachel noticed the boxes Stacey and Eliza were holding. She saw their names on the boxes.

Rachel: "Eliza Frensky. I remember an Eliza at my elementary school. We were best friends, that is before we were forced to go to separate upper schools."

Eliza: "I did have a friend named Rachel at the school, I think it was Quincy School."

Stacey: "Oh yeah, I remember! I was part of your circle. I think her name was Rachel Gonzales."

Rachel: "OMG, I'm Rachel Gonzales, and I did go to Quincy School!"

For a second, the girls stood their shocked. Then they hugged each other.

Stacey: "OMG, long time no see!"

Rachel: "Did you two go to high school together?"

Stacey: "Yup! We were in the cheerleaders squad, the dance team, the theater club, and the glee club."

Eliza: "Yet, we were popular for our looks and our hot boyfriends."

Stacey: "And we were cheerleaders."

At the same time, a boy who used to be in Josiah Quincy School but ended up in a different middle school, Aaron Barnes, entered his dorm room. It was empty. As Aaron was about get more of his boxes, he saw a boxes labeled 'Eliza Frensky'. Just then, a brunette girl came out of her dorm room.

Aaron: "Are you Eliza Frensky?"

Eliza: (nervously) "Yeah, how do you know?"

Aaron: "I saw your name on your boxes."

Eliza: (laughing) "Oh yeah. So what's your name?"

Aaron: (muttering) "You've grown up."

Eliza: "What?"

Aaron: (nervously) "You don't remember me, do you?"

Eliza: (uncomfortably) "Um, not really."

Aaron: "I'm Aaron Barnes."

Eliza dropped her box, and closed her door.

When Eliza closed the door, Stacey and Rachel stared at her.

Eliza: (shocked) "That was Aaron Barnes!"

Stacey and Rachel gasped.

Stacey: "Aaron Barnes, as in, the bully you hated with all your life?"

Eliza: "Yes, him. He's kind of hot, though."

Aaron stood there when Eliza closed the door on him. He knocked, Eliza opened it.

Aaron: (nervously) "Um, you left your boxes outside."

Eliza grabbed all the boxes, but as tried to carry all of them by herself, Aaron grabbed a few.

Aaron: "Let me help you."

As Eliza was trying to fight Aaron off, they both fell. Aaron laughed a little.

Eliza: (angrily) "Why are you doing this? Why are you helping me? You never helped me! You always tried to make me trip and fall."

Aaron: (quietly) "Eliza, I'm sorry for everything I've done to you. I've changed. I just wanna make it up to you."

Eliza said nothing, and just pushed her boxes into her room. Aaron got up, and walked sadly to his room.

When Aaron entered his room, he saw another boy in there. The boy had blonde hair.

Boy: "I saw what was going on. You're Aaron something, and that girl was Eliza."

Aaron: "It's Aaron Barnes, and the girl is Eliza Frensky."

Boy: (surprised) "Aaron Barnes? Eliza Frensky? What are you two doing here?"

Aaron: (nervously) "How do you know us?"

Boy: (coldly) "I'm Edward Reid."

Aaron: "Wow, I'm guessing all the class of 2001 fifth graders are here. I know my girlfriend from that school is here."

Edward: "Who's your girlfriend?"

Aaron: "Hannah Smith. The little blonde girl, you remember?"

At the same time, the 'little blonde girl from the Class of 2001' Hannah Smith entered her dorm room with her three friends, Chelsea and Kelsey. All three girls are blonde.

Hannah: (beaming) "Girls, I know we had to leave our boyfriends back at Boston, but I know we made the right choice."

As they entered their room, they saw another girl.

Hannah: (snobby tone) "Um, who are you? And what the f*** are you doing here?"

Girl #2: (irritated) "Um, I'm sure we can fit 4 girls in this room."

Kelsey: "Hannah, we can't switch rooms. Besides, the best one here!"

Hannah: "Ok, fine. I'm Hannah Smith, and these are my bitches, Kelsey Cohen and Chelsea Steward."

Girl #2: "You're Hannah Smith? I didn't think you'd turn into a bitch!"

Hannah: "Do I know you?"

Girl #2: (snobby tone) "It's Rochelle Tompkins, but everyone calls me Roxy. I pretty much force people to call me Roxy, but you may have forgotten."

Hannah: (shocked) "OMFG, I didn't recognize you!"

Roxy: "Figures. Look, you can room with me."

Hannah smiled as she started unpacking.

Hannah: "Roxy, do you remember Aaron Barnes?"

Roxy: (suspiciously) "Yeah."

