"So you want, the house special and coffee right?"

The blonde girl slowly nods her head as she takes a slow sip from her water. I can see her leg bobbing up and down, almost like she's trying to get me to look down at her bare legs.Tsk, what is with these girls, annoying. "Coming up." I rip the ticket from the book to give to the cooks behind the window. I don't like being a waiter, in fact, I hate it a lot, the pay sucks, the other waiters hate me and it seems every girl wants me as their waiter. The only upside to this job is I only do it part-time, and I guess the tips aren't bad.

Returning to the sad reality, I take the order over to the blonde, setting it in front of her and asking if she needs anything else, I start to leave but some metal hits the floor. "Sir, I need a new fork." Groaning to myself, I bend down to get the fork from the floor, gripping the fork, I feel the top part of her heal go under my chin, she forces me to look up at her, her eyes are slanted, almost like she'll eat me rather than the meal in front of her. "Thank you~" I shake her foot out from under my neck, I retrieve a new fork from another table and slam it in front of her. The nerve of the girl.

When it's time to close up, I count my tips for the day, with it I'm getting closer to getting my own place finally and I won't have to be sleeping here with these guys. In the back is a decent size room that fits us all to sleep in but, I keep having nightmares, mostly my family leaving me...it's not a good dream to have ever. We all settle into our beds, the bigger one who is named Randy sleeps the closest to me and he's not afraid to wake me up with water if I start to scream in the middle of the night.

"Hey, tonight keep it quiet, us full-timers need to have out rest and some shit like you is keeping us from doing out best."

I ignore his babbling and get into bed. *Those three are no better than I, they don't have the place to say either. They're no better.* Closing my eyes I try to get some sleep, I stick my hand under my pillow, I hold onto my wallet there also, in front I put a small mousetrap, the screaming will wake me up I know that for sure. I feel the sweetness of sleep start to come over me, I just hope I get some sweet dreams from it though.

"Zeref, darling can you go in the house and get me something?"

"Sure, what is it?"

"Oh uh my hat, I need it for the trip. Don't want sun damage."

I nod to her, Our whole family is taking a trip to the beach for Natsu's birthday. All of them are already in the car, things packed and ready to go, all I need to do is get the hat and we're on our way. Inside I see mother's hat on the table, I take the hat, dusting off some things and smile about our upcoming bounding moment. I race back outside but, I'm left with a broken heart, the car is gone, no family insight. "Mom? Dad? Natsu?!" I see all my stuff thrown out the car, with a note saying 'goodbye for good' I start to cry into the hat, with each hiccup the cry gets louder.

"HEY!" I get dragged out of my bed to met the hard floor. I see Randy and his backup looking down at me. "What the hell is your problem?!" I get to my feet to look Randy square in the face, his eyes are daggers into my own. "I've had it with your pussy yelling, I'm gonna kill you." Before I could even react, his goons take a hold on me, while Randy starts to beat on me, at first I just take it, but only cause I'm waiting for the right time for me to make my own move. After a few good hits, I can feel the blood from my nose pool to my lips, my cheeks cry from the wind hitting the open skin. "This will be a good reminder, eh? He pulls back only for me to kick him full force in the stomach.

The other two are shocked by what they see which is good for me. I got my wallet thankfully and run like hell to the from the door. I wasn't even close to leaving Randy behind, he grabs my ankle which for me is bad. I crash onto the floor, hurting my shoulder in the process. He turns me around, hold my hips down with his legs and starts where he left off.

"It amazes me that he's able to wake up from something like this. They really did a number on him."

I hear some females talking around me, it's too painful to open my eyes but I do just a little bit. I see two girls on either side of me, one with chocolate brown hair and another dirty blonde. Can't they let me sleep, this is just too weird. I squeeze my eyes before opening them fully, the girls smile at me when they see me awake. "Well good morning, how are you feeling Mr.Dragneel?"

"How, How do you know my last name?"

"We looked at your wallet. We needed it for your id bracelet. You don't know where you are, do you?"

I was stiff when I such my head no, the dirty blonde was about to answer before another voice answers." Are you two bothering more people again?" We all look over to see another blonde holding a clipboard. Her face is full of annoyance and her nurses could tell its cause of them.

"R-Right, Uh,Sorry Sir."

The two run out of the room, leaving the other blonde checking my IV bag and how my wounds are doing. She looks short to be here, but she looks very smart to be here. "Well, it's good to see you're awake. We all thought you'd be in some kind of coma after arriving here."

"Well, maybe next time."

"What a messed up joke."

She walks away from the bed and goes to the door. I feel like that may have not been the best thing to say to the nurse who can get me tied to a bed. "Uh Nurse, I didn't mean to say it that way, my bad."

"It's fine, I've heard worse from others."

She scribbles more on her clipboard before looking over to me again. "Oh, I forgot to bring something in." She puts the board down and steps out of the room, a few moments later she comes back with a vase full of red roses. When she sets it down at the end of my bed it makes me wonder who care enough to buy these for me?

"Who are these from?"

"Some of the females here wanted to buy it for you. It goes against code but, they insisted."

"So did you help buy them too?"

I give her just a little smirk, but she walks back to her board. "Sorry, maybe next time." With a tiny chuckle, she moves on to her next room but not before I yell for her again. "Hey, miss?" Looking up, she waits for my question. "What's your name anyway?"

"Mavis and I'll be your nurse."
