Seokjin greeted him with a smile, Jungkook gave him a nod and walk pass him without giving him a glance or even utter a word. "young master, your father asked me to have a dinner with him tonight...will it be alright if you would allo--"Seokjin was suddenly grabbed by his wrist, Jungkook's overwhelming power made Seokjin shiver in fear,"what happened to listen and obey?"Jungkook said glaring at his human servant, Seokjin gulped.

"y-young master...I am going to meet your father for my renewal on my contract as your royal servant, I have to add another 5 more years to serve you....young master..."Seokjin said to
Jungkook, He was able to stay calm even though the fear was slowly eating him, Jungkook loosen his grip on to Seokjins wrist and let go of him.

"do as you wish...be back before midnight"

Jungkook said as he begun to walk away leaving Seokjin who cower in fear, his body trembled, Seokjin gulped before fixing his posture.

"Yes...young master..."

With a bitter feeling, Seokjin followed his young master as he puts a distance between them.

"are you sure you have everything written down?" Seokjin once asked Seulgi for the 5th time as he adjusted the scarf that was wrap around his neck, Seulgi chuckle. "yes Mr. Kim, you don't have to worry....but I am more worried about you...you are going to meet the young masters father after all...are you not frightened Mr. Kim?"Seulgi said to Seokjin who shook his head.

"what is there to be scared of? It's only a dinner and for my renewal in contract"Seokjin said along with a chuckle, Seulgi smile. "yes...my apologies...you are right...since the young masters father adores a person like you Mr. Kim" Seulgi said to Seokjin who entered the carriage, Seokjin giggled.

"Well...then...please do be careful"

Jeon Jinwoo said, Seokjin chuckle at his young masters father, Jinwoo laughs, "How is my son?..."He said as he poured a glass of wine, Seokjin smiled a bit.

Seokjin said along with a sigh, Jinwoo shakes his head in sadness.

"....I see...I am ashamed of myself...I was not able to fulfill my role as his father...He grew up to be someone I never wanted him to be"Jinwoo said, His eyes shifted to the glass of wine, He could see his reflection through it. Seokjin chuckle,"please do not discourage yourself....I am certain the young master will soon appreciate your hard work"Seokjin said smiling gently at Jinwoo, a heavy weight in his heart was slowly being lifted thanks to Seokjins way of words.

"so...let us discuss about the renewal for your contract...you want to stay as his royal servant for?..."

"5 years..."

When Jinwoo was about to lift his finger and place the number of years at the contract paper, He stop and glance at Seokjin. "this is why my son has chosen you as his royal servant....your loyal, you listen and obey...and above all you are the only royal servant who has not been slaughtered by my son for thousands of generations"Jinwoo said as he spread a smirk, Seokjin noticed it, He laughs.

"I try not to...my loyalty is only for you and the young master...I do not have any reason to stay unloyal"Seokjin said earning a chuckle from Jinwoo, He nodded in approval.

"what about Elizabeth....did she?"

"earlier this morning....she sent 5 letters to the young master..."

"and?"

Jinwoo had already expected it, judging from the way Seokjins expression changed. "unfortunately, lady Elizabeth does not pique the young masters standards...."Seokjin said looking at Jinwoo, He chuckle and drank the last bit of his wine.

"and the letters?"

"Burnt to ashes"

"are you sure you do not want me to give you a ride back at the Manor?" Jinwoo said as he was already inside the carriage,I shaked my head. "it is such a waste to not enjoy this fine night with a walk...but thank you..." I said smiling at the young master's father, He gave me one last look before nodding in response.

"good bye Seokjin...."

With that, the carriage left leaving me on the side of the road, I took a deep breath inhaling the fresh air of the city.

It was indeed a beautiful night, royal servants and a normal servants are different, why?, well...one keeps their own life while the other has their life in someone else's palm. Royal servants are meant to stay with their master for a very long time, as long as their master is alive we will live longer....longer than the average servants, signing that contract was like making a deal with the devil in exchange I gave my soul to the young master in order to escape the life I have lived way before I met them.
