Viviene grew up in her father's shadow, just wanting to hear the words: "you did great", she never got that. All she got was: "try harder" or "that isn't good enough", things that a child doesn't want to hear. Her only friend that she had was Cassiopeoia or Cassie, who is the daughter of Lucius Malfoy.

The two girls had a similar childhood, except for the part that Cassie was basically abandoned by her father at a young age because she is the 'black sheep' of the family. She isn't bad or pranking people (like her brother does), she just wants someone to love her. Which is what Viviene wants also.

The girls often stuck together as they were one of the few good slytherins, as despite being in the house of the death eaters, they were pretty decent people to be around with. Viviene met Neville Longbottom when he went to Hogwarts, as he was in Gryffindor. He was the only friend (besides Cassie) who made her smile.

Cassie was two years older than Viviene, as she was in her third year, she is the same age as the Weasley twins. Cassie was friends with the Weasley twins as Fred was her best friend. They clicked really well, and after two years, the two of them.

Molly welcomed Cassie with opened arms and gave her a parents love that she never got from her father. Just like that, she spent every year with the Weasley's.
