June purses her lips as she waits outside her storage unit for Starks movers to arrive. Most of her things have been kept here since she moved and temporarily relocated to a small apartment, just until she found a new place.

A few minutes later a black SUV and two large moving trucks pull up. Happy exits the drivers side and opens the back door as June pushes her sunglasses to the top of her head and takes a sip of her white-chip vanilla brown sugar coffee. Tony steps out much to June's surprise since yesterday he made it seem like he was just sending people to fetch her things.

"Good morning Miss Thompson," Tony steps out, grinning. He moves over to grab her hand and brings it up to his scruffy lips.

"Please, call me June since we're on a first name basis now." June smiles, gracefully accepting his gesture. "You came to help move?" She arches a brow.

"Oh no," He chuckles. "That's what they're for." He gestures to the movers exiting the trucks. "Make sure nothing gets dropped or broken." He calls over to them.

"Yes sir, Mr. Stark." One of them nods, very seriously.

"I'm here to take you out to brunch and discuss the details of your job, is that all right with you Miss- June." Tony pulls her attention back to him, motioning towards the car.

"Of course." June nods politely. The details were little to none on the job listing, and since her "interview" so to speak was very last minute she did not get a briefing of what her life will be looking like now and what the day to day tasks will be.

About thirty-minutes later Happy pulls up to a very nice looking restaurant.

"Wow." June mumbles to herself.

"Impressed?" Tony asks very pleased.

"Your employee's must be very lucky." June answers, "But it's gonna take more than wining and dining to impress me, Mr. Stark- Tony." She finishes with a smile.

Shock washes over Tony's face as Happy chuckles sending him a 'you've met your match' look through the rear-view mirror.

Happy beats the valet to open the car door for Tony and June and Tony whispers something to him before turning back to June. "Shall we?"

As soon as they step inside the hostess does all but sprint over to them. "Good afternoon Mr. Stark!" She rushes out. Tony glances down at his watch, reading 10:38am, but he chooses not to comment, for once. "We have a back room ready to go for your table of one." She informs him, not even offering a glance in June's direction.

Tony opens his mouth to correct her but June beats him to it. "That'll be a table for two please, thank you." June gives her a patient smile.

The hostess finally looks over to June and immediately curls her nose up in disgust. Tony notices and once again goes to say something before he's beat to it.

"Unless that'll be a problem... Lucy is it?" She reads the woman's name tag. "I can make another reservation elsewhere for Mr. Stark if it is." June handles the rudeness with grace, causing Tony to look at her in awe, which leads him to think Pepper probably would've made some snide comment at the woman. He internally groans for thinking that and once again comparing the two.

"N-not at all, ma'am, it's an easy fix." Lucy stutters, "Right this way." She leads the two to a small and bright room. "I didn't know Tony Stark was dating again." She mutters under her breath as she hands them menu's.

"What was that?" June looks up at her.

"Your waiter will be right with you." Lucy forces a smile before hurry off.

"I apologize. That kind of thing happens more often than not." Tony tells June, embarrassed.

"Not a problem." June shrugs it off. "We can't control how others act out towards us and around us, only our own behavior." She says simply.

Their waiter enters a moment later, practically bouncing. "Hello Mr. Stark. What can I start you off with to drink. We also have a happy hour menu if you'd like-"

June's eyes widen. One of the most important notes on the job description was to not let Tony drink or near alcohol.

"Oh, no thank you." She quickly dismisses. "I'd like a sweet tea please. Tony?"

Relief washes over Tony before he raises a brow. "Really? Pegged you for more of a water seltzer kind of gal." He tells June before turning back to the eagerly waiting young man. "I'll just take water."

"Already nailing it." Tony compliments once the waiter is gone. "I told Happy I made the right choice." He rolls his eyes playfully at the mention of his friend.

"So is he your butler, driver, or....?" June lists curiously, not quite being able to put her finger on Happy's role exactly.

Tony chuckles. "He used to be my driver and bodyguard, but felt embarrassed to continue that position when I became Iron Man, so he'a now Stark Industries Head of Security."

"But he still drives you around?" She asks, amused.

A genuine smile finds its way to Tony. "We've been together for so long, he can't rid of me." He laughs. "But, in all honesty, he's been kind of- watching over me until I hired somebody full time." June nods along, listening intently. "And I'm not allowed to drive myself anywhere for the time being." Tony adds.

"Ah." June nods understanding. "Duly noted." That should be fun. Maybe she'll get to drive a really nice, old-fashion car, she hopes.

Their drinks are placed in front of them before any other questions can be exchanged, but both parties had plenty.

"Are you both ready to order?" The young man asks.

"Yes, ladies first." Tony nods to June.

