Roslyn Garcia was always moving around growing up as her father was in the military. She was always the quiet kid in school where people would either avoid or spread rumors, because she can see spirits. From a car accident that had fatally killed her mother when she was nine-years-old.

How she came across the Winchester brothers was at school, she was friends with Sam. They shared their interests and they became fast friends after that. When Roslyn and her father was moving around, Ros and Sam kept in contact.

So years later when Sam. had called a friend of his to help him and his older brother, Dean. She immediately jumped in to help and assist whenever she was needed.

Another reason why she jumped so quickly of Sam calling her, is because she wants to rekindle their relationship, as they had to separate once again after high school.

That and because Roslyn has romantic feelings for Sam, but she never got a chance to admit them. She wanted to wait for the right time.