Hannah: "He's my boyfriend, and a student here at this college."

Chelsea: (smiling "He's actually quite hot."

Kelsey: "And a great dancer."

Roxy was speechless.

Chapter 2

August 31st, 2008

It's now night, and all the freshmen are at a party at a nearby club. Stacey, Eliza, and Rachel were talking, doing a lot of catching up.

Rachel: "So, my dad is now the CEO of Boston's biggest real estate agency. Even though the recession has hit us, my dad has another successful job: The FBI."

Eliza: (nervously) "Um, your dad isn't gonna investigate us, is he?"

Rachel: "You and your families aren't terrorists, so you're good."

Stacey: "Eliza, do you remember your very first boyfriend, Edward Reid?"

Eliza: "Oh yeah. He was adorable. He looked like Aaron Carter with glasses. Why you asking?"

Stacey: "Well, I ran into Aaron in the hallway, and I was reunited with Eddie! Both guys are actually hot."

Rachel: "Eliza, you told me you broke up with your boyfriend before you left Boston, right?"

Eliza: "Yeah."

Rachel: "You can get Eddie back in your life!"

Stacey: "Ely, that's Eddie!"

Eliza stared at Edward. She remember Edward being a blond guy with glasses. Now he's not wearing glasses, and he's hair is darker.

Rachel: "Go over, and talk to him!"

Eliza: "What if he's got a girlfriend...or he's gay?"

Stacey: "Just go!"

At the same time, Edward and Aaron met up with two other guys from the dorm house at the club.

Guy #2: "I'm Brad, and this my roommate Jake. I can't believe we graduated from the same elementary school."

Jake looked like an emo, while Brad looked like Ne-Yo.

Aaron: "What school did you two go to?"

Brad: "Josiah Quincy."

Edward: "My former friend was named Jake. I haven't heard from him since we went to separate middle schools."

Jake: "What was his last name?"

Edward: "Baxter. Why, are you Jake Baxter?"

Jake: "Yeah, that means you're Edward Reid!"

Brad: (turning to Aaron) "But who are you?"

Aaron: (nervously) "Um, Aaron Barnes."

Brad and Jake were silent.

Edward: (grudgingly) "He's my roommate, unfortunately."

Aaron: "Look, I'm like that anymore. I'm not a bully. I wasn't while I was in middle and high school."

Just then, Eliza came up to the boys.

Eliza: (nervously) "Hi, can I talk to Edward?"

Jake: "Which one? This British guy with the no accent, or the vampire in a movie?"

Jake was the only one laughed.

Edward: "I'm the Brit with no accent guy. Edward Reid."

Eliza: "I'm Eliza Frensky. We used to date during the fourth and fifth grades."

Edward smiled.

Edward: "I never forgot you."

Eliza: "I'm single, so do you wanna be a couple again?"

Edward: "I'm single too, and I've missed you."

Then the two leaned forward to kiss each other, for they never kissed each other. Brad and Jake noticed Aaron's face looked sad.

Brad: "Aaron, you ok?"

Aaron: "I guess. Eliza, my girlfriend is here with me."

Eliza: (scoffing) "Why would a girl date you? Oh wait, why would any one date you?"

Then Aaron texted on his iPHONE. Just then, Hannah, Roxy, Kelsey, and Chelsea came to the boys and Eliza.

Hannah: "Hey Aaron, what is it?"

Aaron: "Hannah, you may remember Eliza, Edward, Brad, and Jake."

Roxy: (happily) "OMG, Eliza! Long time no see!"

Both Eliza and Roxy hugged, even though Eliza didn't recognize her.

Hannah: "She's Roxy, and these two blondes are Kelsey and Chelsea."

Just then, Stacey and Rachel arrived.

Stacey: "Ely, what's going on? Is Eddie your boyfriend again?"

Edward and Eliza smiled at each other.

Eliza: "Look likes everyone from Josiah Quincy School is here, well, except for Kelsey and Chelsea."

Aaron: "Are all of you pursuing performing arts?"

Everyone except Brad and Jake admitted they were pursuing performing arts. Brad and Jake are pursuing visual arts.

Edward: "To the Class of 2001 of Josiah Quincy School."

Everyone (except Kelsey and Chelsea) raised their alcoholic drinks. This is going to be one crazy freshmen year.

Chapter 3

September 2nd, 2008

It's the first day of school at the New York Fine Arts College. For some students, their first class was Choreography 1. Edward, Eliza, Hannah, Aaron, Stacey, Kelsey, and ten other students were in the class. The teacher was Carrie Ann.

