[ 𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 ] :: Aphrodite has grown up to be sweeter than sugar, always helping before worrying about herself and willingly giving things up for those in need. Although her willingness to make sure others are always can be seen as a good thing, it makes her fall into some people-pleasing tactics. Although she is the definition of a sweet Christian girl, sometimes she has thoughts of lashing out and getting angry, but on the outside, she just has her sweet smile. She could never really bring herself to cause such chaos anyway. She's a very reliable, receptive, and passionate person, she isn't someone who's a boring do-gooder, she feels intense feelings for those in need and is maybe a bit too empathetic. She can be seen as condescending to some because of how passionate she is about teaching people what she likes, and can be seen as a stupid crybaby because of her sensitivity and how easy she is to manipulate. She isn't one to stand up for herself since she's a very passive person.

[ 𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 ] :: Before Aphrodite was born, her parents had 3 sons and lived in a large house in Puerto Rico. They were very strict Catholics, though, in reality, they have a lot of hypocrisy going on. When they found out they were having a girl everyone was surprised and excited, and when she was born everyone wanted to be around her seeing as she was such a pretty baby. The way she was raised was much different from her brothers, her parents sheltered her a lot more and had her do majority of the household chores. Cooking and cleaning, yet her brothers couldn't cook or do their own laundry. She wasn't allowed to have guy friends that weren't from church and even then it was still strict. No sleepovers or going to parties without her parents being there. Dite dealt with these rules, she was constantly told to keep sweet, listen and obey ever since she was young so it's been drilled into her. Who was she to talk back? Of course she wished to be like the other girls in class, be able to hang out but instead she could never accept party invitations. The summer before middle school they moved to America, to a nice community that had plenty of latin people around so they wouldn't feel alone. In middle school she found herself liking a boy, and her brothers had girlfriends so why was it wrong for her to like someone? So she held his hand once after school and when her father saw she got into so much trouble, and was even humiliated publicly. So she never even talked to a boy longer than she needed to without feeling fear. Despite all this, she figured she was happy. She volunteered, did youth group almost everynight while her brothers went to parties and had sex, she go to go to purity balls and take a vow of purity. Because what was she without that? Once she got to high school it was terrifying, she didn't have social skills and was constantly terrified. Then she heard of her brothers and what they did, and she realized that was unfair. So she went home and asked her mom about it who chuckled and waved her off. "Boys are different, what can you do? Boys can be boys." that's when her view on her family faltered. Now, she was proven trustworthy and was that one girl your parents said you should be more like. But she was still a human, so despite not being allowed, she made secret social media accounts and decided to explore on her own. She learned so much and was so shocked that her family actually sucked accordiing to the internet. But she was conflicted, this was the secular world that was controlled by the devil but it was so beautiful. She wanted to experience a bit, so she prepared to audition for the cheerios. She made the team and surprisingly her mom was okay with it, though her dad said the uniform wasn't modest at all. It was the start of her new-ish life. She got to see how girls acted and what they enjoyed at school. She became popular pretty quickly thanks to her brothers and her own cheerio status. She joined the celibacy club of course and all was well. Then she found Glee, she was caught listening to them outside of the choir room but got scared away. She's heard bad things about the Glee club and school was just getting good, she didn't wanna ruin it but it seemed so appealing.

[ 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄 ] :: Aphrodite was already in Glee when Sam joined and immediately felt her face get warm seeing him. When his mouth was made fun of she was very quickly to defend him. She did stare at him weirdly because she was very attracted to him but tried her best to avoid him, walking away whenever he walked over and overall just being weird. Then one day he asked her why she didn't like him and she explained how she liked him but it was complicated. Then he asked her to do a duet with her after Kurt withdrew and she agreed, that was the start of their relationship.

Dite became friends with Brittany and that's how she became closer with Santana. Her overly bubbly personality and dedication to being Santana's friend was hard but eventually the girl gave up. They got really close and Aphrodite started to feel.. things. She started to think things like 'too bad santana isn't a guy or i'd wanna kiss her' and that freaked her out a bit. One day they were hanging out alone and Aphrodite kissed her cheek, which was a big deal to her but Dite ran off since she got scared.
