The large event room of harem was deadly silent. All the ladies of the harem were present. Women of Maharana along with women of Kunwarsa Adhrik. The three queens of Maharana sat on their throne while other women stood accordingly on either side of thrones.

The tension was thick in the air. The two wives of Kunwarsa Adhrik Singh Raghuvanshi, stood facing each other. One trembling with anger and other as calm with a stoic face.

Baijisa looked like an exact replica of Maharani Jayvanta baisa, with her gorgeous looks, gracious posture and elegance dripping out of her body though her face was blank and eyes fiery.

"How dare you?" Seethed Veer baisa, "How dare you betray my banma?" She yelled.

While Baijisa stood there raising a single eyebrow. "No one taught you that only lovers of concubines are called 'banma' and not your very own husband. Did they?" She asked very calmly.

The ladies present there gasped while Veer baisa seethed. Though it was a harsh blow, it was the truth.

"And further, who are you to claim my naath as your 'husband' before me?" She smirked,"Choti Kunwaranisa." She taunted.

And listening to this Veer baisa couldn't help but yell at top of her lungs, "I condemn you to death."

Baijisa laughed out loud gracefully and answered, "And who the hell do you think you are, to condemn your queen."

There were a series of shocked gasps and whispers while Jayvanta baisa smiled. The foremost quality of the chief queen should be the dominance.

Before Veer baisa could scream something more, Dheer baisa interrupted angrily, "And who gave you the position to command here girl?"

"I did," stated Jayvanta baisa, finally standing up.

"But jija she disrespected your authority and-" Jayvanta baisa cut off Dheer baisa firmly.

"Dheer baisa, as you very well know, the first wife is said to be the chief queen and she has authority over every woman of the harem belonging to her husband and son," she said.

"She commanded Kunwarsa's harem without being present here, so what do you think will be the results with her presence? And moreover, Ranaji wants kunwarsa to take over soon. So why shouldn't Badi Kuwaranisa take over harem?" She declared.

"But she betrayed banm- I mean kunwarsa! How can you not see that maharanisa?" Veer baisa yelled with a pitch higher.

"Did she?" Asked Jayvanta baisa calmly, "And Veer baisa, you're in no position to make me see anything even if I don't," Jayvanta baisa reprimanded her sharply making her embarrassed in front of whole harem.

"Tomorrow, all the ladies will leave the palace except me and badi kunwaranisa before the break of dawn, disperse." She commanded.

"But jija-" Sajja baisa was cut-off by Jayvanta baisa sharply.

"Disperse," her command was low, yet authority dripped with every letter. The harem common room emptied slowly with some apprehensive, angry, disappointed and jealous emotions.

As soon as the common room emptied, Baijisa stood in front of Jayvanta baisa and bent to touch her feet as a sign of respect to gain blessings.

A serene smile bloomed on Jayvanta baisa's lips while she made her stand and hugged her tightly.

"I knew you would not let anything happen to any lady of the harem," she said.

"How could I, maharanisa?" Sighed Baijisa.

"Maharanisa? Call me maasa like my sons do," ordered Jayvanta baisa. Baijisa was surprised and deeply touched.

She had never felt motherly love and never head mother figure in her life,

"Maasa," she murmured softly with her eyes wet.

"You're the daughter I never had," said Jayvanta baisa with a smile.

"Come maasa, we have a special someone to save," informed Baijisa while taking Jayvanta baisa's hand in hers.

The dark night concealed the predators surrounding the fort. A man with a royal grace stood in front of the palace perched on the hill with his majestic posture.

"Hukum sa, are you sure about this?" Asked an elderly man to the one with sharp eyes surveying the surroundings.

"Don't you think we need to send help to the fort of Udaipur? There is no sign of Maharana, and no news about the women, heaven forbid if anything happened to them or-," the elderly man was cut-off sharply with a cold voice.

"Not a single scratch would come upon any woman present there," he declared.

"How are you so sure hukumsa?'' The man asked, shocked.

The person standing royalty before him just clasped his arms back in further intimidating posture and replied, "I want the preparations of infiltrating the Chittorgadh palace done till tomorrow's sun rise according to the plan," making the elder shake his head in disbelief.

Yet, he didn't hesitate to carry out his Hukumsa's order with utmost devotion. Just because he regards the man infront of him, much more than his own life.

The passage to the dungeons of Udaipur's fort were not easy to travel for two women alone. But they were not anyone. They were chief queen of Maharana Udaipratap Singh Raghuvanshi and first wife of his son Kunwarsa Adhrik Singh Raghuvanshi.

Both of them are warriors of utmost caliber themselves. Baijisa made a low sound and a man came forward who looked exactly like Maharana making Jayvanta baisa gasp.

"Is the work done?" She asked with cold dominance.

"Yes, Baijisa," the man said, bowing down in front of them and opening the door of a cell. Baijisa nodded and the man left the place.

Baijisa again clasped Jayvanta baisa's hand and dragged her inside the dungeons. The sight which she saw made one of the strongest queens, Maharani Jayvanta baisa break into tears.

There laid Maharana cover in his own pool of blood, caged in chains like a wild animal, unconscious. Even Baijisa's heart clenched painfully and she couldn't help but let out a wrenched sob.

Both of them immediately kneeled beside him and Jayvanta baisa took his head in her lap.

"Ranaji, Raa-naji please don't do this to me. Hukum, open your eyes. Hukum uthiye!" Jayvanta baisa whispered brokenly while caressing his hair.

Baijisa immediately found his pulse and took his hand in hers.

"Maasa, let's get out of here. I found his pulse, he needs immediate help," she declared with tears in her eyes.

Jayvanta baisa immediately straightened her back and composed herself while wiping her tears.

The woman with the will of steel braced herself and pulled her husband with the help of Baijisa and safely to the hidden royal chamber in the palace.

The Maharana of Udaipur opened his eyes and saw someone who he wanted as his all her life. Daughter. His daughter. A beautiful smile blossomed on his lips.

"Udita," he whispered making both the ladies attending gasp. He clasped Baijisa's hand tightly.

"Daata!" exclaimed Baijisa with relief realizing his consciousness.Immediately Jayvanta baisa and Baijisa caressed his forehead with a soothing touch.

"Udaipratap Singh Raghuvanshi's daughter, Udita," he declared, making Baijisa hug him tightly with lots of emotions. Not a daughter-in-law, but the daughter of his.

When he saw Jayvanta baisa, his eyes contorted in pain, "We lost, wife," his voice held raw pain and defeat.

Which pierced both the women's hearts painfully.

"No we didn't," replied Baijisa firmly, "Your Udita daata, will burn the whole world for you, but will not let a flame touch you."

"You want victory, I promise to give you the head of Mohammad Raffa Abdullah Khan at your feet at the end of this battle," she stated fiercely while looking straight in her father's eyes, with a promise.

A promise that meant the world to her because he was her father. Man who gave her his name, her identity and his affection. And she would be damned if she let a single pain scath him till she is alive.
