She woke up the next morning and found that Lucius was gone. After she relaxed in the bath for hours, she went back to the bedroom and slipped under the covers. Lucius had already been asleep to her pleasure.

She got out of bed and grabbed her robe and retreated down the stairs to the dining room. As she entered, she found Lucius with the morning newspaper in one hand, and a cup of tea in the other. Hermione seated herself in her chair and began to eat her croissant Stickles had brought her. As she ate, he lowered his paper and looked at her. He grinned his menacing smile as he put his tea cup down and crossed his arms over his chest. Hermione just glared at him and turned her head.

"Oh come now, don't be a brat." He said sneering at her. "I left because of you! To give you space!" He yelled slamming his fist down on the table, making her jump.

"You've never done it before Lucius, why change now!?" She argued back. "You left because you know what you did was wrong! Because you did it in front of Severus and are...." Before she knew it he had gotten up from the table and rushed over to her and slapped her. She gasped as he grabbed her arms and pinned her down to her chair.

"Don't. Ever. Say. Such. Things." He said through gritted teeth. He released her arms and threw the table in anger. "You are such a fucking complicated woman! I cant see how i ever loved you!" He seether. She turned her head.

"I don't know what i ever saw in you." She said in barely a whisper. He stormed out of the Room, leaving her grasping her shoulders and quavering in her chair. As she let the tears escape her eyes, she heard the front door slam. She sobbed, hugging herself, screaming out the pain as she cried. She was just so fed up with it all. She was glad he said what he did, she had known those were his true feelings for a long time.

After she composed herself, she ran to her room and changed. She was going to Rose's, and she hoped that she would run into him.
