Once they all made it back to Evie's castle, in the two hours discussed Sam saw the rest of her friends waiting outside.

"Ben!" Mal says running over and hugging Ben tightly as we all reunited with our respective groups.

"I always knew you'd be part of the solution." Ben smiles brightly at Uma as Sam sits on one of the tables, with her hands in her lap.

"I can't wait to get all of this out of the way." Carlos says as he wraps his arms around Sam's shoulders which makes her giggle.

"Okay, so we all think that Audrey could be at Fairy Cottage. We have no idea where it is." Mal starts.

"Isn't that where her mother hid from your mother." Uma says sarcastically.

"Doug! Go with Evie, Gil and Henry." Mal says giving them their groups. "I will go with the rest of them."

"Sounds like a fancy plan, Miss Queen?" Henry says making Mal slowly nod her head.

"Be careful, okay." Sam calls out to the other half of the group.

"We will." Evie and Doug shout in unison.

The rest of the group made their way towards Fairy Cottage with Ben leading the way. Sam clasped Carlos' hand making sure to keep him close because of Audrey lurking.

Jay kicked the door to the cottage open and immediately running upstairs trying to find something.

"Come on Dude." Carlos calls out to his wandering dog.

"She's not upstairs." Jay announces as he makes his way back downstairs with everyone else.

"That's a shame." Carlos says sarcastically as Sam smiles at his joke.

Then a loud thud was coming from what looked like a locked closet which made Sam jump and Carlos holding her arm tightly protecting her from whatever is in the closet.

"Ben go do something!" Sam says scared as he pushed the wooden bar off the door and opened it cautiously. Revealing the one and only Chad Charming curled up in a fetal position on the floor.

"Chad?" Ben asked with his eyebrows raised.

"I want my mommy." Chad says as he went to go through the open door but was stopped by the boys and Sam, standing in front of said boys.

"Nice try." Sam says holding her hand in front of Chad as she prevents him from leaving.

"It's okay...what happened, buddy?" Ben asks

"Ben. Ben! Your face. She's gone? Huh? The door is open. I'm free." Chad says. "Freedom! Oh! Freedom!" Chad says quickly making his grand escape out the wide-open door.

"Let's get this Audrey chick taken care of already." Uma speaks up sounding extra motivated to finally finishing this off.

"What do you say, girls?" Sam says to the girls next to her. "Time to wrap things up?"

"You know, someday, you're gonna have to tell me how you guys all teamed up." Ben says to Uma and Mal with a huge smile on his face.

"Actually, Mal promised to let all the kids off the Isle once this is over." Evie tells him, because that was in fact exactly what she had promised after all.

"Mal?" Ben asks, sounding confused about what is going on and also what was said.

"I have to tell you guys something." Mal says. "Um...I lied to you. The kids won't be coming off the Isle."

"What do you mean?" Sam says crossing her arms across her chest as Uma followed in suit.

"The program is shut down. And the barrier...will be closed for good. For Auradon's safety." Mal says speaking quickly trying to deliver the news like it's no big deal.

"Hold up. So we're saving your precious people and your behinds for a lie." Uma says walking closer to Mal with sass. "I knew it was a mistake to trust you. You were always thinking about yourself." Uma says then she turned to Ben. "And you, King Bennyboo...you're probably just gonna throw us all back inside."

"You know what, Mal? You're just a chicken." Sam says. "The whole reason why my brothers came to Auradon was to give them a better life than on the Isle, and now we can't do that for the other kids. Guess what, it's all your fault." Sam says.

"Let's go find Gil and leave them to rot." Uma says walking off with Henry and Harry right after her in the woods.

"Uma!" Mal shouts after the girl that had just abandoned the group.

"Sam... Evie...I'm sorry, I just...I thought that...I was afraid to tell you. I thought I was gonna lose my best friends. But I had to do something. I had to protect Auradon." Mal says with tears welling her eyes.

"Closing the barrier was your idea." Sam says to Mal as she has tears in her eyes at saying that. "That was all what you would talk about, and now look you broke your promise to us, to everyone."

"I did it for us. I did it for the lives that we have here now." Mal says trying to explain but still wasn't coming up with anything valid.

"For our life? What about the kids that we left behind on that island?" Carlos says bringing up the rest of the kids as he knows about how Mal wanted all the other VKs to get a chance to come to Auradon, like he did with Sam, Mal, Evie and Jay.

"The kids that you promised. We were their only hope. I thought you were gonna stand up for the VKs. But instead, you lied to them." Sam says walking towards Mal with an angry look on her face, as she wasn't one to raise her voice, and or get angry, and when she does it shocks people.

"You lied to Jay. You lied to Carlos. You lied to Evie. You lied to me. Mal we're your family. That's not what family does." Sam says with betrayal clearly written on her face as she knows how Evie would feel if she was here. "Family wouldn't lie to each other, this isn't the Isle of the Lost, Mal."

"Sam, come on. I had no choice!" Mal says as everyone else, but her and Mal had turned to stone. When Sam saw Carlos turned to stone, she cried as she walked up towards him as she touched his cheek.

"See look what you did, Mal." Sam says as she looked over her shoulder at Mal.

"I'm sorry, Sam, believe me. I did what I thought was right." Mal says to her best friend.

"Well, hate to tell you this, but you were wrong." Sam says as Mal looks down knowing that Sam is right. "Let's go find Uma and the others but let me do the talking. I'm afraid if you talk there's going to be a lie."