"I'll have the roasted tomato and mozzarella stuffed chicken breast with the lemon pepper broccoli and a side Caesar salad." She orders.

"I like woman with an appetite." He winks at her. "And I'll have two cheeseburgers." Tony holds his menu up without even looking, his attention fully on June instead. "Oh, and no veggies." He quickly sends the waiter a serious look. "They do not belong on burgers. And a side of onion rings."

June chuckles, giving him a funny expression as their waiter writes their orders and leaves once again. "A cheeseburger and onion rings? At a restaurant like this?" She gives him a bizarre look before taking a sip of her tea and squeezing two lemons in that were brought out on a small platter.

"Of course. Cheeseburgers are my favorite." Tony says mater-of-factly. June makes a mental note of that, starting a file in her head of everything she's learned about Tony thus far. She assumes the list will be miles long in no time.

"So, other than living with you and driving you around, what else will I be doing?" June shifts the subject to business.

"Ah, yes. Let's see." Tony rubs his hands together as if he's coming up with everything on the fly. "You do have to monitor me daily, making sure that I don't do anything reckless." He does a jazz-hands for effect. "And attend any meetings, dinners, pretty much anywhere I go outside of my home. You are supposed to make sure I'm being healthy and making healthier and safer choices." He grovels at that part. "I am supposed to get back to the company sooner or later... Oh! I must be monitored when working on my suits or doing Iron Man related activities. Alcohol is a big no go. I will need things to be scheduled for me like meetings and such. Gosh, what else?" He claps his hands a few times, deep in thought.

"Uh, I think that'll cover it for now." June pauses, a bit overwhelmed now. This better all be worth being a babysitter, assistant, and pretty much everything else all in one.

"Is any of that gonna be any sort of problem?" Tony asks, trying to read June, but she's keeping her face very neutral.

June recovers with a strained smile. "Not at all. This should be fun." She says the exact same thing as yesterday. All of the busy, tiring details aside, maybe it won't be so bad. She'll get to live in a mansion after all, surely being at the beckon call of billionaire can't be so bad...

"Don't worry, after a few of months the government will reevaluate me and I should be taken off your hands." Tony eases. "Saying you meet their standard that is." He rolls his eyes just thinking about being told what to do, especially by the government who hates him.

"I can assure you I will do my job to the best of my abilities." June assures.

"I'll toast to that." Tony raises his glass and June follows just as the food is heading their way.

"This all looks delicious." She compliments to the waiter.

"Thank you, Miss." He blushes. "Um, before I go, could I- could I have your autograph?" He turns to Tony.

Tony smirks. "Of course."

The waiter excitedly hands Tony a sharpie and Tony signs Iron Man rules, stay in schools on the kids apron.

"Thanks, man, Iron Man!!" He breathes, staring at the apron in awe as he leaves.

"That was cute." June smiles just as her phone rings. She looks at the caller, sighing to herself before pushing her chair away from the table. "Excuse me one moment." Tony nods curiously as she steps away to answer.

"What?" She rolls her eyes as she steps out into the hall of their private room.

"That's no way to greet me, June." The same man she spoke to yesterday amusingly answers.

"I'm in the middle of something." She huffs. "What is it?"

"Just wanted to see how moving in was going, that's all." The man defends.

"We're having lunch." June informs.

"You're on a date?" The man's voice fills with disgust and annoyance. "Need I remind you what you're supposed to be doing, June?"

She locks her jaw. "No sir. But if I'm supposed to get to know him and not get fired on the first day, lunch it is. Besides I have eat, do I not? Sir." She bites right back.

There's a moment of silence before an irritated sigh comes across the line. "As you were then."

"Mhmm, don't call me again to doubt me. I will call you with an update when I have one." June snaps before hanging up. She takes a minute to breath before smoothing her blazer and returning to Tony.

He looks up from texting as she sits back down. "Everything alright?"

"Of course." She answers with a chipper tone. "Just my old landlord checking to make sure I'm moved out."

Tony nods, glancing down at his phone before back to June. "What colors do you like? Pink? Lavender?" He takes a guess.

June thinks for a moment at the odd question. "As much as I love the smell of lavender, my colors are red and rose gold. I also enjoy nude, blush colors, and black does go with everything." She rattles off. "May I ask why?"

"Your room is being designed and put together as we speak." He smirks, sending another text before placing the phone back in his suit pocket. "Just a welcoming gift for when we get home."

"Oh, that's very kind of you." She dips her head in gratitude.

"Yes, but you're bathroom will not be ready for another week or two... how do you feel about a jacuzzi tub?" He asks as he takes the first bite of his cheeseburger. June notices he waited for her to get back before he started eating.

"Sounds perfect." She lets out a relaxing sigh. Maybe this won't be so bad indeed.
