the eldest daughter with the weight of the world on her shoulders and the youngest child who's only seen as a replacement, both with a fire they can't seem to burn out.

jaiden buckley moves to los angeles with his sister, maddie buckley, after she makes the brave decision to finally leave her husband, kendall, but not before jaiden had to suffer the consequences first.

now, he's drowning himself in a bottle, and in any person, he can find to forget. to make it all go away. being the savior child is hard... because who saves you?

but that all changes when he joined the 118 and meets olympia grant. he suddenly had a newfound purpose: annoy the absolute shit out of her until she falls in love with him. working at the fire station may have given him a second chance to make something of himself and feel like he actually has a reason for being here.

olympia grant has never felt more immense pressure and at a loss than she has after graduating high school, a pressure she's placed on herself. she feels astray, unsure of what the next step is she should take. college? law enforcement? the medical field? the indecisiveness and uncertainty is crushing olympia... she'd always taken life so seriously... too seriously. so when she meets the loud, wild young buckley, will he be able to extinguish the hard exteriors that make olympia grant and ignite the spark that once burned in her...

the one thing olympia was sure about was she wanted to help people, like her mom. oh, and that she hated jaiden buckley... guess that makes two things...

how will these two succumbing into the world on their own for the first time react to olympic sized challenges, their individual problems, and how they always manage to end up running into one another... seems the universe has a mind of it's own, even more stubborn than olympia grant's. lucky for her, jaiden buckley doesn't take no for answer.

• this is jiara in another universe!! for all my jiara lovers out there!! (they will be my oc's & be their own characters, but i will be taking inspo from jj & kie & want them to be jiara variants)

• buddie will be shipped by both jaiden & olympia ;)

• i do not want them to get together right away bc i do not find that as interesting to write lmao (ig i like to suffer as a writer) so there will be angst, messiness, & slow burn (but not as slow as buddie lmao)

• this will not be published for a little while (as i need to catch up on 911 lmao, & obviously more plot lines & things will develop along the way, but i have so many ideas & i'm SO exciteddd)

• since publishing this in may this universe has expandeddd... & there will now be 2 more oc's added to the mix ;) 

• i decided to make a multiverse fic series natalie & travis from yellowjackets & thought this fic would be perfect to add them in since they are jaiden & olympia's age

• natalie will be a buckley, jaiden's twin sister, & travis is eddie's younger brother

• i will publish a separate chapter for them/their summer as this one is already complete lol, but they will all be included in the same book! i am even more excited for this book now !!!