Carrie Ann: "Okay, I need groups of four people. Each group do a piece of any dance style. Then at the end of this semester, you will perform the piece. I'm going to start with Barnes."

Aaron looked at Eliza.

Aaron: "I want Eliza in my group."

Eliza was pissed.

Eliza: "We both want Edward and Hannah."

Hannah and Edward shrugged, and joined Eliza and Aaron.

When lunch time came, Eliza, Stacey, and Rachel were sitting at their table. They only had 15 minutes till their US History 1 class started.

Stacey: "Why did Aaron have you in his group?"

Rachel: "What group?"

Stacey: "I texted you earlier."

Rachel: "Oh yeah. I was in College Algebra."

Eliza: "I don't know. I didn't ask him. As we got together, I saw him dance. He was really good. Ugh, I still hate him."

Rachel: "Hannah told me that Aaron has changed, but I won't believe it until I see it."

Stacey: "I agree, but he does seem nice. Maybe he changed."

Eliza: "Girls, don't you see? Aaron is the same stupid jerk, and he hasn't changed! A few months ago, I was on my MySpace talking to one those students went to school with us, Suzie-"

Rachel: "Susan Johnson?"

Eliza: "Last year, I found her on MySpace, so I added her. She went to the same high school as Aaron. Anyway, Aaron talked to me through Suzie's MySpace!"

Rachel: "What did he say?"

Eliza: "He greeted me. He told me he missed me and 'apologized' for treating everyone like shit. I told him to f*** off and never talk to me again."

Rachel: "So Aaron and Suzie are friends?"

Stacey: "Apparently. Look, we gotta go to class."

At the same time, Edward sat with Brad. They had a bit more time to eat. Just then, Aaron came by to their table.

Aaron: (meekly) "Can I sit?"

Edward and Brad glared at him.

Aaron: (louder) "Look, I'm sorry for everything I've done to everyone. But I promise I'm not like that anymore."

Edward: (coldly) "So I should believe you?"

Aaron: "Well...yeah."

Brad: "Maybe we should give Aaron a chance."

Aaron: "Really?"

Brad: "If you show by your actions that you changed, then I'll accept you."

Edward: "I won't. I don't trust The Monster."

Aaron: (pleading) "Edward, that may have been my old nickname, but I'm telling the truth! I'm a changed man!"

Edward: (angrily) "Honestly, I don't know why you're my roommate! I just wish you went to a different college and stay the hell away from us!"

Aaron was sadden by the comment. As Edward was leaving his table, Brad gave Aaron this comment.

Brad: "By your actions, I'll see if you're worth being my friend."

Then Aaron sat down alone. Hannah, his girlfriend, was sitting with her roommates when she saw Aaron sitting by himself. She took her tray and sat next to him.

Hannah: "Aaron, you okay?"

Aaron: (sadly) "Everybody hates me. The only sensible one is Brad, and even he's questioning me."

Hannah: "It'll be ok. Everyone will see that you're not the same guy from fifth grade."

Aaron: "I hope so. You were my only friend after the fifth grade graduation even though we went to different schools."

Then Hannah and Aaron smiled and kissed.

Chapter 4

October 16th, 2008

It's been a month, and so far almost half of the freshmen dropped out of NYFA College. The other half are holding on.

A month earlier, a lot students auditioned to join the college's dance company, The NYFA Dance Co. The dance company allows students to choreograph their pieces, then perform them every final exams.

It was Aaron's hour to rehearse his piece, and as Stacey was outside the dance studio on her cell phone. She's talking to her boyfriend who's at NYU, Ashton.

Stacey: (frustrated) "Ashton, we haven't been on a date since we both started college. I really wanna be with you!"

Ashton: (irritated) "Stacey, you know that I'm pursuing-"

Stacey: "Computer administration, and I'm pursuing performing arts, I get it. But just cuz we're pursuing different careers and going to different colleges doesn't mean we stop seeing each other. I want to see you this Saturday. Got it?"

Ashton: (grudgingly) "Ok fine! We'll go to your favourite restaurant this Saturday."

Stacey hung up, then she went back into the dance studio. Aaron saw her come in.

Aaron: "Stacey, is everything alright?"

Stacey: (sadly) "Can I have one day off?"

Aaron: "Sure."

So Stacey left the dance studio.

Stacey went to the dorm lounge. She wanted to watch TV, but Jake was watching a horror movie.

Stacey: "Jake, what are you watching?

Jake didn't answer.

Stacey: "Jake, what happened to you? I remember you the biggest goofball in back in fifth grade. Now you're all emo and depressing."

Jake paused the movie.
